Morning Musume's Love... Circle? [Chap 10 - Mar 3]
« on: September 07, 2008, 04:38:54 AM »
:depressed: eh.. well.. this is my first fic, and I think a few of you might have seen me, but I've been a total lurker around the fanfiction parts
Well, I've been meaning to post one up but I've always been afraid that I might not be able to finish it, and/or it might not develop well (the story).
Ah but, I'll of course try to write and get this story done, but it might be long..

Also, just to get people thinking (cuz I know all of you love a good guessing game) there are a few mysteries concerning about the story itself (anything that strikes as odd or something might be on purpose) just point it out (cuz if it's not on purpose I'll have to fix it :P)
I suppose that's my sad attempt at keeping the interest of my audience.. If I get any that is.. XD

Concerning the title, it's like a warning, as in, the story is very messed up so beware. It's not a love triangle, nor a love square anymore, there's so many lines everywhere that I just called it a Love Circle
Also, Warning: there will be lots of Turtle-loving going on :glasses:

Enjoy~

Chapter One

For Morning Musume the days were normal. It was hectic as usual, what with their crammed schedules and physical practice with non-stop dancing. Life was normal all in all. However outside the happy, perfect facade the girls had to give, many things such as relationships - especially relationships actually - were a factor to their daily lives. And it wasn't just one member either, everyone had problems, nobody really clicked perfectly with one another, friends had problems too.
Takahashi Ai for one was a quiet person, keeping most of her thoughts to herself, keeping herself closed. That was one of the main reasons why she had troubles really connecting with someone.

Ai was on her way to her next appointment; her schedule was more crammed than usual now that she was leader. She was given a break in between but she figured she might as well go there now before she was actually late. This was typical in a sense, as Ai was as punctual as ever, even more so now that she was leader. However, as much as she wanted to get through the next thing on her to do list, her stomach pushed all those things down and 'eat' ended up on the top of that list.
On her way she walked by the Hello! Project lounge the place where practically everything happens. People usually walked by and it was a good place to chat and relax; so Ai, seeing as how there was nobody there at the moment, thought it would be a good idea to eat there, then when she was done she can be on her way without taking any detours. She took out her lunch from her bag, eating rice and zoning out soon after. Her eyes unconsciously wandered from person to person as they walked by, nobody bothering to wave and acknowledge she was there as they were busy as well.

Suddenly her mind was reeled back and her hazed eyes abruptly focused on one particular person, Niigaki Risa. Her mind then went into overdrive, she wanted to talk to Risa, yet... what was it that was holding her back?

As if feeling her gaze, Risa was about to turn around and greet Ai before she got attacked from behind by an over enthusiastic girl. Eri had jumped Risa from behind and was taking her away from Ai. If looks could kill, Eri might have died then. How long has it been since her and Risa talked? Much too long apparently, if Ai didn't know better, she would think that their relationship was on a very thin line.
Why have they not talked like old times, why is everyone getting in their way? So many questions, and one overall answer, Ai had pushed Risa away, this was her punishment.

"Gaki-san let's go eat, I know a good place!!" the taller of the two jumped excitingly and dragged Risa by the arm.
In Ai's mind she wants to call the girl 'Risa', showing that they were closer than anybody else. But reality was harsh, and they seemed to be ripped apart farther each time they got close - one step forward and a giant leap backward it would seem. Ai was forced to call Risa 'Gaki-san' like everybody else, not really setting herself apart from others.

As Risa got dragged away, Ai noticed that she looked back; their eyes locked for... who knows how long. Probably less than a second, but that was all that was needed, as it felt almost as if the distance, the air in between them was heated. She saw longing in Risa's eyes, and could easily guess that her eyes probably showed the same thing.

She looked away as did Risa, but her body still remembered the feeling, was it wrong to feel this way?
---

A girl locked away in her room, tortured by her own thoughts. She has gotten so well at faking innocence in front of the camera that she hasn't been thinking much of it. Off camera made her tone down the happiness as she was still around her fellow co-workers. When she finally is alone however; she becomes a black hole, depressed and dark.
What was the reason for such a thing? Tanaka Reina has thought countless times what this depression may have originated from. Every time it seems to point at a particular turtle.

"Dammit...” the thought of Eri again made her pound her pillow as she rolled around in her bed. What happened to the times of when they would discreetly hold each others hand or hug for no particular reason? Now she was constantly with Gaki-san, leaving both her and Ai-chan annoyed.
Reina could obviously tell that she wasn't alone in this matter as Ai-chan would just stop doing whatever she was doing, even if it was just a split second, when she sees anyone get intimate with her Gaki-san. She smiled ruefully at this; Reina herself was unsure whether to show how she felt. She was afraid Eri would just be fed up with her, as she knew that Reina is pretty bad as a jealous girl.

