My Nacchi story:
Omg, I haven't been a bigger fan of anyone but Nacchi. I'm not really a huge fan anymore since I don't follow her releases and such, but still sometimes when I see new pics I think "aww she's still so cute and

". Anyway, whoa. I think in my early MM fandom days I watched Pinch Runner for Yuko, but ended up falling for Nacchi. I still think she looked totally delicious during that period. After that, it was madness. Ordered my first H!P product (Datte ikitekanakucha) and started watching everything Nacchi like crazy! Thought she was the cutest, warmest, funniest little idol bomb evarrrr. The reason why I eventually lost interest was because she didn't release the kind of music I really like - I could grow to like them, like Yume Naraba, but I wouldn't have even given them a 2nd chance if the performer had been someone else. lol And then Elder Club graduation was announced.

Ecru and Screen were hot, but the first one had many beautiful & even artistic shots & different kinds of themes. It's the best PB I own and deeze bitchez in current H!P only wish their PBs could be 1/5 as awesome and not be such unimaginative, boring "ohay a school uniform" crap.

I don't have scans of the whole book (also, the book is quite hueg unlike these scans) so these are just some samples

My Nacchi story: Another one of my all time favorite MM members. I noticed her early and often, she's so cute and funny, and she's a great motherly figure to the others. I love her bonds with Nono and Aibon, and Eri. I love her cute cheeks and the short hairstyle is my fave. Her PBs are amongst some of the sexiest and cutest. One of the best voices in H!P, I love her acoustic shows. Where is she now!!

From 2002, my fave Nacchi look - short hair. I love it so much. Just so warm, and takes you away to another place. She's like my fave MM singer not named Rika.

My Nacchi story: When I first got into MoMusu, I didn't really care for Nacchi. I didn't like that she was promoted at the expense of...well, everyone else. I thought she was a fine singer, but I liked the other girls more. But then I got to know her more, and loved that she was actually a big dork (it's funny how many of the MoMusu girls are actually big dorks!), so now I like her more.
Favourite Nacchi song: I don't know a whole lot of Nacchi's solo work, but I do like "Koi no Telephone Goal."

Other comments: She totally needs some new singles (as do all the other OGs). Also, Nacchi is rare in that she's one of the few women I think looks much better with short hair (usually I like it looooong, which may partially explain my love for Kaorin...).

My Nacchi story: Learning of the early years of Morning Musume pretty much meant that I would remember Natsumi Abe right away, considering how she was pushed to the front of the line and even got away with a single serving as an unofficial solo debut...but that single turned out to be one of my favorite Momusu songs right off the bat (and still remains so). Definitely one of the best H!P singers of all time (OF ALL TIME!), and it's always funny seeing her get teased about her Hokkaido roots on Utaban (nan da be sa?). Too bad about the whole plagiarism fiasco and car accident, but hopefully she's got better judgment nowadays.

Other comments: With all the comments I've come across regarding other members not aging, I think Nacchi is probably the best example of someone somehow maintaining eternal youth. She keeps getting older, her face stays the same age.

My Nacchi story:
Honestly, I didn't appreciated Natsumi as she deserves until I heard her soloist works, because when I got into Morning Musume, it was with the songs from 2005 and up; then I casually saw the Koi no hana pv and I was like WOAH! *_* Sweet voice, sweet face and an undeniable charm. Nacchi and Kaori pulled me to hear old MM songs and they turned into my favorite, with their more mature sound compared to the actual (not complaining, though.)
