Sometimes I wonder just how far she takes the "being a cat" thing.

I do remember she was talking about insomnia during one of the Naichau Kamo promotional appearances, but this sounds like it's getting serious.
If you're someone who has to be "on" all the time, I suppose it can get hard to switch to "off".
I wonder if this is why so many performers get dependent on sleep medication.

i remember reading about aichan schedule and she was awake until 3 am or more watching movies and then needed to wake up in the morning... so guess the insomnia isn't just a Reina problem but so i don't think is some kind of issue that needs some major medical attention (maybe this is why h!p girls have baggy eyes?)

I had a wierd sleep schedule for a summer job once that devolved into near-insomia.    It slowly drives you crazy.  If it's just that her bed is lonely...

Like all Reina fans, I do hope Reina's in good health but you'll have forgive me for not buying into the overly one-sided article.

I think all the girls suffer from insomnia at some point or another.  Sayu for one used to complain about not being able to sleep on her radio show but now her blog is all about her sleeping   On one hand I do see Reina posting about not being able to sleep, on the other hand I also see Reina posting about sleeping well.  Some nights she can sleep, some nights she can't...in my mind it's pretty normal.

Yeah, I think she's probably fine. As with various celebrities, she may just have trouble turning off sometimes. She seems to post a decent bit about like "I waited in line for 30 minutes... that's such a waste of one's life isn't it?!" Like... she has to constantly be going and doing something all the time. Just this morning she talked about how she had to wait 160 minutes for this kaitenzushi place her and Aika went to, and how that was a waste. Then again, 160 minutes isn't really negligible either lol so that doesn't necessarily count. Just from what I've seen otherwise too.

She's just too much of a little ball of energy... She sure looks more awake normally than Sayu or Eri for example, lol.

Omg I didn't even notice when I saw this pic in here (before checking Reina's blog for description) that these were "Reinya-phones" ! That is so awesome. And they're Reina's own proposal!! That makes sense I suppose... It's the kind of thing she would like and wear lol. And whaddya know?

Reina's responses to the self-ranking questions released in the last few days... I gotta stop doing this.

Q1: Members: Ogawa Saki, Fukuda Kanon, Hagiwara Mai, Natsuyaki
Miyabi, Mitsui Aika. Unit: Tanaka's Army. Before, at the H!P concert, proof
was presented that "Tanaka Reina is secretly making 'Tanaka's Army'". So,
if that's implemented, H!P members, especially ones I often talk with, I'll
want to gather together and form it all out

Q2-1 (voice): (Ogawa) Saki has personality in her vocal quality and singing
method, and puts a lot of effort into it. Moreover, I think she expresses
that trait very well. Because she sings rather well, I always admire
her.

Q2-2 (dance): (Saki Shimizu) Man, her movement exceeds the limits of an idol!!
She's a true natural dancer. In H!P lives too, in a genuine performance
you can't help but stare at her!

Q2-3 (talking): Sayu's brain spins so fast, and Gaki-san's summary
skills are great. When I have a talk with those two, with a really infinite
spread of topics, I truly feel the quality of the consistent conversations!

Q2-4 (character): I chose Yuuka because since she has a really nice atmosphere about
her, and her voice is also cute, I'm envious. It's completely opposite of
me . She's your regular "type of girl that guys will like".

Q2-5 (face and body): Saki-chan (Nakajima) has long legs and a good
style, doesn't she? Because I'm short and have poor balance, generally
speaking if I grow taller I'd want to have an attractive body shape like
Saki-chan!

Q2-6 (fashion): Because (Miyabi) wears the same genre of clothes as me, I
always notice her. Because she's casually fashionable in more trivial
points too, I keep an eye on it all.

Q3 (secret personality): Maasa, from her looks, I think might look
standoffish, or rather she has an image that she wouldn't often talk in a
very cool way. In her personality also, there are lots of people who feel
like she goes her own way, preferring not to consult with others about it.
However, in actuality she'll come out from herself and approach everyone,
talking to them about various things. Even though she may be a bit spoiled,
from how she appears to what lies behind it she's incredibly friendly.

Q4 (big sister): Because like at times when Aika wants to have a
drink she asks "Would you like a drink?" she really gives those small
considerations. Also, since it seems like she does almost all her
housework herself, when I'm looking at those points, I think she'd become a
very reliable big sister. If we lived together I'd rely on Aika for
everything

Q5 (little sister): (Ogawa Saki) From hair to toe, generally
speaking I love all of her . Actually, from her time as an H!P Egg
I've seen her as "Such a cute child!". Then, when she joined S/mileage, I
thought "of course she would". Since I decided long before that if I could have
a little sister it'd be Saki-chan, she was the necessary answer to this
question!

Q6 (mother): When JunJun and I are together, it's very calming. Even
though JunJun will sometimes, before going on stage for a live and in order to
calm herself down, ask me to hold her tightly, myself in the calming
position will conversely become calmed down myself! Since she has such
tolerance and we come to support each other in the hug, when we move she'll also take the
seat next to me.

Q7 (pet): Looking at character, this would definitely be Yuuka,
wouldn't it? Since she's cute, gentle and calm, just looking at her would
be very soothing and comforting. Because her skin is white, if compared to
an animal I wonder if she'd be a bunny. Every day I'd neatly give her food,
and as she'd quickly grow I'd continue to watch over her with warm eyes
.

Q8 (comedy duo): Mai's eagerness is incredibly good. In the past,
when I went to hang out at Mai's house, I felt like she was a super funny
girl. Since she and I seem to be on the same wavelength, I think we'd
become a funny combo! As for the roles, Mai would of course be the
tsukkomi, and I would be the boke. Since generally speaking she's good with
her mouth , I think she'd be able to reprimand me very soundly.

Q9 (girlfriend): In H!P, I think Risako is the most girlish and has
the cutest face. As for the likeable face, when we first met I instantly thought "This
girl, she's ingeniusly cute!" . Since
then, I've always continued to think that. I wonder if I thought that since
I have boyish characteristics myself. If Risako-chan was my girlfriend, I'd
be without words.

Q10 (boyfriend): This was decided by Yurina's height I think .
Maybe since I'm small, but I'll say for one reason or another, a girl would
yearn for a tall guy. Because there would be no objections to that point if
it was Kumai-chan, I feel she could be relied on for support from above.
Because of that height, if she'd tell me "Come here!" man, my heart would
beat fast.

Oh no guys, it's rumor time!

There is a rumor brewing that Morning Musume member, Tanaka Reina, is dating singer, Maekawa Hiroki, who Reina co-stars with in music show “Uta no Rakuen“.  The reason why this rumor came up is because of Reina and Hiroki’s blogs.  According to Tantei File, sometimes they make very similar blog entries at almost the same time.

The most recent one is when both of them posted about weird looking clouds in the sky, and it is said that it looks like they are both in a car on the high-way.  Moreover, the time they posted these entries was only 12 minutes apart.