What... was it exactly that made them drift apart? It seems that four years ago Eri and Gaki-san were already grouped together multiple times in shows or segments. Is it because they were so similar, or was it because they were the same age? Speaking of which, Sayu would sometimes be in that group too, talking of various things, but nevertheless, Eri and Gaki-san are together far too often to her liking.
"Okay." she said to herself, she sat up with a new vigor, she was going to break those two apart.
"No wait" she stopped herself from getting up, what would be the point in doing that? For one, Eri would just get mad at her, ruining any chance of a friendship renewal, and two, what if she just hanged with Sayu again? Reina wasn't all that worried about Eri's recent relationship with Junjun as it just seems like Eri was being a big sister to her, ironically enough.
"Reina got it" once again she blurted out what she was thinking, her voice cutting through the dead silence of the room. She was going to get Ai to realize her own feelings for Gaki-san, this way; it removes any possibility of Gaki-san protesting to when Reina takes Eri away. Reina wanted to confess quickly, but knew she had to have patience in things like these.
As much as she hated taking so much time, she had to first renew the relationship she once had with Eri. Then at the right time confess and find out how Eri felt about her. If everything becomes useless at that point, if she doesn't feel that way, what will she do?

Forget it, think about it when it actually happens,  if worse comes to worse she'll just lock herself in her room again and do what cats do, sleep it off.
---

>_>

Oh yea, I should probably mention that the first 3 chaps will just be like an intro, basically nothing will really happen, it's just to let you guys get the feel of the people and their personalities and such.

I tried my best to get into character and such when I narrated their point of view.. kinda..
well yea okay, I'll work on the next chapter then.. btw should I space more? cuz I kinda write in large walls of text in case you haven't noticed ><

... OH DANG. xD Eri's and Gaki-san are stuck in another love-shape. For some odd reason Eri often seems to be in the center of these. ._. Is it cuz she hangs out with everyone? O_o

Anyway, you're story is off to a great start. I can't wait to see another update. As far as spacing goes, I find that the way you do it now is fine. :) Good luck writing!

EDIT: I just noticed the thing at the top of your post. Turtle loving, eh? Well then I'm gonna love this fic... xD

So then...

Aichan -   -> Risa
Risa - :heart: ? :heart: -> Aichan
Reina -   -> Eri
Eri - :heart: ? :heart: -> Risa

Reina should just team up with Aichan, since it's not likely the latter will let herself do anything bold enough to "reclaim" Risa since she's leader now. She needs some yankii help. :D

Love circle? This will be very interesting :)
I'm wondering; will there actually be two people who like each other or will they all like someone else who likes someone else etc?
I'm sure it'll all work out in the end....right? I guess I'll have to wait and see about that...
Heheh, GakiKame  Nothing and no-one can get in the way of their love!

Excellent job for your first fanfic! I can't wait to see how you develop your own style.

Chapter 2

I'm late...
Was the only thing that ran through the mind of Mitsui Aika as she quickly ran inside the H!P headquarters. Left... she ran past a few people, some a little angry for almost bumping into them but a quick 'sorry' remedied that. These things tend to happen; people just let it go as long as you were polite enough to acknowledge that bumping into people was bad. She saw her ending destination and almost tripped as she grabbed the doorknob and hurried inside. She saw Linlin already in position but the other one...
Ah, there she was, Junjun came from behind Aika; she must have been really late for Junjun to come at the same time. "GOOD MORNING" Linlin bellowed out, her voice ringing in the room, apparently the dance teacher wasn't here yet, thank god. In any case, that girl was too loud, Aika and Junjun nodded silently in reply, going off to the side and dropping their bags off.
"'morning" Junjun said quietly before brushing past her. Aika's face felt a little hot, but she blamed it on the running she had to do to get here on time.
Junjun and Linlin conversed again in that broken but rapidly improving Japanese. They talked to each in Japanese far more frequently now; they said it was good practice for the language and also they can correct each other without too much of an embarrassment. But Aika was always amazed on how fast Junjun learned Japanese; when she had first joined Morning Musume, she only knew the basics, actually almost nothing at all. Now however, she is able to hold a conversation for awhile, and her accent, it's barely there, and if compared to the strong accent Linlin seems to hold, Junjun sounds quite Japanese.

What's with her these days? Lately, her mind's been going off on how amazing Junjun is, was it admiration? Well, that might be a little incorrect, since if she was going to admire someone it would be Leader or Sub-leader. Maybe it was because they were in the same generation, because, age certainly did not matter in this case. Kusumi-san was the same age as her but there didn't seem to be as much respect as she holds for everyone else, with the exception of possibly Linlin. That girl was a little too hyperactive for her liking, along with Kusumi-san.
The dance teacher came in; Aika shrugged her last train of thought off, 'I guess I just prefer the quiet types'.

