So, word is that Morning Musume will be arriving on the flight JL062 at 11:20 this morning. Since the ticket offices aren't open on day 0 until 4:00 pm (I think you can still get your badges earlier though), is anyone going to try to greet them at the airport?

you dont need to get tickets early since there wont be any assigned seating for the concert. just line up early for the concert on the third. you still have to pick up tickets and badges obviously, so feel free to still get them early if you want (it saves time later, of course). like i said, main jph!p party will be there in the later afternoon, most likely.

Pretty much confirmed the 11:20 MM arrival @ LAX. Friend got call from his buddies in Japan that the girls are on the same flight as them. Hopefully more people will show. Give 'em a nice warm welcome . :3

Got some bad news for those who didn't expect assigned seating. While it's true there isn't assigned seats, there is assigned rows and sections. Me and Rena got a reasonably good seat and we were close to the middle of the huge line. It didn't seem like many of the general population was into Morning Musume. But yeah, that's how it ended up being. We also saw some Japanese wota doing their bizarre moves. I also have to say that this con is absolutely HORRIBLE at their organizing, planning, and line management. Apparently their computer system didn't work at first causing an hour delay, leaving us out in the baking sun. A lot of people were getting beet red by the time we got in. Then, as we lined up for tickets to the events, we had a good line in the shade, which was shifted over to the rails ONCE AGAIN IN THE SUN.

Seriously, I understand we might have been blocking some fire exit next to the wall, but they could have at LEAST let us stay in the shade. >_> Lesson learned, me and Rena will be smelling like cheap sunscreen every day from now on. Maybe JunJun will get intoxicated.

I'm here in LA, staying with family. My sister told me that it's about 15min drive from here to LACC. I'm planning on arriving at the AX around 7-8am, line up and get my badge and hoping to get those momusu tickets, too. and my younger sister wanna go, too.
I really hope there still some tickets left for me and my sis. how many tickets are there and are there any left? It's really important.

btw, I just got back from walking around Lil tokyo at 4-7 pm. I saw a couple of people that could be AX attendee as well. I heard some talking about it and some even look dressed up. I even saw one guy with a AX badge! They were hanging out at the water well at the center. It was pretty cool. I also went into this anime/manga store, Jungle(?) and saw some pretty kool stuff. ate some pretty good japanese food, ate @ Zencu, mochi green tea ice cream, and takoyaki. Takoyaki wasn't what I had expected, but not bad. I want to see how others make it as well.

I see it's pretty quiet here.

Hopefully that means everyone's having fun in LA! I'll be joining y'all tomorrow... Won't get a great ticket I guess, but oh well.

Mostly I was hoping to sit with you guys or something.

Also, something I meant to mention a long time ago... A Japanese friend I made over there during the past year used to be a pretty big MM fan, but is too embarrassed about it any longer...

Anyway, because of that, she gave me a bunch of old photos and cards, mostly from around the time 5th gen joined or earlier. Now, since I'm not as big a fan of those Elder Clubbers, who are in most of the pictures, I thought I'd give a good amount of them away to other fans who might enjoy them a lot more when we meet up at AX. So if you run into me, I'll try to have them with me to hand out if anyone's interested.

Anyway, I suppose it's sign-off time for me to try and get a bit of shut-eye at least before the early flight in the morning. See you all there!

I think really, the list of people wanting to interview was quite big and there wasn't enough time or something so pretty much only a few random ones got chosen. Tenkei will post eventually lol.
