doesnt help that axe and tag smell like vomit mixed with seltzer. I think anytime you get THAT many people in one place, in the middle of the summer, in southern CA, its going to smell like satan's ass. while im not trying to defend 'unwashed masses' i am trying to say cut people a break.

I cosplayed before, and it was pretty fun...if you hang with the right people. Just be wary of the overly happy fangirl/fanboys.

I never noticed the small AS MUCH unless I was in a mass hoard of people waiting for something... (My interest in anime plummeted after I discovered H!P. I mean, really...which looks more appealing? In more ways than one.

...I had the strangest dream today when I fell asleep in my English class. I dreamt that it was AX, and that someone brought speakers, blasting some H!P music... Everyone converged by they dude with the speakers and we all started dancing to Go Girl! ~Koi no Victory~. o__O;; School is obviously screwing with my brain...

Don't worry Shikyo, I've had weirder dreams. Like having Morning Musume come to my school and suddenly we're all dancing to The Peace!...yeah. >_> And then it de-evolved into a mystery/action thriller of an adventure story afterwards. o_O I think H!P takes over the brain...

Never cosplayed before myself, but really, I've only been to local cons that are pretty small and such, and the anime fans here are generally less weird, and the cosplay is actually pretty good, and not stinky.

The coolest one I ever saw was a miniature Gundam cosplayer. Like, the machine, not the characters. It was totally awesome, looks so real. But yeah, I haven't been keeping up with the latest anime...I guess I'll just stick with all the other H!P fans.

We should totally blast H!P music and see what happens.

If I get speakers before the con, I'm totally gonna do that. I'm willing to blast some H!P music and find followers. (Last year someone did it with Caramelldansen and we had a whole 2 hour long parade around the center. o_O) I doubt I'll be able to do it, though. First off, I don't have speakers...yet. That, and there's probably no way my dad would approve of me bringing them if I did have them... Someone do it please? I'll totally come along and start (fail) dancing.

Ah, there was a really cool gumdam cosplayer last year, too... And there was also some guy who dressed up as someone from a videogame that I know... I just don't know it well.

It was either from Halo or... Whatever that game is with Samus in it. They had lights and all this other cool stuff, too.

im sorry if I offended you ten. I just am so weird about smell, and when I am hyped up I cannot hold my tongue.
all i know is I can tend to be harsh, but I may carry something to kill any seriously nasty smells, or at least try, cause im afraind I might hurl or pass out.

I think the whole con smell thing has been blown ~~so out of proportion that it's older than a rickroll at this point~~ slightly out of proportion in this thread. Yes, there's going to be a few people who are not going to be a bed of roses, but it won't be every cosplayer or every non-jpop loving con goer. Aside from that, most of those people won't have any interest in Morning Musume anyway, so there shouldn't he a tremendous instance of "con funk" at the Morning Musume events anyway.

I know that it must be a bitch and a half to schedule all this stuff for such a huge convention, but they could at least specify the days shit's going to go down. I mean it's fine with me since I'm going to and will enjoy the whole con, but I know many people are coming just for MM, and it's hard to plan with no info.