Dance practice was tiring as usual, but she knew that she will improve, and she should work hard to be as good as everyone else and then better. Linlin was good as usual, as expected of a dancer, but Junjun... it isn't because she can't dance, on the contrary she's as good as everyone else, but her height makes her seem a little awkward when she dances, which was probably why the dance teacher looked a bit distressed.
Ah but, practice is done and Aika wanted to go out and eat. Should she ask if Junjun wanted to eat with her? They were all hungry; they just danced for an hour, so Aika is sure Junjun is going to eat somewhere. But she can't just only ask Junjun, Linlin will want to go along too...
"Good bye~ Thank you for the hard work~"
Unexpectedly Linlin sped out the door leaving just her and Junjun. "Where's she going?" Aika didn't really expect an answer but she got one anyway.
"Her parents are coming over from China, she is..." she trailed off, her face slightly scrunched up as she thought for the right word, it seems her vocabulary is still lacking, but that was acceptable enough, the first part anyway.
"I see, well; since it's just us two, want to go eat?" Aika heard herself and realized she sounded a little too hopeful, but she did want her to say yes, for more reasons than one. It's never fun eating alone, today was no exception. If anything, she would feel even lonelier if she was rejected.
"Sure!" was it just Aika or... did Junjun sound exceptionally happy about the idea. No, she was reading much too far into that one power filled word. Obviously people looked forward to food, there's no other reason.
They both walked to a nearby restaurant, they're here because Junjun said she heard that the place was good. She didn't say who but Aika didn't give too much thought into it. It was a quaint, bright place, and the chairs and tables were modern and it looked like a good parfait could be ordered from here. They picked a spot, one that was against the wall with a comfortable leather sofa seat.
"I wonder if they have spaghetti...”
"Let's see." Junjun grabbed the menus and handed one to Aika, both scanned the foods almost hungrily. "This looks good." she laid her menu down and pointed to it, Aika leaned over, it indeed looked good.
"I found the spaghetti, okay; let's have this and this... Oh, I'm going to get a parfait!" Junjun seemed to think for a moment, probably contemplating if she should get one too.
"Mitsui-san, get a big one, let's share~" Aika had to admit, she liked the idea, it seemed reasonable and if one person didn't like it the other could eat it; also, they both couldn't eat all that much, so a medium sized parfait was a good idea for the both of them to share.
"Haha, good idea, let's get one with a banana." Aika grinned, slightly teasing the older of the two; Junjun seemed to understand and faked annoyance in that cute way of hers.
Just then they heard familiar voices, she looked to Junjun and saw that she froze.

"I told you this was a good place."
Her eyes betrayed a look of hurt. At that point it became a little obvious who was beside their seats. It was probably Niigaki-san and Kamei-san. Niigaki-san's voice is pretty hard to mistake, whereas Junjun's reaction to the voices made the other person Kamei-san.
She seemed to shake her shock off after a bit and smiled at Aika, it seemed... it was forced, but it seemed a bit rueful. Aika realized it was probably Kamei-san that recommended the restaurant, hence the look of hurt. Aika was well aware of the feelings Junjun had for Kamei-san; they were together a lot when Junjun first joined. It was only natural for somebody scared, inexperienced, and so far away from home to grow attached to the first person to show kindness. However, Aika was also sure that Kamei-san treated Junjun like a little sister even if it was the other way around. 'I guess, age in terms of... experience?' Aika thought, it was cut short when a waitress came by and asked if they were ready yet. She nodded and chose the stuff that she and Junjun had agreed upon.

She looked back at the older girl; does she want to be the rebound girl? If only she befriended Junjun early on too, but at that time she was just as scared as her. Before anything, the first step should be to figure out her own feelings. What type of relationship does she want with this other girl, and, is it all right for her to like another girl?
---

"Thank you for the hard work!" Kusumi Koharu bellowed out to the rest of the staff members.
Her popularity continued to grow along with her workload. There were many times where she wished she wasn't called the 'Miracle' because it only made others shun her, yet there were those that tried to be kind and she, herself attempted to play around with the whole Miracle image. She was thankful for the new generation, where they do not know about the whole attention thing. It was only natural for a senpai to be busy in their eyes.

She was especially happy that she had somebody the same age as her that came in, as she had entered Morning Musume at the minimum age so she was the youngest. However now she wasn't alone and Koharu attempted to talk to Mitsui.
When Mitsui first joined, Koharu saw that she was alone and shy; she so wanted to just converse with her. Reality was harsh though and Koharu was too busy with the whole anime flow and gaining popularity that it made it impossible to just chat with Mitsui normally.

Afterwards it seemed that Mitsui was rather... too attached to Yoshizawa-san and ended up even more depressed when their past leader graduated. The two Chinese girls that ended in the same generation were not much help either as they were still learning the language.

One problem was solved and that only created a bigger mess to the Mitsui issue. Koharu was glad that Mitsui could voice act in the same anime as her, she did not realize however at the immense amount of embarrassment and skepticism coming from the quiet girl.
'We finally have time to hang out with each other!' was what Koharu thought, but she was clearly mistaken as it almost seemed as if Mitsui had avoided the hyperactive girl.
Koharu would try to play it off thinking that the other girl was just busy or shy, so her first attempt was to get closer to Mitsui. Of course, that didn't end well.  Afterwards, she always saw Mitsui around the others, and she was clearly getting closer to the other members, laughing and joking along now.
Hopeful, Koharu attempted to talk with Mitsui again; the result ended up with the girl nodding along and listening to what Koharu had to say. 'She's such a good listener' was what Koharu believed.

