I come here for only one reason, not to intrude on your community, not to flaunt, not for anything.

I come to apologize.

Call me an idiot, call me whatever you want, but, I had no idea there were more communities out there than H!O, that is why when Bryan said what he said, I did not say something along the lines of "what about other forums". That is my failure to you and your community.

Let it be known though, I did not go out searching for this, I was not even expecting this, and I don't think anything will come of this. Bryan said something, and it was passed on from there.

Also, it was posted previously that someone thought we were getting something free. That is not the case, Bryan told me we would have to buy our tickets still. There was never an offer for free concert tickets.

As for the not letting new members in thing, yeah, that IS the case. We decided that people who created just to get special seating (Who knows what that even means? I am under the impression bryan was just trying to get a section where members of our community could sit together, I am not under the impression he was trying to get us better seats than anyone else, they may not even be good seats, who knows?), and were not an actual part of the community should not be involved. No matter what, this would be a limited supply thing, and my intent by making it so people who just created cant get on that list was just to keep the list from getting too big. I don't believe in taking advantage of someone's kindness that much, it's not right. As far as I am concerned, I will be waiting in line just like everyone else, probably. I have every intention of getting the best seat I can get and paying for it.

All that said, I would like to invite the members of jph!p to an after party after the concert. I will be organizing it, it is open to all H!P fans, that's what the members of H!O decided, there would be no charge, and we would not stop anyone from entering.

It's up to you guys if you want to join us or not :)

Once again, though, I apologize.

And now, I duck out of your community, sorry to intrude on you.

eojjeorago, Thank you.

This was stand up and cool as all get out, as the big mouth of the situation ( self appointed )
I want to let you know, that I dont think we thought you guys we're getting free tickets so much as you would get better seating.
Because my brain equated priority with like top notch stuff, I know what tweaked my cookie was the feeling of possible preferential treatment, because ya'll had and "in", but, I see bryans deal as a cool thing.

I figure he should possibly have stated it as forum users would get priority seating, this way the large group us forum members will be creating, will be easier to manage.

I know I am not so much mad and I know that jpm and jphip are all for us going as one collective Morning Musume fan group.

I have to say thanks for your post, I am sure the others will be just as cool, cause stuff can get blown up on da webz, and it's all good in da hood!

as the big mouth of jpm, I shall pass on your news. shall this be one epic mind blowing event to make all the otakus, envy us.

Dear eojjeorago,

Let me just say I am deeply touched by your efforts to reach out and clear any misunderstandings. As Sayachan eluded to, our only real concern was a special priority seating which might deny other fans an opportunity for good seats. I'm am happy to know that wasn't the case. I apologize as well for my knee-jerk reactions and misunderstandings.
And I would be honored to attend your party. Thank you for the invitation.

Let's all have a great experience at this event, and represent american and non-japanese fans well. And maybe encourage more H!P acts to come over.

Thank you for your efforts, eojjeorago.

I'm cool with being JPH!P property XD The questions so far are pretty good, although I don't think they could answer why there is sudden interest in expanding outside of asia - I don't think they're actually privy to that knowledge. They're kind of like soldiers, they just go where UFA tells them.

It's going to be a pretty softball-sort of interview - as an example question, I'm for sure going to ask "Now that the EC have graduated this year, what do you want the image for MM and H!P to be going forward?" Something like that anyway. That's easy for them, since Ai is the leader and that's a REALLY typical question that I'm sure they've answered before.

So think of easy stuff. I will also ask them how they feel about the worldwide fan communities. I will ALSO ask them, if I can, if they have any thoughts about the cosplay/fan singing groups that have popped up. I won't mention O!P specifically, cause I can't, but....

i wonder if there will be a lot of H!P cosplay for this event.

I have a couple of softball questions to ask:

Were there any special preparations or instructions for your trip the US?
Are there any plans for new additions to MM? Like say...American members (lol)?
Will other H!P acts be making it to our shores?
Is there anything special you wanted to do here while you're in California?

Eojjeorago,

Thank you for your consideration and kind words, it was very big of you. As Sayah and Jab have already said, many of us were more concerned about H!O being given the special privilege of BETTER seats, not free. It had occurred to me later that just because Bryan was helping you didn't mean he was screwing the rest of us over. We at JPH!P just want to have a good time, see Morning Musume, and have the opportunity to have our questions asked and merch signed. I know this is H!O's and the other fan forums' goal as well as ours and there is no reason why we cannot set aside past grievances or squabbles in order to work together during this (so far) once in a lifetime event.

Again, thank you for clearing up our misunderstandings and we apologize for our reactions and things we may have said in and out of this thread. Let's all have fun and enjoy this experience together!

Figured I'd let you guys know

Quote
I am NOT trying to give H!O special treatment, they were just the first group that I was aware of when looking through this thread. All I'm currently trying to set up is a "group buy" system so that fans from various fanclubs can be seated together. On top of that, they'll be getting their tickets from the "Reserved Seating" section, so individual fans not part of a fanclub can still get good seats.

As of this post I have NOT offered H!O anything, and once the logistics are worked out, I'll be making an official announcement of some kind. There's no way I or AX staff would want to give special consideration to some fans but not to others.

