who am i facing in the finals?

by process of elimination, I think it is scrock7 - that guy who argued with ytl until Mods had to step in XD

GOOD LUCK!! The winner gets some vintage football cards!

Hey, let me rub it in some more  I thought the Defense suddenly stepping it up (and without Michael Lewis) ... Lito Sheppard's banged up tho but wouldn't worry.

I think Green Bay gets the last playoff spot...Washington will beat a beat up Giants and put em out of their misery. Chicago should be resting most of their players anyways.

The Pro Bowl picks were a joke btw. How do you leave Michael Vick and Brian Westbrook off?

I know they don't look so impressive on offense this year, but.. Let's not count out my Patriots in the playoffs this year! ^_^ The defense is fantastic and the coach isn't bad either. Any given Sunday, y'know? I think the Chargers would prolly whomp the Pats, but I think Pats match up with SD as good as anyone else in playoffs... Long as we don't gotta play Broncos first. Gah, they always beat us. >_<

NFC, I bet the Giants get that last spot. Can they really suck again this week? they've lost what, 7 out of 8 or some shit? Besides, tomorrow is my 8th wedding anniversary. I'll most likely not get to watch that Packers game and if it's an important one that will piss me off, haha.

HEY Happy Anniversary to you Shibo!!! I know my womens have had to put up with my Sunday night couch sesh.

Can never count out Tom Brady indeed, Pats make something out of nothing ARRGH! :P But SUNDAY NITE pretty much wrapped it all up. Unless all the signs

...SATURDAY NITE FOOTBALL...Packers gonna make it?? NOT.

LOL They almost coughed it up too...Giants more or less clinched. Man, Tiki 234 yards and 3 TDs. Good luck on Good Morning America. Eli confidence is fucked. Jason Campbell has a good future ahead of him - I must admit

AFC is gonna be a bit easier I think, Jets will prolly make it in but I'm rooting for Tennessee. Fisher. Chow. and VY!!

While I'd like to see the Titans in the playoffs, and while I'd like to see the Pats rest their players.. I must root for my team today. ^_^

I just don't wanna see the Broncos in it, heh.

thanks daigong! Pats are leading 12-3 right now though. Titans gonna need a lot of help, but even if they don't make it, they really turned some heads. They turned mine pretty good this year, hope they do it again next year

Broncos cornerback shot and killed in drive-by

DENVER (AP) -- Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting early Monday, his limousine sprayed with bullets in downtown Denver.

Team spokesman Jim Saccomano said police called him about 3 a.m. from the scene and told him three people had been shot, and the 24-year-old Williams had been killed. The killing came hours after the Broncos were eliminated from the playoff race.

A little after 2 a.m., a white Hummer limousine was fired on from a vehicle that pulled up along its side, police spokesman Sonny Jackson said. There were at least eight bullet holes in the limo.

Three people in the limo were hit and were taken to hospitals, where one man was pronounced dead, Jackson said. The other man and woman who were shot were not identified.

Jackson said police were searching for suspects and interviewing witnesses.

"We have no motive yet," Jackson said. "We're hoping to talk with witnesses to find out where they were coming from, and that might give us some clues."

Saccomano said he spoke with coach Mike Shanahan and others in the organization. Hours earlier, the Broncos lost to San Francisco 26-23 in overtime.

"Complete shock. We're speechless. It takes words away. A terrible tragedy," Saccomano said.

Pro Bowl player Champ Bailey was among the players and team staff members who gathered at Denver Health Medical Center, where Williams' body was taken.

"He had a big heart and a lot of courage," said Cedric Smith, assistant strength and conditioning coach. "It's a tragedy, a complete tragedy. It's sickening."

Williams teamed with Bailey to give Denver one of the top cornerback tandems in the NFL. Williams finished the season with 88 tackles, 78 of them solo, and four interceptions.

Players and coaches are off Monday. They were scheduled to meet Tuesday before heading home for the offseason.

On Sunday against the 49ers, Williams had three tackles and returned two punts for 50 yards before leaving the game with a shoulder injury late in the second half. After the game he said he was planning to wait a few weeks before determining if he needed an operation.

In December, Williams spoke of his desire to return to his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, this offseason to talk to kids about staying out of gangs.

Williams, a second-round draft pick out of Oklahoma State in 2005, made an immediate impact on the Broncos. He started nine times in his rookie season following a stellar college career.

AP Sports Writer Pat Graham in Denver contributed to this report.

I didn't know they had drive bys in Denver!!! But man that sucks so much.

Yeah, there's a few clubs downtown in Denver.. And, like pretty much anywhere where there are clubs, there are guys who think they're thugs. Mix it with lots of booze, and a late night (3 AM? Jeez), and you get trouble more often than not. It's sad that a guy with so much promise and so many people counting on him didn't have the common sense to stay away from that sort of situation.