Their personalities were completely different but hey, opposites attract right?
---

okay, for some reason I love Mitsui/Junjun pairings, but I've NEVER seen anybody write one T_T so I got fed up waiting and now present my own (hopefully it catches on?? ><)

also.. I'm sorry for making Koharu's pov so.. short whereas Mitsui's is so frickin' long o.O" well I guess it levels out..
2 Reasons why Mitsui's train of thought is so long,
1) I think.. she probably thinks a lot.. and 2) her and Junjun are my fav members XD (in case you couldn't tell)
yay for cynical Mitsui~
Also, sorry if it's been really boring so far :kneelbow:

DON'T YOU DARE CALL YOURSELF BORING. D< This fic is amazing, even if it's only the first two chapters. I'm loving the amount of turtle love you seem to stuck here. xD Junjun and Reina (and maybe even Risa?) like Eri. Then there's Ai to Risa, Mittsi to Junjun...Koha to Mittsi...dang. I'm really liking this. XD (Probably due to the massive circle...shape...thing you've created.)

Absolutely loving it. Keep updating. (While I try to finish my own work and continue writing. Curse you education system! T_T)

That's very sensible/logical of her to think that. Better to be sure instead of just jumping in right away. After all, wouldn't want them to make a mistake that could ruin what could be a really good friendship.

@ShikyoxYaiba thank you  :kneelbow: I'm kinda the type of person that has low self esteem, so I tend to criticize myself before anybody has a chance too :P

@Shadowolf8 LOL it's great you noticed that Sayu was left out and all, but I love how you didn't notice somebody else left out ><

@JFC omg!!  JFC's famous long commenting!! I'm honored XD and lol, I'd love to see you list out all the characters like that.. you'll see A LOT of hearts.

Haha, mm.. school really takes up your time doesn't it??  :dozing:  I usually get inspiration in the middle of the night, lol which caused me to almost be late today cuz I was typing till 3am ><

Chapter 3

A lone girl in a room with multiple objects and a mic in front of her face was hard at work and doing her radio show.
"This is Michishige Sayumi and you are listening to the radio show Konya mo Usachan Peace~" A music played and she waited for her cue to continue on with the script that was lying on the table in front of her. Lately she has been very good at working and she was given her own radio show, to Sayumi that meant a lot.

An hour or more went by and she was finished with the show. After saying "Good work" to all the staff members, she wandered out. What should she do now, call Reina or Eririn? Was that even an option now? As lately they haven't really been hanging out anymore. Well it's always fun with either of them, the turtle can get so crazy sometimes but the cat was just interesting to be around with that it makes it hard for her choose. In all honestly she would rather have the three of them together, the turtle, the bunny, and the cat made the day all that much brighter.
She sorely missed the days of when she and Eririn would work together, during those times she was so smitten by how cute her turtle acted on Hello! Morning episodes. There was even one time where she had accidentally blurted out something she had been wanting to say for a long time on one of the tapings. Thank god it was in English and nobody seemed to notice, however it's out there and she had mentally kicked herself for it multiple times after.

Lately however, it felt as if she had betrayed Eririn, since she hung out with Reina far too frequently after, doing those 'Date' plays for fun for example. If the old her had seen her now she would have been slapped as before she only had eyes for Eririn. Now she couldn't choose, should she go with the old love or the new one?
She had been deeply influenced by the whole prince image before, making her go after the well known "Pimp" of Morning Musume, Yoshizawa Hitomi. That crush didn't last very long because Yoshizawa-san just didn't pay all that much attention to her it would seem.
But was that all?

She likes Eririn and Reina, but what part of them is 'Princely', what in the world made her like them? Both of them were very cute for one; even if Reina had a slightly bad attitude and wonky eyes. And Eririn was even more girly than her - acting in that oh so cute way of hers - so absolutely nothing makes them her ideal prince and yet..

Maybe she was finally beginning to understand the concept of love, shattering that Cinderella world image she had held on for so long. Yes, maybe that was it, love, the thing that every girl wonders about, always hoping to find that guy of their dreams.

"Haah...” She sighed, almost laughing at herself; she was naive wasn't she. Well now she was just no longer in the mood to be with anyone anymore; she just wanted to go back home and figure out who she really loved. When that was done she will confess; even if she gets rejected (but that won't happen right?) she will relentlessly chase after her, yes that was her plan.

"Who could resist the world's number 1 cutest girl anyway?" She smiled to herself while heading back home.
-----------------------

Niigaki Risa collapsed onto her bed when she finally went back home and up into her room. She was fatigued and didn't bother to change out of her clothes, not yet, she wanted to rest for a bit. She shifted her head to the left, changing her position to a slightly more comfortable one.
To her, the day was eventful, she reflected; she had met Ai-chan and Kame. Meeting the turtle was common now but seeing Ai-chan added a new twist in her day and made it all that much more exciting.

