There's a site called How-Old.net which scans a photo of yourself or anyone that guesses what age they are. For funsies, I put on a number of photos of the Muscats. Fairly accurate all round although some of the older members were guessed to be younger than they actually are. The funniest example being Mihiro:

According to algorithms she looks less than half her age. Which when you look at her, isn't too far from the truth!

Here is mine...

Time for a caption contest?

YUMA: What the hell happened to the rest of you?!

PIG: Three words...hungry, Haruka, and Ogura.

Sad news as Aino has just announced that she will retire at the end of this year. As the members have moved on to the next chapter of their lives, I guess it is also a good idea for us to move on as well.

Yeah, I saw that Aino's 8 hour 'best of' DVD had been released...I thought her retirement couldn't be too far away. I wonder which of the AV girls will be the last to retire? Yuria? Acky? Minori?

The program ended two years ago...

Never easy to let go of something you like...never easy to admit when it's over.

Yeah, yeah, couldn't agree more to that statement. Even Ebisu's been off for years, they are the second jpop group (but the first idol group) that I would love to have all of the songs, albums, and MVs. I remember during early 2011 when I knew Ebisu for the first time there's no single night that I spent without watching their MV(s). Sounds corny but no kidding.

Late 2012 they announced their retirement soon and that news was a shock, for me and probably for all of you as well. Knowing that they're going to launch their ABAYO as their last album, I took out most of my saving and bought the cd and deluxe photo album, knowing that they wouldn't launch anymore products. Yep, still sounds corny, but no kidding again

Still can't find their replacement, though, but I give myself a throwback to early 2000's jpop idol 'Folder5'. Hell, they're cute  XD
Only last for 3 years though, they disbanded in 2003.  :smhid

Here, accept my tribute for their 2-years(-ish, kind of late ) disbandment.

This scene left a tear in my eye...and I never grew tired of watching the PV over and over and over and over again, thinking that the girls' dreams while staying Muscats are suddenly came to a halt. It is corny, yes...

I am kinda envy of some of you. I mean...I know Muscats for a year now...they are not known here...so their CDs are none to be seen even in some Conventions where JPOP CDs were sold.

I have been said many times about the Dream Concert here in my country but it won't happen (I know some of you are kinda irritated...therefore, I am sorry about that)...

Yes, it is quite sad...so sad that you want to have a feels trip as you watched the Muscat episodes all over again on YT...even if you have a hard time understanding the jokes...even if it is too ero or not...

I kinda fell in love with the group.

But, as history dictates...Muscats ate gone...or so we think.

We just keep supporting

And oh, BTW...Aino received a special award in the DMM Adult Awards. Yuma presented the award to her...kinda reminded me of Yuma passing the torch to Aino as the Leader.

News item in "The Independent"

"Asia's biggest internet company, Alibaba Group Holding Ltd, has withdrawn a job advertisement calling for candidates with similar qualities to a popular Japanese porn actress after it was accused of sexism.

It was suggested that physical characteristics similar to celebrity adult film star Sora Aoi could help the applicant succeed."

It seems fair enough to me...but that's why I never have a job in Human Resources.

Wait...the reasoning sucks, men... *booooo*

Anyway, for you, guys, what is The Most Embarassing Muscat Moment?

We will call it The "Hasukashi" Awards!

For me, it is....ENA KAWAMURA'S TRIP in one of their kabajo segments in SP.

It is embarassing and at the same time...A painful Blunder. She tripped back first on that episode.

How about you, guys?

A Cider Queen contest: Nishino had put together a complicated skit (costumes and props).

The doors opened. Nishino was sitting on the floor, in her costume, just about to launch into some melodramatic skit...

and after about 3 or 4 seconds they closed the doors on her. Nishino must have been humiliated. It looked really embarrassing.

Man, I bet Nishino was pissed

A shame to hear Aino is retiring. She will be missed. With Rio's inactivity over the past few months, I fear she may have retired without a proper farewell. Asami Ogawa retired a few months ago as well. These are dark times if you're a JAV fan! I think the last to retire, will probably be Jessica and possibly Minori or Hana. Acky, Sho and Yuria can't have that many AV's left (as much as I hope they continue. Lesbian AV together please!!!), Rina will get chewed up and spat out by SOD because that always happens with them and Airi won't be in it for much longer based on recent performances.

Acky and Yuma with Anri Okita at the DMM Awards 2015. I hoped Anri and JULIA would have made it onto the Muscats. Almost impossibly adding even more eye candy to an amazing looking roster of beautiful women.

I saw that interview Anri did with the BBC. Her English is good. She has quite a pronounced English accent. I'm guessing she must have lived in the UK for a while.

A lot a girls who started their AV career around 2005 are retiring

I was surprised to see that Nishino is still releasing DVDs. I thought she had retired.

I would put my money on either Hana or Yuria being the last ones to hang up the old g-string and retire.

Anyone like to make a guess as to what Aika's T-shirt says?
