BoA will finally be returning to the kpop scene with her 10th anniversary comeback after a long 5 year absence!

BoA has spent most of her time promoting in Japan, and shortly in the U.S.

On March 1st, SM Entertainment revealed that BoA will be releasing a full length Korean album on August 25th. This album marks the day of her 10th anniversary since her first debut.

A SM representitive said, “There is possibility for BoA to participate as a producer for this new album to better showcase her own unique music style. It will be decided through our discussions for the album.”

He also revealed, “She will continue with her American activities. Even now, Lee Soo Man producer is seeing to BoA’s promotions in the States.”

BoA will begin preparations for her comeback following the end of her Japanese concert tour!

Are you excited for her return? I have a feeling she will be some tough competition for the all the girl idol groups when she’s back!

Some people are wondering/shocked on why they look like the SS Nazi uniforms.

They DO kind of look like SS uniforms at first, but if you really study them (there's a star on the armbands, not a swastika), they're obviously not. Maybe the costume designer created them unintentionally, or maybe even not. Japan kind of has a thing for Hitler and Nazi designs, trufax. Also, it's quite a common uniform look, so who knows.

I'm sure BoA didn't help to create or have a say in what the back-up dancers would wear anyway.

I've seen that uniform around Japanese pop culture a lot, just never with red arm bands that at first glance made me think it was to complete the nazi look.

haha, I'm sure BoA would have nothing to do with that. I don't think she can handle any more heat of this Japan Vs. Korea/WWII/Japan + Nazi Germany crap anymore.

So rumor has it that Agust 25 is the date to star on the calendar! If I'm not mistaken, that's the exact date of BoA's debut in Korea? I think it's pretty sweet that she's coming back on the same date for her 10th year anniversary. Just wish she didn't have to wait 5 years -_- I hope the Korean fans or netizens don't hold it against her when she comes back (because they constantly bring it up) that she promised she would be back in 2007 or 2008...
