An alright episode, it didn't really feel like a New Years special. Machamacha seems funnier when off her usual character, for some reason I laughed when she asked about Makoto.

And lol @ Kame's trick. While it's impressive... it's even more impressive that she doesn't know the secret herself!

^^ I was thinking about the hm situation. They may have a note that it was recorded before the incident or even have a few second long condolences message. They could also hurry to throw together some alternate material they had lying around in place of anything significant that hitomi appears in.