She had not talked to Ai-chan ever since she was given Leader status which frustrated her to the point of exhaustion at one point. Ai-chan was busy, she understood that, but Risa wanted to help her because knowing Ai-chan, she was probably overworking herself. When Risa was practically pushed away, Risa decided to be cruel and ignore her back. The look Ai-chan gave her this afternoon was the result of it. She saw longing, but amongst that was immense lust and hunger that made Risa blush just at the thought of those deep eyes; she swears she can get lost in them.

Risa was actually waiting for the right time to attack her Ai-chan when she knew their leader couldn't take anymore. She purposely goes near the other members, becoming intimate or close to them in front of Ai-chan just to get a reaction or just to add to her pressure gauge. Yes, she realized this was cruel, but she was constantly pushed away, and she wanted Ai-chan to understand her own feelings before Risa can show hers. Actually, she already did but the short haired girl was too dense and didn't understand the meaning of her words and actions. Due to that, Risa was partially rejected and now she was using this cruel method as punishment.
The thing was - yes there came a problem in her plan - she became too close to Kame, really close. And now she wasn't so sure who she loved more. Well, seeing Ai-chan made her on the top of the list again but Kame was close behind.

How does PokepokePu-san feel about her? They have been together for a long time, whether it was due to their similar age or because of their similar personality she did not know. Since they were often grouped together before, and even more so now, it was only natural for Risa to start to notice a few things about Kame.

She was so adorable, and would react in the oddest way at times; it was also fun teasing Kame, and seeing her go insane was always interesting too. It used to be just Risa laughing at random things and other people just looking at her weirdly but now there was somebody laughing along with her.
"Kame... or Ai-chan.. what do I do?.." her neck was beginning to hurt so she got up and turned on the lights which she forgot to do so when she had first entered her room. She then went to her closet to get a change of clothes; she was going to take a shower.

"Speaking of which...” she suddenly started talking to herself, trailing off and allowing her voice to echo in her bathroom.
Speaking of which, she continued in her mind this time, she has been constantly grouped together with Kame lately hasn't she? What with the GakiKame segments, or the GakiKame radio shows, why is that? She's Sub-leader isn't she, why wasn't she constantly grouped together with Ai-chan? Yossy and Miki were! Actually it wasn't just them either, past leaders and sub-leaders always seem to be together.
She had stripped and was standing under the shower head, steam was starting to appear as warm water poured over her, shrouding her in mist. She desperately wanted this shower time to clear her head and make her relax but instead it made her think even more. Her thoughts were just going around in circles and she wasn't making much progress. She forced herself to stop thinking and just took a shower peacefully.

Hair wet and feeling clean she sat at her desk, 'I guess it's time to think of what to do tomorrow' she thought. Tomorrow they had dance practice as their next concert was just around the corner. And there, she had to figure out what she was going to do such as who she should talk to.

She suddenly remembered why her and Ai-chan were pushed apart. The rumours about them together got too much for Ai-chan to handle so she suggested to Risa that they should play it safe and not get too close on camera. Because of that, what was just for pretend turned out real and they really did not talk to each for a long time.
Maybe it was time for her to seduce Ai-chan, as it seems like now would be a good time, or maybe she should wait for Ai-chan to attack her instead. But thinking about it clearly, Ai-chan making the first move may take forever for her to do so, so it would be better if she did it instead.

Risa got ready to sleep, her thoughts had tired her out and she didn't want to be late for practice. Yeah, that would be a great start, get Ai-chan mad at her, and on the day she planed to talk to her too, she thought sarcastically.
Risa smiled to herself, she prayed for her plan to be successful and that the gods were looking after her for tomorrow. She wanted Ai-chan, and hoped Ai-chan felt the same.

phew, finally got those out of the way.. now for things to actually happen =.="
like I said, first 3 chapters are fairly uninteresting, it's mainly an introduction

For the next chapter I'm trying to crank out words until it gets longer than chapter 2
omg, Mitsui's POV was so long =.="
did anybody notice that so far only 1 day has passed?

Well then.. until a few days later..
I'll get a new chap up soon I guess, for all those lurkers out there.. and few of them happen to be my friends too haha XD
 :byebye:

[Btw, Sayu said "Bye bye darling~" to Eri on one of the eps in 'Eric Kamezou no Maido ari', I get a lot of KameShige material from there lol ><]

Haha, mm.. school really takes up your time doesn't it??
Only during the day. Besides, it helps one appreciate the spare periods that much more. :)  Of course, it depends on the particular class that I have at the time. There are some that I can just leave completely alone because I can trust that they'll behave and get their work done. Then there are others where I have to constantly keep and eye on them to make sure they stay on task.

She likes Eririn and Reina, but what part of them is 'Princely', what in the world made her like them? Both of them were very cute for one; even if Reina had a slightly bad attitude and wonky eyes. And Eririn was even more girly than her - acting in that oh so cute way of hers - so absolutely nothing makes them her ideal prince and yet..
Oh....geez.

