Woah. This was a big surprise when I found it, but Sonic Adventure is out on Xbox Live Arcade. The full game. Right now. Might download it again just to raise some Chao! I'd probably hate the Big the Cat missions as much as I did back then!

You didn't know? a bunch of Dreamcast games are coming out on 360~!
The next one to be released is Crazy Taxi, the others haven't been annouced yet, but Virtual On is already out for a year and SF3:3rd Strike is upcoming too~!

And yeah I've been playing it all morning, I can't believe people are giving it bad reviews!!! (IGN gave it 3.5/10)

Maybe I'm just really good at it, but I see no fault with the controls, the camera is fine once you're used to it and what....?! WHAT!? people are actually criticising the MUSIC!? excuse me!? Like, have you played speed highway? red mountain? THIS GAME HAS THE THEME OF BIG THE CAT IN IT. HOW CAN IT HAVE BAD MUSIC!?

It uses the Gamecube graphics, so it both looks better and worse than the Dreamcast version at the same time, lol.
Chao are using the GC system I think, so you can level up their stats just with the animals since there's no VMU, and the black market is already there, I think you buy stuff with rings but I haven't been in yet, lol.

The achievements will take a long while too! one of them is for all 130 emblems, haha.

Oh I knew some DC games were coming out but never realised it was this soon!

Music in it was great! What's their problem?!

Might just get it after all and get my nostalgia on.

HELL YES!!! I'm so getting this now! I can't wait to use Gamma and Big again. Also I agree with you on that Pika. This game has the best music. I used to spend a lot of time in the Casino level playing Nights Pinball.

hahaha I got the trial game, watched the intro and when that opening song kicked in I got this wave of nostalgia and was like 'FUCK YEH!!'

Still plays well, I don't have a problem with controls.

Yeh I'm gonna get it, my nephew's gonna love it too, I can tell. Play as Sonic, Knuckles and a robot?! He'll flip out

Might just play it with him when he comes to visit.

I doubt I'll have the patience to get all the emblems. I'm like to hell with the chao races. Also that sucks the Metal Sonic add ons are 400 points. I just finished Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. I like listening to Tails ending theme. He has grown and doesn't need Sonic anymore.

The hell? You mean to say that they cut out the extra content from Sonic Adventure DX and are offering it as DLC for half the asking price, instead of you know, making that the full version that went up?

Cleared all the character's stories, even Super Sonic's. I'm burned out on it at the moment but I guess that happens to you when you clear them all in a day. I'm not a marathon gamer by any means, a game has to be at a pretty good point or if I feel really good if I play it for more than half an hour, so to play 7hrs worth of the same game today just killed me lol. It's a shorter game than I remembered, kinda made me wonder why everyone hated on Big's gameplay when he only has 4 stages. The bosses were way easier than I remembered too. Super Sonic's in particular, was one I remembered being a little more epic than what it was, and dare I say it, the later sonic games I've played actually do them better. Those mini bosses against other characters like Knuckles and Gamma were pretty rubbish though, way too easy.

But whatever, I still had a good time. Lots of nostalgia kicking in when songs popped up or certain gameplay sequences revealed themselves again. And my nephew loved it, which was the most important thing to me. He got super excited when he learned he could play as Knuckles and I could hear him quietly repeat lines Sonic said during cutscenes. Bless him

Did you guys know Sonic 4 is being co-created by Dimps, the company that co-created SFIV and SSFIV?
They also made the fantastic Sonic Advance series and Sonic on NGPC!

They did a great job of reviving SF, so I'm confident they can do the same here

I got Sonic 4. It's ok. The running thing is a bit eh for a sonic game. It's way too slow for my tastes.
