18 already. It's hard to believe. It doesn't feel all that long ago that I was watching Momusu's 8th gen audition and suddenly finding myself noticing this energetic cute little thing singing away

I have to ask what performance that gif is from.

I've always thought that Suu-chan is very elegant when she dances, but I don't think I've ever noticed her dancing like that before.

All I know is that it predates October 5, 2009, so it's from a performance from over two years ago... maybe even from her kenkyuusei days.

I honestly thought Suuchan would be more popular by now. As a kenkyuusei there was some hype about her, but when she finally joined AKB48 everything seemed to have died down a bit. Luckily she still makes top 40, so I guess that's something.

My Suuchan fandom always increases after I watch some specials she is in. For example, the wall climbing scene in a Nemousu Australia Special where she bonds with Sayaka, that was just great to watch.

And yeah, I totally don't get why she isn't more popular either. I've always felt that she was just born to be an idol. She's cute, she has a great energy about her, an expressive face and she gets involved when it comes to TV shows too.

And, maybe this sounds strange, but after watching that Nemousu TV (Think it was that show) ep where Suu-chan tries on a kind of cinderella type dress (like a ballgown with a big wide skirt and lots of detailing on it) I've always thought of her as AKB48's princess

I can't forget the image of her in that dress and I always think that whenever I see her now.