Oh...oh my. Somehow I expected this with Sayu. (I've really noticed how close she's been with Reina in the recent HM@s...) Goodness, there is indeed a major mess now in regards to the members. (Is Linlin gonna be involved too!? Aye...)

So let's chart this out. :D

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d12/animeobsesedmaniac/MorningMusumeLoveCircle.png

It's a bit big, so I didn't post it as an image. So...did I miss anything? :P (I only marked the ones we know for sure - no guesses.) And as for Gaki-san... Nothing ever goes as planned does it? V_V

Well considering I love almost any Eri-Pairing (XD I'm so bad) this is looking good to me. You've got a knack for this. ;) Keep writing~

 :err:  ......   :dizzy:

Longest chapter, and I think after this one it will take awhile before I can find time to write out the other chapter.
I still haven't written my personal statement.. and I'll be really screwed if I don't  :sweatdrop:
(plus I have things like grad boat cruise and such to worry bout T_T)

buuut~ I liked writing this chapter... I tend to like long chapters >< and I aim for my chapters to get longer and longer~

I see different people commenting now.. you guys have no clue how happy that makes me XD
@JFC: o.O" are you a teacher?!!? If you are then my writing may really seem like crap to you..  :on blackhole:

@ShikyoxYaiba: OMG!!  lol I was planning on doing that!! (a drawing that will forever remain incomplete..) ah but, there is one thing wrong with it, but other than it, it's perfect. if you move Michishige and Tanakacchi up and put Linlin in the bottom right corner.... haha.. I may have gave away too much.. nevermind, I guess you'll see

@shadowolf8:sweat: Haha.. don't worry.. to be perfectly honest while writing this I kept on counting the members to keep track right? When I was counting the point of views I was like.. "How come... I can only think of 8 members?!?!!?
...........
.......
....
 OMG LINLIN!!!"
It's cause she's rarely in fics I guess XD

@ringo-hime: haha yes evil Niigaki~ In my mind that girl is secretly evil~ and not as innocent as everyone thinks bwahaha

@WinterAir: thanks for reading!!! Ah, and I've seen you from H!O forums XD

=.=" that was long.. okay here it is!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 4

It was the start of a new day, and it began with Junjun being late, again. She quickly finished up her bowl of rice and raced off to the train station. There she caught the bullet train that transported her near the practice studio that Morning Musume went to. As she ran - her bag constantly falling off her shoulder while doing so - she saw somebody in a black hoodie run in the same direction as her.
Was that... Kamei-san? Figuring it would better if they both showed up late at the same time Junjun yelled out Kamei-san's name, causing the other girl to abruptly stop and squint at her.

"Oh, Junjun, you're late too?" she made it sound like this was perfectly normal and not an urgent situation. Junjun replied with a nod, her mind wasn't in the right mode to speak in Japanese, or more like, that part of her brain had yet to wake up and work.
When Junjun finally got to where Kamei-san was standing, they both resumed going in the direction they were headed except, now they were walking. Even though the back of her mind screamed at her and said 'the members are going to be mad!' Junjun ignored the thought, simply happy to actually spend some time with her senpai.

"You know what? I couldn't find my contacts, so now I'm going to be stuck with glasses for awhile. Do you think that's a good excuse for being late though? Thank gods it's only practice today, I don't want to have to wear my glasses...” Junjun only nodded as she listened to the girl beside her, she was secretly savouring the time she walked beside the shorter girl and would constantly sneak looks at their hands.
'She won't notice anything I don't think...'
"Ahhh~ Leader is gonna yell at us good today...” At that point Junjun snuck her hand in and grabbed Kamei-san's hand, it brought immense warmth to Junjun's body and she felt a large grin making its way to her face.
Kamei-san made a slightly confused face as if asking 'Why so suddenly?' but didn't bother to remove her hand and instead began to swing their intertwined hands in stride to their walking. This made Junjun forgive and forget everything about yesterday, so what if Kamei-san took Niigaki-san out for dinner? Friends do that all the time, there was no use thinking about it too deeply.

The dreaded door appeared after a few minutes of walking, funny, has it only been a few minutes? She stretched out her hand, almost reaching the doorknob before Kamei-san's hand shot out latched onto her outstretched arm, stopping it.
"Waaaaaait! I have to get ready for Ai-chan's yelling...” Kamei-san then began to do breathing exercises, oh my, how can anyone be so adorable? She looked like a little kid getting ready for her first day of school.
"Okay I'm ready, are you?" Junjun nodded, she stopped worrying a long time ago, ever since she met with Kamei-san in the first place. She didn't mind being yelled at since she earned herself some slight alone time with the other girl.
"Okay, re~ady and go." Kamei-san opened the door, as expected, all eyes had turned to them, and more than one pair of eyes appeared irritated.

'Why is Mitsui-san angry?'

