Holy crap, kuro managed to join us in LA somehow!

I wish I had made more of an effort to remember the haiku; it was shown on the screen along with the other contest winners before the movie got underway. Congrats!

One of these days you're gonna have to join us for real.

To be honest, my gut instinct has been telling me to stay home; I really had to wrestle with myself to head over there. Same thing with talking to people while I was waiting in line...sadly, I feel it's gonna be a while before I'm around that many H!P fans again. This has definitely been a learning experience, and it's funny how the shortest and most disorganized of my three trips to LA just might be the most fulfilling in the long term. I actually kinda wanna go to AX next year now, but of course that depends on what's gonna happen.

As an update, I actually met up with CKD after posting my recap, but unfortunately at that point we were both tired from our own activities that we didn't even do anything.

I got a few photos during the mini-concert...one blurry and the others kinda dark. Security was surprisingly chill with the fan cameras, but I didn't wanna get too trigger happy to be on the safe side.

Nice to see that folks that attended had a good time.

I so wanted to go to the VIP event after the first showing but it clashed with my only AX fangirl moment (to attend the Yuu Asakawa panel -- Japanese Seiyuu for Priss of BGC 2040. Worth it though.)

I got my computer & internet back up. Most of the facts about what happened are in the recap above, but a proper news story is forthcoming. I should have some of the photos and maybe some of the video of the press conference up tonight.

Other than that, I think I've been inspired to write a few more articles on Mano and H!P in general. ...that will take a while longer though.
