Saw "RE5: Alternative Edition" for PS3 on sale today. They were selling it around the same price as RE5.
But I went and bought MAG instead.

I need to figure out Alternative or Gold... and future motion control support... all that stuff before deciding. It's getting so complicated~

Lost in Nightmares is short, but SWEET.

And I have way too much fun playing Barry in Mercs, Excella's gun critical rate is pretty insane too, quite easy to score high.

the gold edition will be the game with probably the redeemable codes to get the extra costumes and 2 bonus levels

It's only easy to score high because of the amount of mini bosses the game tosses at you.

Also, Jill's gun, the Px4 is the ONLY gun to have an extremely high critical chance of headshots at 87.5%. Excella uses the M93R which doesn't have any special attributes (though it does have the DEFAULT chance of a critical hit), but that coupled with 3 round bursts makes it seem like it has a high %.

I think they'll let them for Resident Evil 6.
As I really hope for it to be with Leon and Claire, they work so good together, RE2 and the animated RE movie. (And Darkside Chronicles).

As for Lost in Nightmares, I'll have to wait. My game is japanese and somehow the DLC hasn't shown up in the japanese store ...