Indeed, the usual Mitsui-san, whom was all smiles, appeared just as - if not more - irked as Takahashi-san.
"Can you explain why both of you are late?" It was a stern voice from their leader, she didn't raise it, she didn't need to, it was frightening enough. Both her and Kamei-san hung their head in shame and bowed deeply while apologizing showing that they were sorry. Everyone seemed satisfied except for Takahashi-san whom was going to protest until Niigaki-san put a hand on Takahashi-san's shoulder signalling to drop it. It seemed to work but Takahashi-san looked even angrier than before now.
Everyone just forgot about the subject afterwards and went into their dance formations, later on Takahashi-san soon forgot about it as well.

"Okay everyone, break time."
Groans echoed throughout the dance room; they had danced for over an hour now, everyone was glad for the break as they were all exhausted. Junjun looked over to Kamei-san wanting to see if they can eat lunch together, but Kamei-san was already dragging Niigaki-san out of the room. From the corner of her eye she saw Mitsui-san advance towards her.
"Mitsui~" A look of annoyance flickered on Mitsui-san's face but was quickly replaced with a mock smile as she faced towards the source of the voice, Kusumi-san.
"Junjun, can you come here for a second?"
What Kusumi-san wanted with Mitsui-san was not heard as their Leader called out to Junjun.

"Is there something wrong Takahashi-san?"
"Hmm," Takahashi-san seemed to think for a moment, putting her right hand under her chin and her other hand supporting her right arm, "I think your timing is a little off in Resonant Blue..." Junjun nodded along, she wasn't mad, she knew Leader just wanted everyone to be perfect and if anything, Takahashi-san was making time for Junjun, helping her with her dancing and all.
------------------------------

"Michishige-san, do you know where Junjun is?" Linlin wandered around with her lunch, wanting to eat with her Chinese counterpart but could not see her and asked the first person she saw.
"Um... I think I saw her in the dance room with Ai-chan." Linlin nodded in thanks and went off to find a table to eat at. She was slightly depressed and lonely but she knew things like these can't be helped. No matter how close she got along with the other members she still liked to stick close to Junjun. Linlin thought of Junjun as a sister and no matter how weird she acted, she didn't get weird looks from Junjun.

Junjun however, appears to want to stay further away from her because she hated always being grouped together as the 'Chinese girls', Junjun just wanted to be a Morning Musume member. Linlin understood the older girl's feelings and obliged to them, but because of that though, she felt as if she was slowly losing Junjun to the others.

'STOP' this whole thinking thing was depressing her, she looked around and saw the other members. She tried to distract herself from melancholy thoughts and eavesdropped on what the others were talking about.

"Mitsui, are you okay? You don't look so good...” Kusumi-san noted as she looked carefully at Mitsui-san's face. Linlin looked at the latter's face and found that it looked rather... irritated.
"I'm fine." and with that, ended all chance of a conversation, creating an awkward silence between the two. "I'm going to go practice." Mitsui-san announced suddenly, making her way to the dance room and leaving Kusumi-san by herself.

'Bad day for Mitsui-san maybe?' Linlin inquired; there was nothing else to see there anymore so she turned her attention to Tanaka-san and Michishige-san. They were sitting side by side and were silently eating their lunch. Both appeared to be thinking of something and both appeared to be looking at the same thing. Linlin tried to find what they were looking at and saw Kamei-san. She looked back at the solemn two and noted the expressions they wore. Tanaka-san looked frustrated whereas Michishige-san looked conflicted over something, like she was having an internal fight about something.
This was all very confusing to Linlin as she turned to Niigaki-san and Kamei-san; they appeared normal at least. Everyone, to the exception of those two, seemed very different today. And thinking about it logically, Linlin didn't really want to find out what was wrong, for the sake of avoiding trouble she was going to ignore it and let everyone figure out their own problems.
-----------------------------

Reina was getting irritated by the awkward silence that had came between the two and resolved to break it. "Sayu," she started, earning a look from the other girl, "we need to talk. Um... how about after practice?" Sayu looked very confused but nodded in agreement anyway.

'Good' she smiled to herself, 'I can finally get my plan moving'. Her first step was to eradicate any sort of competition so Reina can go after Eri with no worries, also she wanted to know Sayu's feelings for Eri because she didn't want to break her friendship with her. She snuck a look at Gaki-san; she was going to have to talk to Ai-chan for this one to go away. Speaking of which, she glanced around the area, where was Ai-chan anyway?
Well that didn't matter as she only wanted to deal with one person at a time, too many and she will get confused.

What in the world should she say to Ai-chan anyway? Well for starters, she should try to get a way for Ai-chan to express... well anything for that matter. Lately she has been very emotionless and her smiles or expressions always felt fake or practiced. She sighed; this was going to be hard...
"Reina?" the voice broke her out of her reverie, the tied up hair on the side of her head bobbed violently as her body jumped.
"Are you okay? You've been poking your food with a chopstick for a while now, and just now you sighed so suddenly." Sayu really did seem concerned; this once again reminded Reina why she wanted to keep her friend status with the narcissistic girl. Although all those things about Sayu saying how she's the cutest girl in the world has toned down substantially.