FOXSports.com has learned that the Arizona Cardinals informed Denny Green Monday morning that he has been let go as head coach.
GM Rod Graves, who is also rumored to be on the hot seat, appears to be safe at this point.

Green led the team to a 5-11 record this season, a disappointing showing considering the many moves — most notably the signing of running back Edgerrin James and drafting of quarterback Matt Leinart — the team made during the off-season.

In Green's three seasons in Arizona, the team never finished better than 6-10 and was a combined 16-32 during that stretch.

The team could look to add a personnel guy along with a new head coach, as Green was integral in both roles.

The rest of the staff is meeting with management today to see what their fate will be.

WELL...just had to say :hump: WOO HOO!!! EAGLES NFC EAST CHAMPS!! Andy Reid should get coach of the year considerations! It really is the system...I think it's cuz ever since I was like pissed off, and I tossed my McNabb jersey into the laundry basket in teh basement. and left it there all crumpled and sweaty and beer-drenched....

and hope it ain't Brett Favre's last game...he sure was sobbing like a bitch:

Deion Sanders Prime Time segment is some of the best NFL shows around, he's making Mooch gangsta haha

And Jim Mora Jr got the boot too. Think him talking out of his ass about the University of Washington job helped? Or was it Mike "Coach Killer" Vick. Talk about a "What have you done for me lately" world we live in. WHERES THE LOYALTY MAN!

I heard there are some pics around of Jawon Walker soaked in blood because he was in the limo with Williams. I can't find them.

D E I O N ROCKS!

I hope Pete Carroll takes the Cardinals job. Hes a good guy for any football job.

Mora just didn't seem the right stuff this year. Maybe Dan Reeves will come back to coach Vick.

Another coach that is on the hot seat is Nick Saban. Hes gonna make his decision tommorrow and it seems to be all about money. In December he kept denying the job to Alabama...NOW he is freakin considering. He better decline and stay in Miami or he will look like an NFL failure.

I am not a fan of Pete Carroll after the mess he created in New England. I'm glad he has done well at USC, but if he takes the Cardinal's coaching position I highly doubt he does anything significant there.

The problem with the Cardinal's starts at the top, and as long as the Bidwills are running the show I don't think any coach is going to be able to do too much there (same situation in Detroit).

Also, I believe the Cardinals need a stricter coach than someone like Pete Carroll. I remember back when Dave McGinnis was coaching the Cardinals and people were referring to training camp as the "country club" because he was so easy on his players. Pete Carroll is another "nice guy" coach that just doesn't suit such a bad team like the Cardinals.

Bill Cowher is resining from the Steelers and Art Shell is stepping down from the Raiders. Sad to see Cowher go, hopefully he'll be back in a couple of years and win another Super Bowl

Woo, wild card weekend! Here's my predictions:

KC at Indy: I really want to pick KC, I really do.. And if the game was in Arrowhead, I would. But, the Chiefs are not a good road team. Will LJ run all over Indy? Probably. But, even if he gets 150+ yards, KC will need touchdowns, not just sustained drives. I just don't think that KC's defense can stop Manning, and I don't think that KC will score enough, even if they do win the time of possession game. I hope like hell that I'm wrong on this one, because one of my greatest joys in life is watching Indy choke every year. Indy 28, KC 17

Dallas at Seattle: I have no confidence in either team here, but I can't help thinking that Dallas will lose this one, rather than Seattle winning it. The home crowd will help the 'hawks a bit, Romo will make a few bad plays, and neither defense will do much to stop the other team. Seattle wins, 34-27

NY Jets at New England: Feel free to skip to the next game, as I am a homer here and incredibly biased. Still here? Great! The Patriots are gonna stomp the Jets into the ground. The Jets have no running game and will be forced to win or lose the game in the air. There will be at least two interceptions by the New England defense. Tom Brady will have a statistically poor game, but fantasy season is over. The Pats win this one with screen passes and a fantastic defense. New England 31, Jets 10.

New York at Philadelphia: Eli Manning forces us to rename "The Peyton Manning Face" after this game. "The Manning Face" means that Eli loses this one as the New York teams go 0-2 this weekend. Tiki Barber has a great game in his swan song, but it's not enough as Brian Westbrook has a monster day with 250 total yards and a TD. Jeff Garcia is average but makes no mistakes, throwing one TD pass and sneaking for another score. Philadelphia 24, NY Giants 14.

Stay tuned this weekend as I post my apologies for being wrong in every game, rofl.

Well lets hope your wrong about Dallas. :)  But I do admit I have the same feelings you do for this team.  After the N'awlins game the team seems to just be on a downward spiral and losing to Detroit...come on.
