Looks like Djokovic did.... I woke up this morning and check the scores and was like...

But then again, the Aussie open has done that to me a few times this year. First with Henin, then with Nadal, and now Federer...

With Henin out, I'm cheering Ana FTW! On the guys side, I'll go for the underdog, simply because (Nothing against Novak).

Williams sisters, Davenport, Blake named to Olympic team

WIMBLEDON, England -- Former gold medalists Venus and Serena Williams are expected to play both singles and doubles for the Olympic team announced Wednesday by the U.S. Tennis Association.

The nine-member team also includes Lindsay Davenport, who won a gold medal in singles at the 1996 Games. She'll play singles and has been nominated for doubles with Liezel Huber, ranked No. 1 in the world in doubles.

I caught Andy Murray's resurrection to win the match on Monday there and really enjoyed it. Been watching tennis matches since then, and have to say I've really enjoyed it. Just finished watching Nadal outclass Murray there. He's an absolute powerhouse, and naturally, the better man won. So much for so called tennis 'experts' including Tim Henman that claimed that Murray is the 'new king of center court' and that he would outclass Nadal

Venus beats Serena for her fifth Wimbledon title

WIMBLEDON, England -- Venus Williams beat her sister Serena Williams 7-5, 6-4 Saturday to win her fifth Wimbledon title and seventh Grand Slam championship.

It was Venus' first win over her younger sibling in a Grand Slam final since the 2001 U.S. Open, and evened their career record at 8-8.

I'm not one for tennis but yeah the Venus and Serena match was awesome. And today's match was also good. I didn't see much just the first half of it but yeah great matches all around.

Nadal vs Federer was an awesome match. I was rooting for Federer and he might have been able to do it. But oh well...Nadal deserves it, I hope Federer takes the French and Wimbledon next year xD.
