Your BrainHex Class is Seeker.
Your BrainHex Sub-Class is Seeker-Conqueror.

You like finding strange and wonderful things or finding familiar things as well as defeating impossibly difficult foes, struggling until you eventually achieve victory, and beating other players.

According to your results, there are few play experiences that you strongly dislike.

Learn more about your classes and exceptions at BrainHex.com.

Your scores for each of the classes in this test were as follows:

Seeker: 19
Conqueror: 18
Survivor: 16
Achiever: 11
Mastermind: 10
Daredevil: 6
Socialiser: 6

I suppose this is accurate, I get lost in the scenery or doing random things cause I want to see if I'll get anything out of it and watch every cutscene again and again cause I like the graphics a lot and to see if I miss anything, plus I always do the side quests at the end before the major boss battle.

But what the sub group for me makes more sense cause I get way to worked up if I something frustrates me in the game and I get waaaaaay to excited if I beat something after awhile.

Oh good lord. Has anyone else seen the weapon skin content they have for Gears 3? They're selling weapon skins as DLC. 240 points for one. $3!! For one! And none of them are unlocked when you buy the Season Pass! To me, this is actually worse than the famous Horse Armor for Oblivion cause at least that was actual DLC and not on a disk already where you're buying the pass for. I know micro transactions have been around for a long time now, but games that do use it like free to play MMO's or Team Fortress 2 are at least justified, because they're free to play, and all that stuff is there for you should you want it. But this is not the case, when you already pay full retail price in the first case. Had this been 5 years ago, all that shit would be earned when you progress through the game. And this will appear in other games in the future, believe me. Ultimately it won't affect me cause I'd never, ever pay for something as pointless as weapon camos/skins, I just don't agree with the principle is all.

TGS trailer showing the Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright 3DS game. 3D Phoenix! :D

Also it's been confirmed, something The World Ends With You related is being worked on:

Quote
Kingdom Hearts main man Tetsuya Nomura has hinted at a sequel to cult classic 2008 Nintendo DS game The World Ends With You.

Neku, the main character from the quirky role-playing game, makes a cameo appearance in the Tokyo Game Show trailer for Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, and Nomura told Japanese magazine Famitsu (via Andriasang) something TWEWY related is being worked on.

Nomura added that Neku's appearance could be taken as notice of something to come, but he didn't use the word "sequel".

Please just give me a sequel. Same gameplay, new story, new soundtrack. I'd be completely cool with that.

Where do they find these people?!

Quote
Some video gamers are so immersed in their virtual world they end up trying to use gaming experiences in real life, according to researchers.

A study spoke to 15 to 21 year olds and discovered some gamers end up doing things like reaching for a search button to find someone in a real crowd.

Others had tried to use a 'gravity gun' to pick up food.

Almost all of the 42 people questioned reported some type of Games Transfer Phenomena (GTP) to varying degrees.

Half of those questioned said they often try to resolve real life issues using something from a game.

Professor Mark Griffiths, one of the report's authors at Nottingham Trent University said intensive gaming may lead to psychological and emotional problems adding that there will be "enormous implications for software developers, parents, policy makers and mental health professionals."

The research will be followed up with a study of a much larger number of gamers.

Seriously, who attempts to click on a search button in a real crowd?! XD XD XD

My favourites:

Quote
Grand Theft Auto 4 came out and I got it for my birthday. I was playing it for about 15 days straight. I came home from school and I would just play it constantly. I went outside one day and I had this sudden urge to punch everyone and steal all their money and cars and stuff.

I bet you did!! I'm absolutely sure it's not down to the fact that your body and mind is predisposed to violent tendancies in the first place.

Quote
I was badly addicted to GTA and people would ask me what I did today, I would think I've been out but I've been sat in at home.

You know, I thought of that at first, but then thought, "Oh wait. No, because that would be really fucking stupid"

You know I've often thought, 'It would be cool to be able to do that' or 'I wish I had that power so I could do this in real life'. But never at any stage have I said 'Need to get something to eat, better equip my gravity gun' and wonder why it's not working.

But GTA was a popular game years ago. Now it's... Modern Warfare and Gears of War.... ouch~ :sweatdrop:

On the other hand, I bet a lot of Mario gamers have an urge to jump on top of things they don't like.
Argh, bills! {stomp stomp stomp}
Or headbutting walls when they have no cash. :banghead:

Mario is like the VR you never knew.

I've actually felt that Games Transfer Phenomena thing. Play Burnout for a few hours then go driving immediately afterwards = urge to drive fast, weave through traffic much more aggressively than usual, getting ideas to thread the needle ect. lol

There were also some guys at a friends wedding last summer who were Call of Duty nuts. We wanted to get a pickup basketball game going while we were hanging out at the hotel but half the guys wanted to just play xbox/COD the WHOLE time. WHAT THE HECK! -___-

Heh, at least you don't get the urge to crash your car into heavy traffic just to see how much damage you can score. At least I hope not...

No kidding, about 90% of my online friends are playing GOW3. Except for pika on Sky and coachie on Bastion

I checked my rep for the first time in a long time. 54% avoided me. 12% voted me for Aggressive or Quit Early behaviour while 35% went for Unsporting! Has to be all those FFA matches I win in COD and the butt hurt tweens bitching about me hoping I get banned. One guy this week accused me of auto aim

Finally, we get to see some gameplay. Looks really good.  :yep:  Another reason why I should get a 3DS.

I wonder if there'll be some special cameos (like Larry Butz, Lotta Hart, Blue Badger, Wendy Oldbag, Don Paolo, Flora, Inspector Chelmey, etc)

I'm still waiting until Capcom localizes the Miles Edgeworth 2 game. My collection is not whole without it.  :(

In the meantime, I'll wait until Professor Layton & The Last Specter comes out next month. After that need to watch The Eternal Diva movie.

Finished Portal 2 SP and either I've become the Portal supercrack (I doubt it) or the game was much easier than Portal Still Alive, at least it felt easier to me  :)

I cancelled my online pre-order for Saints Row 3. The pain...
I wasn't charged for it yet, which I guess was a good thing, but seeing as though there's still two months to go, I didn't know how much money would be remaining in my account by then. Better to be safe than sorry.

Saints Row will still be #1 on my list. Then AC Revelations, Skyward Sword, and WWE '12.
I'm going crazy thinking of these games.

I don't think I've ever pre-ordered a game. :P Actually I did one time. It was a long time ago, Halo 2 or San Andreas or something and I had to go off to the side and wait like 15 min while they sorted out a problem with the pre-orders. Meantime like 10 people just walked in and bought it so I was like F this. It's just an extra hassle and it's not like they are gonna run out of copies. Even games with small production runs like Yakuza I've always found plenty.

Heck I rarely pay full price for games as it is. I can usually wait a few weeks/months when the price drops by half or more, rather than pay full price and maybe get a pre-order game item or skin from Gamestop. Or if I NEEEED IT NOWWWWW just go wherever there is a incentive that week and maybe get a $20 gift card at walmart/best buy/toys r us/k mart/target ect.
