Thanks for the dance steps, Rei! I was just watching a YouTube clip of YamaP teaching some variety show chef the steps and I was there dancing right along!

Put here for the pure fact that it involves more than just YamaP. I have no confirmed news source yet, but I'll lay out the information anyways.

Yamashita Tomohisa, Golf & Mike (popular thai group), and four addtional Johnnys Jr members will together form a new group/unit (one time?) called kitty GYM. GYM = Golf + Yamashita + Mike.

kitty GYM will apparently sing the Japanese version of the theme song for the national girls volleyball team.

　山下智久（２１）を中心とするジャニーズ事務所の新ユニットが結成される。ユニット名は「ｋｉｔｔｙ　ＧＹＭ」。タイの人気アイドルＧＯＬＦ（１９）とＭＩＫＥ（１６）が参加して、国境を超えたグループになる。

　ユニット名のＧＹＭはＧＯＬＦ、山下、ＭＩＫＥの頭文字。スポーツ施設などを意味する「ｇｙｍ（ジム）」とかけた。「ｋｉｔｔｙ」には子供も含め、世代を超えて親しんでもらいたいとの意味が込められている。

　山下はこれまでも「ＮＥＷＳ」「修二と彰」、ソロと、さまざまな形態で活動。国境を超えた新ユニットに「日本やタイはもちろん、他のアジアの人々にも僕らのことを知ってもらえればうれしい」とコメント。「グローバルに活動していきたいので、これがきっかけになれば」と海外進出も視野に入れている。

　山下ら３人に、今後選ばれるジャニーズＪｒのメンバー４人が加わり、計７人で編成。フジテレビが放送する「２００６ワールドグランプリ女子バレーボール大会」（８月１８日～９月１０日）のスペシャルサポーターを務めるため、期間限定で活動する。大会イメージソングを日本語で歌唱するほか、会場に登場して大会を盛り上げる予定。

　ＧＯＬＦとＭＩＫＥはバンコク出身の兄弟で、現地では昨年１１月に「ＧＯＬＦ＆ＭＩＫＥ」としてデビュー。ジャニーズＪｒのタイ版「Ｇ―Ｊｕｎｉｏｒ」として活動し、日本でもＮＥＷＳの公演に参加したことがある。ＧＯＬＦは「以前、山下君と交換した携帯ストラップを大切に持っています。日本のファンにまた会えるのも楽しみです。音楽に国境はありません」と抱負。ＭＩＫＥは「日本でもアーティストとしての人生が始まると思うとドキドキします」と話している。

　≪タイでも“ジャニーズ”活動≫「タッキー＆翼」「ＫＡＴ―ＴＵＮ」らジャニーズの所属タレントは、５年ほど前からタイの音楽祭に積極的に出演したり、現地公演も行ってきた。０２年７月には「Ｇ―Ｊｕｎｉｏｒ」が誕生。ＧＯＬＦとＭＩＫＥは第１期生で、現在も約３０人のメンバーが在籍している。マネジメントは、日本ではジャニーズ事務所が行い、現地では同事務所と友好関係にあるタイ最大手の芸能プロダクション「グラミー」が担当。２人は、フジテレビのイベント「お台場冒険王」に連動して東京・台場の「ホテル　グランパシフィック　メリディアン」で行われる「ジャニーズＪｒの大冒険」への出演も決まっている。

Kitayama Hiromitsu (Kis-My-Ft2)
Inoo Kei (J.J. Express)
Totsuka Shota (A.B.C)
Yaotome Hikaru (Ya-Ya-Yah)

I haven't seen any news sources yet. Just got this from Mametsuki @ JPM. However, this set of four does seem to be a likely choice. Check out the Johnnys Juniors thread for profile shots of these four.

Apparently the powers that be in JE think that it's such a good name, they should continue with it so now there's also 'Kis-My-Ft2'... :evil:
