I think we definitely need a new striker, Saha had been very. very good thus far (two games), but I'm really concerned that Solksjaer is our back-up striker (he's been great for us, but frankly, I want to see him as a coach rather than a player) and as much as I like Alan Smith, I really think that his striking days are over.

^ Don't forget Rossi, who looks very promising. I believe he was the highest scoring player in the reserve league last year? And of course, Alex wants Rooney playing directly up front, which, personally, I think is the wrong position for him to play in. Our strike force right now seems to be going quite well with the players we have (8 goals in 2 games), but I'd still be happier with a Shevchenko or a Henry class player up there.

Tuffty, you also play fantasy premier league? nice :)
my team hasn't scored much yet, mostly because half of my team didn't play in the latest round :(

and ManU is kinda in a similar situation like my favourite team, AC Milan. at least one highly ranked striker would b needed. but I don't want milan to buy Ronaldo..he's too fat :P some guy like Torres or similar would be much more nice..

^ Get your hands off Torres!! He or Tevez is ours dammit! :P

I was forced to remove De La Cruz and Warnock from my team last night. Cruz was dismissed and Warnock's got an ankle injury! I brought in Bridge and Johnson instead, so that's 4 points deducted, bringing me down to 4th place.

^ hmm sorry mate. I don't know what the problem could be. By looking at the FAQ section, it says:

Quote
Is there any limit on the number of teams in a private league?

No, the more the merrier. Only 50 teams will be show at once though and you'll have to use the back and forward links to navigate through your table.

Boy that was a close game United had today. Watford are a pretty choppy team, don't see them in the Premiership next year tbh.

Woo, I'm top of the private league I'm in!

Apparently Tevez's agent has said that 'he's very close to moving to a European club'. Unfortunately, I've also heard rumours that Chelsea are looking to buy him, and then put him on loan to another club! Seriously, is that even allowed? It's like Chelsea will do whatever they can to ensure big name players won't play for rival clubs. If it's true, then it is sickening.

Well I guess that's possible since Liverpool's Mark Gonzalez went through the same thing, he wasn't able to get a work permit to play in England so Liverpool loaned him out to a Spanish team(Real Sociedad I think).

But as far as I'm aware, Tevez is capable of playing in England at this moment of time.

Chelsea s**** big time. Just coz Abrahamovic has tonnes of money, they think they can do anything they want to. And then that boring style of play....my God. And Mourinho has the guts to say Liverpool's style of playing is boring...wtf !!

Argentina striker Carlos Tevez says he and team-mate Javier Mascherano have agreed to sign for West Ham.

The World Cup duo, who both play for Corinthians in Brazil, are set to move to Upton Park on a year-long loan.

I....I'm stunned, I'm literally stunned. Why couldn't we have signed them on a year loan? How does a club like West Ham manage to sign them and not the biggest football club in the world? What is wrong with us?! *sigh* It's almost like things can't get any...

Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder has signed Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi on loan until January as he looks to bolster his strikeforce.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Yeah, I'm a bit shocked that West Ham pulled off such a move. Hopefully, the bit about Mascherano isn't true though, still kind of hopeful to get him...

I doubt pundits and cynics would be happy with anybody United signed anyway. The only way I think we could win them over is if we signed Ronaldinho, have Zidane to come out of retirement to play for us and travel back in time to have 1970's Pele come play for us.

The market players ended:

-So finally Gallas joins Arsenal :D but Ashley Cole joins Chelsea in exchange. (Chealsea bought Asley Cole for 7.5M € + Gallas lol)
-Reyes joins Real Madrid for one year on loan. (in exchange, Julio Baptista joins Arsenal)

As far as I'm aware we might be the only club not to buy a player yesterday. :(
