Personally, I have the sync turned off, and just manually copy over the albums that I want via itunes..

Then when you add something to itunes, you just drag it to the ipod..

or since you sync your files anyway, you can try restoring the ipod with itunes and then sync it again.

I'm confused!! You wrote that you had trouble syncing it, and now you can't even find it via itunes..
Does it mount?? Can you see it via "my computer"?? If not, I would say it's either fucked, or the connection is..
Try to mount it on another pc and see what happens..

If you can see it in My Computer, try uninstalling everything and re-installing them. If that doesn't work, or if you can't see it in My Computer at all your ipod is most likely fucked and if it's still under warranty send it back to apple. If it's not, get a new mp3 player.

How can I screen cap an MPEG-4 movie file?

VLC won't let me cap the frame, and the video doesn't actually display on Quicktime (all I hear is sound).

You select the file with the .001 extension, it will find the rest with the same name automaticly.

It will only show the .001 in the 'select first first file' box (that is why it is called 'first file')
And as JFC says it needs all parts in the same directory.

i still can't get it to work..it'll only do the first one and won't pick up the rest of the files, even though, they're all on the same directory

What does it say when you try to merge it?

Maybe they aren't HJSplit files. They might be rar's using the same number extensions.