"Reina's fine, don't worry about Reina. If Reina was in some sort of trouble-"
"She will talk to Sayumi about it right?" cutting off Reina mid sentence and giving her an earnest smile, Reina couldn't help but smile and nod at the pigtailed girl in return. 'There are times where Sayu rivals Eri in cuteness isn't there...'

"Hey Reina... We should go back; I think break was long over..." Sayu looked nervously around them and saw no one. This raised a few alarms in both their heads.
"What?! Ah, you're right; Gaki-san and Eri are already gone! Let's go!"
-----------------------------------

Risa and Kame were doing the usual things during their break; talking about random things or switching the topic over to how great that restaurant they went to the day before was. All in all, it was the usual day for them, however; Risa remembered her plan from yesterday, causing the girl to suddenly stop smiling and furrowing her brow slightly in thought.

"Gaki-san? What are you thinking about? Care to share?" Risa stared up into those clear, innocent eyes, feeling slightly annoyed that she had to choose between two amazing girls. Maybe she should just go with Kame, since Ai-chan has been giving her nothing but worry lately. Kame is just fun to be around with. But, isn't that just running away from reality? Wasn't Kame just some sort of escape for her as she didnt't really want to deal with the possibility of a rejection. In a way, Kame was safe, and playing it safe was something Risa often did, but sometimes she would regret her decision when she found out what she could have gotten.

"Hello~ Earth to Gaki-san~" The taller of the two girls waved her hand in front of the other's face. Risa's mind was working on what to say; loving that goofy smile Kame seemed to wear.
Risa brought both hands together and held them in front of her face, bowing lightly, "Kame, I'm sorry, I can't go out with you today, I'm busy." The usually energetic girl seemed down after that, with a slight pout, Kame looked at Risa with puppy-dog eyes.
This initiated a groan from the other girl, "Kame~ even if you do that I won't change my mind!" she stated with a slight irritancy in her voice.
"Haha, I know, just wanted to try anyway~"
'Geez this girl' in reality, that look Kame gave Risa just then almost made her change her plans completely. Perseverance was key she supposed, and she needed a lot of 'cute-ness tolerance' when dealing with the turtle.

"Hmm, should we head back now? We wouldn't want Ai-chan to yell at us for taking such a long break now do we?" Risa half asked, it wasn't all that much of a question as it was a statement.
They both agreed that now would be a good time to head back, so they got out of their seats, linked arms and skipped to the practice room. They completely did not realize that Tanakacchi and Sayu were still there talking.

During practice Ai-chan would occasionally get in front of Risa. 'It's only practice but she still takes it so seriously...’ and what was more, a seriously dancing Ai-chan meant a lot of sexy movements. Risa's eyes would frequently drift down, mesmerized by the motion of the shorter girl's hips as they swayed to the beat of the music. What in the world was wrong with her? It was like her hormones were going insane lately.
"Okay everyone, good work, and Junjun good job!" Everyone followed their leader's example and yelled just about the same thing; Risa yelled it the loudest while picking up her stuff and rushing out the door.
"Where is she going?" She heard somebody ask through the door.
"She's busy; she has to go do something." Kame had answered.

Whatever was after that she did not hear because she quickly scanned the area and found a room. Not really caring what room it was she slipped in and turned on the lights. It was a storage room, many things were cluttered everywhere that where she was standing was the only spot you could actually stand on.
'It's like Kame's room...'
She turned the lights off and had the door opened a little bit, just enough for her to see through one eye, it creaked as she did so. She was waiting for the other members to go by, hopefully leaving one specific girl alone in the room. The doorknob of the practice room turned and the other members filed out. When she was sure they went outside of the building she came out of her hiding place and calmly walked up to the room everyone was just in.

Quietly, she turned the knob and let herself in, locking the door silently. The other girl was busy practicing still and did not notice her presence. She softly put her bags down and readied herself. Aside from the steps of the short girl, the room was silent; she breathed in slowly. The words that came out were sudden and startling, breaking the tranquility of the room.

"Ai-chan..."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

YAY CLIFF HANGER~ lol! for once I'm not pounding my head against my desk because of one!!  :kekeke:

My favourite line in that whole chap
'It's like Kame's room...'
I've been wanting to see her room ever since I heard about the 'Find Waldo: Kame ver~' type thing from the Hawaii tour ><

Oh.. and I think now would be a good time to ask if you guys find anything odd
Just a hint to how I write; even though I write with like zero plan in mind, everything I write somehow ties in with things later on, so nothing is useless!!.
(I'm in like an IB Art class so it's been drilled in me to connect everything)
I am trying to resolve that last person tho.. cuz if everyone pairs together it leaves one person right?? Damn uneven numbers..
I kinda know what to do tho.. and I've written what my plan is in this chapter >< its veeeeery subtle.. ah, but that's not the only oddity
 :hee:
Oh well, until next update then!!