BryanY said this on AX forums, him and I talked more about it in private, because we both felt this was both of our problem, so, now a public announcement has been made directed at the other forum communities :)

As far as what I did, no need to thank me guys, it was what needed to be done. I don't like to see animosity, and I definitely didn't want to see an internet war. We are all H!P fans, so, there's no reason we all shouldn't be able to interact :)

So there you guys go, an announcement from myself, and one from bryan ^_^

Thanks for your civility and kindness, eojjeorago.  Now that this has pretty much been settled, lets put all this drama behind us, and focus on something i think may have gotten lost here:

All that said, I would like to invite the members of jph!p to an after party after the concert. I will be organizing it, it is open to all H!P fans, that's what the members of H!O decided, there would be no charge, and we would not stop anyone from entering.

Now *this* is what I'm talkin about...  one big H!P lovefest for everyone.  Now's the time to shed our online boarders and come together, one big rainbow coalition of H!P fandom.  JPM, mmbbs, H!O, JPHiP, all together, forgetting any differences and past arguments to celebrate this huge event.

I'm no voice of power here at jphip, but I suggest that representatives from each forum get together to plan something like this.  That's just my US$0.02.

Well officially, currently, I am not a representitive of H!O, I am just someone who was in the right place at the right time? The party is co being planned by myself and iceymoon of jpm.I am hoping to bring staff of both forums in on it, right now, all expenses for said party are coming from my pocket. It's worth it, for everyone to have fun, but it's still not cheap hehe :)

I will go ahead and post here when we have more information about the after party, too~

As an aside, I know that some people at Otakon got to perform for AAA when they were there - they did this by speaking to their manager at the signing (I think, I will have to double check this).

Would anyone like to try to get that for MM? I'd suggest someone well-spoken, preferably female (Male wota are SUPER scary, yo), who dresses normally XD You'd have to ask the manager in private, as a public asking will almost certainly result in a no. But hey - they did it for AAA, why not MM?

I apologize once more, at first I said the party was being run by H!O and H!O members decided we wanted everyone but the fact is. Iceymoon (who is spearheading this, I am just helping her with it) Posted simultaneously on jpm and H!O, so this party truly is outside of forum constraints, hehe. If anyone from jphp would like to help us arranging it just tell one of us!

okay, some more shit on hotels.

I booked my hotel today. Here is a link to the hotel I booked: Mayfair Hotel. It's about a 20-30 minute walk from the con, and is the cheapest I could find on Hotels.com. Its not the nicest hotel, but I don't really care about that lol. If you book a single or double room, its $77/night, plus taxes. Our room is splitting three ways so it comes out to one payment of $87 per person. If you get 4 people its $65 and change per person (our room has a reserved spot for a 4th person should they need it, so dont ask XD). I would suggest you book the room with at most 2 people, and just sneak the 3rd and/or 4th person into the room later. Just make sure you dont have the whole group with you when you check in lol. If you're all ethical and shit, you can book for more people and itll obviously get more expensive, lol. Anyway, that link should take you to the page with the different rooms available for "2" people from thursday-sunday with the their prices. There's a thing up in the right corner to change number of people and stuff. Let me know if you decide to book at this hotel, and we can all walk over to the con together in the mornings :D

besides that, I would suggest using hotels.com to find a hotel if you dont like that one. just search for hotels near the Los Angeles Convention Center and decide on w/e criteria is most important to you. I went with price (obviously) and proximity, as I wanted to walk (no way I'm paying parking fees for 4 days at the con).

Also, if people have questions on stuff, you can get me on AIM or MSN, just click the little links under my ava over there <---  or find me on our irc chan.

Hey Eojjeorago. I'd like to apologize myself for jumping the gun earlier since I had not known about the situation. I think I was the one who mentioned "free", but I was referring to the non-reserved seating haha, sorry about that. I'm honestly really glad to see what's developing right now. Being able to bring all the H!P fans together would be a wonderful experience to share the rest of you. Thanks for clearing things up, I appreciate it.

I was also checking hotels.com and aside from the Mayfair, there's also the Ritz Milner that's just a little closer to the con, but $3 more. I'm currently discussing this with a friend of mine on which one we'd take. We might be open to splitting the room as well. I personally don't care, but I haven't asked for his opinion yet.

Welcome to the JPH!P Forum eojjeorago.

And as my homies said, we applaud you for being stand up. Owning it whatever right away instead of hiding.

It should be that way, every fan getting equal opportunity to the concert, meeting the girls. The passion we have for Morning Musume is universal. So break down these walls of internet forums and LET'S HAVE A GREAT TIME!

We have excellent representation from front to back, that is what the JPH!P community is all about, accepting all walks of life - no matter race, sex, orientation, alien, new, or old.

Absolutely we'd love to chip in/help out/DJ/provide strippers to the After Party. I can be reached at our IRC channel, by PM, and all sorts of IMs (just check my profile).

You are welcome whenever, wherever at this place known as JPH!P, eojjeorago. I look forward to meeting you in person!

LOL, okay. Change in plans. I'm booking the hotel that's closest to the con site, pretty much right down the street. I checked the O Hotel site (http://www.ohotelgroup.com/) and for a discounted price you can just do full payment in advanced. Not like I'm gonna cancel so I don't mind. Rate's at $106 and totals at $363, but at least it being close and good quality makes up for it.
