WAOW! Morning Musume just released their 2nd single "Summer Night Town". What y'all think??

The song is pretty catchy! DAIKIRAI DAIKIRAI DAISUKIII

Nacchi has such a pretty face but damn girl is skinny! Looks like somebody needs to eat a sandwich, or a triple cheese burger!
Ayappe looks pretty hot!
What was the point in adding 3 new girls?? You can barely see them in the video. That Sayaka chick looks kinda cute though.
I wish I had a voice like that Asuka. She really doesn't look like an idol though, if ya know what I mean.

That Michiyo Heike chick released also a single a few months ago "Sotsugyou ~Top of the World~"
I'm not surprised that nobody posted a thread cuz Momusu is so much cooler! I can identify with them so much better cuz they're losers and all.

What the heck, this song is nothing like "GET". I thought she was supposed to become a rock vocalist? She just sits like an old lady. I guess it's not that bad though.

I really like that Asuka chick. I think that she will outlast most of these girls and become a really big star someday.

I am still NOT ON BOARD with these three new girls!!  How bogus is that?!

Our Fab Five busts ass for months, going all over the friggin' country to gain acceptance and a record deal.  And then that crackpot Tsunku just adds three new members cause he's the boss or something.  Five girls is ENOUGH in the group -- eight is making an utter MOCKERY of idol groups!

Well, at least these rookies are in the back row for now.  But what's this on the latest ASAYAN episode, special project group or something?  Huh?!!

That's a lot of people!! they could gang up on speed or something! haha~ (joking)

The song sounds pretty good. And the chorus is catchy too. I like it.
The girl in the middle looks really c-ute! ^_-

Wonder if I can get my relatives to buy the CD and mail it to me.

Hey, that Yuko is quite a sweetie. I bet some lucky guy is gonna marry her real soon. And that new girl, Kei, has a beautiful voice. I bet she'll replace Nacci as the new front girl and become a photobook queen.

Btw, if anyone wants their latest PV, I have a high quality VCD-ready copy. I'm sharing it on my server on IRC. I'm using a high speed 56K modem, so it should take you less than 2 days to download the whole thing. You can get the login info from my webpage on GeoCities. Make sure to view my site with Netscape Navigator bcoz Internet Explorer suxs.

The new Morning Musume song sounds awesome!  Can't wait to get my copy ;)  Although I agree with everyone else, not sure why they added the 3 new girls...I doubt they'll ever get as much exposure or become as popular as our original 5

But omg I love the outfits, everyone looks lovely!  And Asuka and Ayappe sound wonderful, they're gonna be around for quite some time :D

Michiyo's new song is cool too!  It's a little weird that they'd give her a ballad so early into her career, but I suppose they wanted to show a softer side to her.  Either way, I'm sure this will sell better than GET and help her career take off the way that it was supposed to!

I like the song! I also don't think it's very fair to our original 5 girls, who worked sooooo hard, to have three new members who didn't work as hard. Though out of the new girls, I also think that Yasuda will become the most popular. Yaguchi; she's going to be gone soon.

Also, I'm getting a bit worried; I know we like this, but do you think they'll ever make it big? I want them to do well, but I think they won't get #1 on the Oricon charts for some time.

As much as I like Morning Musume, I do think it's going to be Heike Michiyo who'll make it big and will be remembered. She DID win the contest, after all.

I'll say this: one of the new girls, Yaguchi...  doesn't she look like Piglet from "Winnie The Pooh?"

I don't know about that, but she seems really quiet. :/ I don't know what Tsunku is seeing in her, to be honest!

Tsunku is becoming arrogant, becoming the heir to "Star Tanjo" talent gurus.  I mean, he's branching off to drama acting too (Semi Double).  I guess I should record that too but S-VHS tape sure costs a lot...

Haha. I thought Tsunku was a girl and one of the members of the group!! Just found he's the guy that made this group. hahaha~
The name sounded so cute, you'd never think it would be a guy! I've never heard of him though.

It's hard to remember their names. They just have too many members. And I can't find that many homepages or pictures of them.

But I think they'll be great as long as they keep this cool song style. v^_^v
I bet TK is is thinking up a dream team to take 'em out.

I'm digging Tanpopo. What would Tsunku think of next!! Subunits, there vocal harmonies bring out the best in all three. Ayappe is so sexy!! No way she's gonna get married to any rockstar drummers!

FUCK! Lakers swept by the Jazz :banghead:

Is this like some Asian version of the Spice Girls or something? Seems like a lot of these girl singing groups are coming out these days. It's kinda weird how this one has so many members, though...three of them aren't even singing. The beat's okay...but could definitely benefit from a So So Def remix version. Jermaine Dupri's been doing a lot of good work lately with that kind of thing; he should go international.

And that other song...is that a Japanese version of that old Carpenters song? Sounds a lot like it. I'm kinda iffy about this whole J-pop thing...can't understand the lyrics and the beats are a little lightweight for my taste.

I hear you on the Lakers, daigong. What's up with that Kobe kid thinking he could just jack up shots like that? He needs to leave the shooting to Van Exel and Jones...those guys are gonna be the ones helping Shaq get his first ring, I tell you. Hopefully the Pacers can take down the Bulls.

Crap, I gotta go...I think I might be over the time limit for this AOL free trial.

Hey dai, Tanpopo wasn't around until later on in 1998.

Just a heads up, Morning Musume is appearing on a Japanese music program called 'Utaban' on the 2nd of June. I'm not sure if they'll get any airtime or if the appearance will be memorable at all but you guys might want to program your VCR's for that.
