high ping is the lag between you and the server. You should pick a server with low ping for the best connection.

I was wondering if anyone could help with an Excel problem I have? It relates to drawing line charts. I need graphs as part of my report for next week, and I think the best way to display this info is through a graph created in Excel and then inserted into Word. What I want is a chart much like this:

Where as you may see, the lines are plotted exactly to a point (e.g. 12,12) and are touching each axis. What I've tried to create is this abomination:

And you can see, I can't even get specific points plotted and a line drawn connecting them. Values for the x axis are not even plotted to a point (argh curse my terminology) either, creating

I'm just wondering what you need to do to achieve what I want? I want to try and avoid Microsoft Word to create it with autoshapes as I think it's a little too basic and needs to be accurate.

*EDIT*

Ah never mind, I got it now. Used scatter graphs instead and got exactly what I wanted.

Having a serious problem with my Dell Workstation 370 PC.  Whenever in use, especially when watching videos on VLC media player,  the computer suddenly shuts off, the power buttons that normally stays green flash orange repeatedly.  I can still use it when I disconnect power and plugs it back in minutes later, but problem still there.  What exactly is wrong and how do I fix it?

Sounds like it is overheating.

Check for dust inside the computer and if all fans are running: CPU and powersupply, case fan.

If you have a video card with a fan,check it also.

FF and Flock can display Japanese (and other Asian characters), except for Chrome. I've tried switching to all the Japanese language options available on the list for it, but still no luck...

I even downloaded a bunch of stuff that would supposedly install the language, but nope.

I have my encoding set to "Japanese (shift-JIS)", and haven't had a problem..

Check "options" -> "under the hood" -> "change font and language settings"

Which of these would you recommend and where can I download it: http://jpopsuki.eu/rules.php?p=clients

For some reason they don't allow my regular BT program.

Thanks!

I have a Linksys Wireless N-Router WRT150N, I want to expand the range of my network.  I tried finding an antenna, but I dunno which one is compatible with my router since all antenna I saw never list as N-router/network compatible, only G.  I wanna know if there is any antenna that would work with my router.  If not, then what other way can I expand my network.  Range Expander won't work, at least that Linksys Wireless-G Range expander WRE54G, I bought it and it always went crazy just after 1-2 days, I had to reset it everytime, so it's a hassle.

So if I can't upgrade my antenna and range expander don't work, what can I do to expand my wireless network?

UPDATE: ok, so I just inspected my router, the WRT150N, and turns out I can't remove and replace the antenna like I thought (never notice it, not like my old router).  So unless there is a way to connect an antenna to the router's ethernet port, I'm outta luck with the antenna thing.
So Antenna probablly won't work, how about any good, Wireless N-type compatible range expander? Or 2 routers?  I never tried nor know if 2 routers could expand my network, so can it?  If so, since I have a N-type, could I use a G- or B- router, would it work?

ALSO,  I wanna know if a wireless access point is better, worse, same as a wireless router.  apparently they wireless access point devices along with routers so I wanna know what's the difference.

UPDATE:  I googled some of the info that I asked, though it answered some of my questions but left some unanswered.
1) I searched the diff between WAP and Routers, so routers are better and multi-function compared to WAP. still don't know if I should buy a router or a WAP for what I need...

2) I can hook up 2 routers, but supposedly thru configuration and the use of an ethernet cable and port.  Isn't there a way to have 2 router wirelessly connect?  I want one downstairs and one on ground floor.  I want one of them configured to work as an AP, but do I really need it connected?  If so then it won't really expand my network as much as I wanted, too.

Now it just got me to thinking how do the businesses and places with Wi-Fi have their network hook up?
I want that, just on a smaller scale and hopefully at a consumer price.

Hoping someone could help me with web page design with html/css stuff I have. As part of a design template, I want my website to have a gradient fill for the background. I have an image that's 5x400 pixels long and it goes from top-down, black to grey. Now I'd like it to fill the whole page, but the image itself only goes up to 400 px before displaying the remainder of the page in white. Background repeat will repeat the image again once it's finished creating a sort of black-grey-black-grey display which isn't what I want, I only want it to display once and fill the whole page, no matter how tall it may be.

Any direction would be much appreciated :)

*EDIT*

Nevermind, I found a solution  :twothumbs.

In my external CSS page I put in the following:

html {height:100%;}
body {height:100%; margin:0; padding:0;}
.bg {position:fixed; top:0; left:0; width:100%; height:100%;}

And in the php page I put in this div tag to fill the page:

<div id="bg"><img src="background.jpg" width="100%" height="100%" alt=""></div>

Now to work on the styles of the divs when displaying content...

I have a Linksys Wireless N-Router WRT150N, I want to expand the range of my network.
Add a extra AP give it the same SID and a different channel and the PC should switch the the one with the strongest signal. Just make sure only one is the DHCP server.

I use a Sitecom WL306 as WAP, i could do ADSL also but I already have that via another router/modem so its not connected (thatone being a lot older has no wireless and is located a floor lower anyway close to a phone socket)

^Ok, so I just got a another Wireless router, WRT160N, an upgrade from my current one, I'm supposed.  instead of buying an AP, can I use my WRT150N router as an access point?
btw, I have a WPA2 network, so do have to change more than just the SSID and channel on the second router?

You can use the new router as additional AP, just make sure you disable the DHCP part (as your current situation should already handle that)
You should also set the same password, and if you use MAC address security set them on all AP's

^ I dunno about the MAC adress security thing and how to set them, but I guess it's not necessary then.  thanks, frblckstr1.
Just confirming...
-Disable DHCP on the second router
-Same SSID and password as the main router.
-Different channel then the main router.

now I don't have to use an ethernet cable and connect it together now do I?

thanks for everything, frblckstr1.

For this kind of configuration you will have to connected both AP's to each other with cable.
As long as you do not connected the WAN ports to each other it will work.
