WOW! So much talk about the drums and shizz when the girls were smoking hot with soooo much abs & legs and even butt shot close up? I don't know where I landed, but I don't think I'm in jphip anymore
I know NOTHING about the drumming, I think its cool, love the dedication and the fresh it brings, but thats as far as I can go in this convo. I can however say OMG THEY ARE SO DAMN SEXY!!!!!!!!! UEE was owning that catwalk, and I guess with those legs I'd expect nothing less, and Gahee (yes I don't call her Kahi) looked so gorgeous
My heart still lies entirely with Bekah though, OMG her hair was awesome & she's soooo cute I love her backing rap, she did a great job with the lyrics & the flow!
I loooove the black concept of the other girls & over that too, but this is a different kind of sexy, its ASS style Really excited to see more of the dance coz some parts were meh and others looked really interesting. Can't wait to see Umma & Appa drumming away either

I like the video but wish their had been more intense dancing, more drum scenes, less catwalk, less tacky satin costumes. It is a fun B or B- but it could have been an ace if they'd had a better director.

I am so confused with this Lizzy business--she's in, but she's not *really* in, she's just a replacement if UEE can't make it to a performance...? They really needed to add her? They already have Nana and Juyeon who barely have any lines, so why couldn't they have just had them do the parts? UEE doesn't get a lot of lines, anyway...

I think the only reason they aren't going all out with Lizzy right now is simply because AS has been practicing their drumming since October, so unless Lizzy has been kept under wraps and practicing with them for that long it would be impossible for her to catch up at this point.

I really like this drumming concept. To see a group with actual instruments in hands that they had to learn how to play is pretty amazing in k-pop, from what I've seen anyway. That aside, the song is... Well, it might as well be considered an instrumental. Didn't really have singing as such. I suppose that justifies the length of the song though.

I watched 'Bang!' because of various people commenting on how amazingly hot it is. I'll give 'em that - hot with a nice flavour, but the first thing I that went through like an echo in my mind was why the bloody hell are there half naked children there!? The MV would've been quite faptastic without them, but now I see the kids and realise I'd feel guilty and wrong for thinking that way. Anyway, the song was perhaps pretty hard hitting. Although my ears just didn't want to accept it. Those breaks in the flow of the music kept putting me off and I found myself asking, "You're badass, I get that, but why are you badass, honestly?" Some things can never be explained.

In other news, I don't remember AS being so hot. What happened?

They have full battery going in LDI.  So bass drums, snares, cymbals, and quad-toms at the least. I'm all  over how they were playing on real snares for the recording but are on tenor drums in the MV. Lol, silly Pledis, don't you know that no one plays single tenor drums in drumline anymore? 


Fucking BASS DRUMS need more love, people! Snares and quads are pretty, but listen to that shit by the bass drums and try to imagine playing one of the basses on that part!

I am seriously impressed with how fast Kahi was playing, and how Jung Ah could do the spin and some juggling while drumming! haha.. and i just knew that she had to do something dorky at the end! with her signature peace sign! ha!  i am so proud of omma! that mushroom just wow-ed me with her juggling skills. LOL.


I read somewhere Kahi wrote the lyrics for BANG! and since With U is a cover, she's the one who wrote the korean lyrics,
Bekah wrote the rap for BANG!

this was an awesome comeback. i always knew gahee was a good singer but she totally killed the bridge along with raina (in a good way ). im so glad nana is getting shown more this promotion because she got hidden a lot during because of you. and you can tell that it is choreographed in a way that uee can miss performances. 3/4 of the song she is in the middle back hidden by the center person so if you were to take her out...their formations are completely the same. the way she switches with lizzy for her one solo part makes it seems like lizzy will be singing uee's part but you never know...i hope nana gets it haha. and beckah is always fierce.

Bang is a little weird live, then again its always a little weird, but the crowd seemed to be crazy into it Bekah always gets more and more fierce as the promotions go on so can't wait to see that and I've missed her thighs

I know, right? The only explanation I can think of is that real snares would require a harness that would cover up the midriff.  Well, that and real snares cost too much. Those tenor drums sounded pretty shitty in the waiting room interview, so I bet those were the absolute cheapest that the company could afford, and I bet they were still at the very least $150 a drum. I don't blame them, they had to pay for private and group lessons for at least three months. They also spent at least $250 bucks to get sticks, tape, and practice pads for all of the girls, and that's assuming that they've all been using the same two pairs of sticks for all five months.

I wonder exactly how boring the American choreography was for them to decide to make their own. Bang's dance was...full of easy-to-remember moves, to say the least.

I think the girls landed on Horrible week for a comeback. First they canceled Music Core for a Baseball game. Now no Inkigayo. cuz of :

They have practiced really hard, and they probably expected end the comeback week with a BANG! on Inkigayo. I think they saved the pink outfit for this weekend.
Next week will be Rain & Hyori's return? Which will take away from their comeback =(


After School will be like G-Dragon & 2NE1 this Week and only do 1 Music Show per Week lol. They're a Hot Commodity with Rare performances haha.
