I'm surprised by Cuba's showing. I guess those mysterious dudes really CAN play ball. I think most people were betting on the Dominicans vs the USA in the championship game.

Man, the ball is NOT carrying in the frosty Petco Park outfield tonight. Helps the pitchers; the outfield defense has added pressure now.

I think they can go up to 95 pitches in this game. Being that the longball isn't a factor tonight, it's no wonder the pitchers are dominating. Soon the managers will bust out the smallball.

Uehara strikes out the 2nd batter but the catcher caught it on the hop and had to make the putout at first. Notice that the home plate umpire called the strike but signaled "safe." The past ALCS (Anaheim-Chicago) taught all MLB umpires a little something.

What are they gonna play during the 7th inning stretch??

FWIW, Kim's Arizona Diamondbacks still won the Series after he gave up those game-winning dingers against the Yankees. So it ain't over yet.
