HOUSTON -- Buffalo Bills tight end Kevin Everett returned to his native Texas on Friday to be closer to his family for the next phase of his recovery from a life-threatening spinal cord injury.

"Kevin's trip went pretty good. He stayed awake the entire time. He's fine," Eric Armstead, a partner of Everett's agent, Brian Overstreet, told The Associated Press. "He's doing well and he's resting. That's the news: He's resting."

that game was CRAZY. I changed the channel after the failed 2 point conversion, i then changed back to it couple mins late, and what the hell the cowboys are making a run down the field??!? game was CRAZY!

Pats and Colts seem to be the best 2 teams so far this season. The Cowboys are also undefeated but I'm not quite sold on them just yet. Great comeback win for them against the bills though.

Maybe it's just me but it seems like there's more injuries to key players this year than in previous years. Or perhaps I feel that way since the injury bug has bit the Bears hard this season.

Injuries will always turn a "good" team to a crap team, unless people step up. I just don't think the boys have any quality opponents. The Pats was a real team for them to play. Next Vikings, easy win.

I'm not impressed with the Patriots. Beside "Tapegate" (Give the Eagles back Super Bowl XXXIX). They got an easy schedule too. Playing the Jets and Dolphins twice - if you just bum rush Brady, he'll fuck up.

Four-time Pro Bowl tailback Priest Holmes, who returned to the field with the Kansas City Chiefs last month following nearly two years of inactivity, has decided to leave the game, and announced his retirement at a Wednesday afternoon news conference.

"I have truly been blessed with the opportunity to play in the National Football League," he said. "I will be forever grateful to the Hunt family and the Chiefs organization for the opportunity to come to Kansas City, where the community embraced me from Day 1."
