Hello everyone. This is my first post here! I live in Argentina and became an Ebisu Muscats fan thanks to this thread so after a while I decided to join. I know is a bit late since the show has sadly ended but still I wanted to say hi. I only watched the final season, though.
Oh, and BTW, my favorite Muscat is Airi Nagasaku
Welcome welcome PhantomJin!

Here on the Muscats board we do our best to keep the Muscats legacy alive. Anything you find with the Muscats is always welcome to post.
No one has stated Nagasaku Airi as a favorite (I think? not sure) so you're the first! I agree with initial, she's cute tho.
But I hope you like Kuriyama Mui because lord have mercy you are gonna be seeing a lot of her while I'm here

I'm probably not gonna be bumping this in my car anytime soon, but the short version PV of Rio's "I'm Sexy" is now online. I'm digging the bob cut.
I can't unhear Hatsune Miku...I'm sorry

But this song is not even close to Rio's other two: Say You Love Me and Platinum Venus. Both better imo
However, there's also another reason why I posted the OgiYagi video with Shiraishi Mai and Kojima Haruna. And it has to do with the "faces of the franchise".
While the Muscats were still running, there were clear indicattors as to who the faces of the franchise were. Like, if this woman left the Muscats, they would not be the same even if you tried adding in new members. AKB48 and Nogizaka46 have this same problem. When Maeda Atsuko graduated, the franchise was never the same. Now with AKB48, once Kojima Haruna graduates, the franchise won't even look the same since she, at leas tin my opinion, is the franchise face of AKB48. Same with Nogizaka46; if Shiraishi Mai graduates from that franchise, there's going to be a tough time trying to replace her. With the Muscats, you had your fair share of women who came and left (Mizuki Uruha, Kirihara Erika, Ohashi Sayoko, Fujiura Megu, etc.). But some of them couldn't exactly be replaced. By 2013, it was safe to say Kishi Aino, Yoshizawa Akiho, Aoi Sola and Rukawa Rina were the "faces of the franchise", yet you could argue that they could be replaced if you found someone willing enough to take the same job (for example Sakuragi Rin was gone due too health concerns, but by the end, did you notice that she was gone or did Rina take up all the spotlight for the "kawaii" girl of the group?). I think what I'm trying to say is, you couldn't replace Rio and expect someone else to fill her shoes. The only woman who I think could have come close was Ozawa Maria, but she came and left real quick. Yes, Rio was never the Muscat's captain through those five years. But the captain isn't necessarily the most important member.
Rio wasn't just the face of the franchise. She
was the franchise.
