UCHI APPEARED AT AN ENCORE FOR A NEWS CONCERT YOU GUYS!!!

"Isshun no Kaze ni Nare" marks Uchi's graduation from being a trainee. Johnny's currently plans for him to go forward with a solo career. Meanwhile, Kusano is still attending Hosei University, but preparations are being made for his own full-fledged return. No definite plans have been announced yet.

At the press conference, it was also revealed that Saki Fukuda will co-star with Uchi in "Isshun no Kaze ni Nare," and Ryo Nishikido will make a guest appearance.

Since the last time this thread was updated:

- Ryo and Yamapi bared all for the world to see in various magazines (à la Matsujun in an-an)
- Shige stripped during an episode of Shounen Club

- They released their newest single, Taiyou no Namida
- They also released an album (waaaay back when), Pacific
- Ryo and Uchi starred in Isshun no Kaze ni Nare
- Ryo in the drama Last Friends as an abusive boyfriend!

- Tegoshi got Friday'd

He was Friday'd with a girl in Shibuya, nothing major at all. The agency will probably pull the usual and not do anything about it (they can't punish Tego anyway, his role in the group is too important)

But nothing much happened except for the NEWS report that Uchi is back or coming back...

Well if Uchi is coming back...How about Kusano? I finally got used to it that Uchi and Kusano are gone and suddenly I hear that Uchi is coming back...I dunno how I should feel...

It's sad that this part of the forum is this quiet. How are you all other NEWS fans liking Happy Birthday? Too generic or full of awesome?
Personally it hasn't yet grown on me. I love the beginning though, maybe, like with weeek, this song will suddenly rise to my list of favorites.

I don't really like Happy Birthday, yes it's cute and yes they sing good, but it's nothing special.
I really like Ryo's voice in the b-sides (I always like his voice

) but I like it more then ever, he really have gotten better at singing

I think I've given up on NewS because they haven't really released a song I like since Sayaendo (especially the Cinderella boy c/w)... Their older songs were all likeable after 1st listen, like BANG, but none of the new songs give me that feeling. Just needs more PUNCH imo, and better themes than fricking weeks of day or birthdays

Still love the guys, but their material.. *shakes head*

So Uchi is having a solo concert. I have nothing against him coming back if he will, though I have become a fan of NEWS after both of the supensions. I just wish it wouldn't do anything bad to the group chemistry. I haven't yet listened to Color, except for Ryo's solo, which I didn't like, but will later.
