nice to see flames losing past few games. Canucks can still win the division rite now!!

win the division??!!  i just hope Canucks can make the playoff...San Jose and LA Kings are right behind...and Calgary, Colorado, Edmonton, Anaheim, San Jose and LA Kings all have more games in hands.  I think San Jose will make the playoff...either Edmonton or Vancouver will fail to make it.

nah, canucks rite now have a bit of a gap between sharks. although they have 3 games up on us, but they do play 3 though teams in their next 4 games. Canucks are only 3 pts outa the divison leader. so anything is possible rite now.

i guess afterall division is not canucks' priority goal since the flames beat the oilers tonight. lets hope they beat the ducks tomorrow and we are safe for a playoffs spot.

Whoever thought that the NHL was going to never recover is nuts. Considering that there is more revenue that is coming in than ever and practically every game has been like a playoff game, it is back.

Being a NYR fan, I'm so so ecstatic that they are back in the playoffs. To those who say that they will finish 30/30 teams (particularly a certain sports magazine) I say look whose battling for the atlantic division now.

I don't mind being somewhat greedy considering it has been 8 years since I have seen playoff hockey but it would be great if we win the division.  It will be tough but it's definitely possible. Who knows, nothing in this seaon ended up the way everyone predicted

FUCKING BS! the Cannots are choking big time down the stretch. Auld kept us in through the whole game only to lose by 1-0!! Fuck the rest of the team cant even get a goal. They better get their asses together and win every game now or else they should go golfing come playoff time.

Holy shit! Another Rangers-fan!  :w00t:
And yes, this has been one weird season for the Rangers. Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined the Rangers fighting for top spots this season. It's so ironic: they miss the playoffs with some of the most expensive  teams ever for 8 seasons straight and when the rebuilding season finally comes, they're actually fighting for the Cup
Seriously I haven't felt this good about the Rangers since 1997.

Jaromir Jagr = God of Hockey :yep:

I am not surpised at all.  In fact, I think they have been choking since they got swept by the St. Louis Blues.  I'm a big Canucks fan but I don't think they deserve to make the playoffs.

They're up against it. Thank god y'all play SJ ...bitches be creeping. I bet they'll get the #8 spot and Joe Thornton gets an MVP nod.

But PISS ME THE FUCK OFF!! Oilers wouldnt be tied with Sharks if the league would took an extra minute to check on an obvious goal. How the fuck can they take 10 minutes in the shootout vs Vancouver a few weeks ago to determine a gloved puck cross the line. but this so fuckin obvious, they said "Fuck it. Bitches in Toronto ain't fast enough." Oilers end up losing 2-1 in a SO. AGAIN. Tight as the lips in Foxy's camel toe thread.

Mike Peca nailed it with:

"I don't know where the blame or responsibility lies. Somebody should be held accountable, without question. We're in a playoff race. What happens if we miss by one point?"

LA is fucking done after they sucked yet again. i guess the Canucks better be hoping OILERS be choking down the stretch now!

Canucks may not deserve post season, but none the less, i still want playoffs for them since i love the atmosphere around the city. we also get to watch the best of the Canucks perform come post season.

Yeah. Y'all HAD to give the Flamers another point:

The NEXT 3 games will be so crucial...here's hoping San Jose and Vancouver lay the wood to each other. BUT FUCK!!! Of all the years that we could be in the driver's seat, THIS HAPPENS. 2-1 loss to St. Louis. AGAIN making some no-name goalie look like a superstar. Who cares if you out shoot em 23-4 in the 3rd!!

What the fuck Peca was so hardcore and then that 2nd goal, gamewinner he barely touched Rycroft. Makes me insane. Swear to god...I ain't gonna jump off the bandwagon like the locals. I still believe and MUST WIN against Detroit. Fuckin everyone has a game on hand now.

http://www.edmontonoilers.com/features/playoffs

Suddenly I'm a Ducks Fan. Good win tonite!! 8) but it would be cool to have all Canadian teams in the playoffs (except Toronto) ... but we're dying for some playoffs here. Rexall Place is THE LOUDEST rink in North America!!!

oilers will still be 91 after tomorrow.

i am fucking pissed off at the way the game went for the canucks. i dont know if they played a good game or not, but those 4 goals were frustratin as hell.

on the bright side, the offence were there tonight. but they just didnt score more than 2 goals. if they can keep that kinda offence going for their last 3 games, they are in good shape to win their last 3. however, defence needs to improve the defence.

Goddammit Wings, just coast like the Sens will ya!!

Legace had to have a great game with a 2-0 shutout. At least we put up a better fight...fuckin Dvorak HAS to shoot instead of pass!!!!!
