Polysics are back in the UK in February (for my birthday :D )

9/2/08 - Carling Academy Islington
10/2/08 - Barfly at The Gloucester in Brighton
11/2/08 - Carling Academy Oxford (The Zodiac)
13/2/08 - Carling Academy Liverpool

I'm not sure if there will be any more dates announced but "inside information" says they're not playing Nottingham.

Oh and Kayo was in London this week to meet up with the bassist from Say Anything cos they sorta got a thing going on since meeting on the Myspace Tour.

Ah yeah I forgot to post that, sorry. Feb 13th - Liverpool is showing up on some versions of that list. I'm formulating a plan to go to both the London and Brighton shows. Might cost me about £100 all together..... but it would be a great weekend!

i'm hoping that tuesday date is going to turn into a bristol appearance, because i've got no chance of getting to the others (and they've been here for the past 2 years, to completely packed venues!), and my friend who loves polysics just happens to be coming home from australia a few days before!

Going to the Liverpool gig that's for sure, and yes it is definitely happening. It'll be the second time watching 'em and if they're as good as they were last time it should be ace. Shame I was sick everywhere last time, still managed to remember most of the gig despite alocohol though so it must have been damn good.

I was waiting for someone else to post in here. Who else saw them in the UK? I went to the London show (which was ok but the venue was too big and it was too busy) and the Brighton show, which was a lovely little venue and we got to meet, take photos and chat with the band for what seemed like most of the night! I got to meet Yano for the first time and he was really funny. We asked him a few questions which he somehow managed to switch around into asking us to buy some merchandise :D We didn't get any pictures of them performing because we were too busy having fun but here's a collage I made of pictures from the night.

Me and my friend were the only two people dressed up at the Brighton gig so that ended up getting us a lot of attention from random people, including a bloke who wanted to take a picture of me while I was taking a piss! ARGH!

*UPDATE - Here are some cool pics from a photographer at the Brighton gig - http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g80/departurelounge/Polysics/?start=all

I seem to be the only one posting in here now :P but.... a POLYupdate for those who don't check the various POLYSICS blogs.

POLYSICS have announced the track list for their next album "We Ate The Machine" which it's thought will be released in April.

1.Moog is Love
2.Pretty Good
3.Rocket
4.機械食べちゃいました
5.DNA Junction
6.Kagayake
7.ポニーとライオン (Pony and Lion)
8.ありがとう (Thank You)
9.イロトカゲ
10.Mind Your Head
11.Digital Coffee
12.Boys & Girls
13.Blue Noise
14.Dry or Wet

and here's the slightly updated outfit...

The next single is Pretty Good. It's released on March 3rd in Japan. They were playing it at the UK shows and it sounded.... pretty good! :D

and the single cover of Pretty Good...

Aaah, I can't wait for their next single! I'm a huge Polysics fan. When they came in town I couldn't go to their concert, though... No one wanted to go with me! And I didn't want to go to downtown Dallas by myself... It's really too bad that i don't know anyone who likes that kind of music who lives around me. I'm so not missing it next time, though!

I'm planning on pre-ordering their album, also! <3

yeah i gotta hear this new single!
can't wait to hear the new album though, i wasn't a huge fan of KARATE HOUSE. so, hopefully this will be better. IMO, at least.

their new outfits look more leathery/plasticky. i like it.

i just love POLYSICS type of music it's just so fun. XD
