Nice to see she's got her own thread now, I can really see her becoming a big star in the next few years.

She also starred in the drama Gold from last year and is currently in Erika Toda's latest drama airing now, Taisetsu na Koto wa subete kimi ga oshiete kureta.

Actress Takei Emi (17) will be a lead star for the first time in an upcoming drama, temporary titled “Asuko March!“, which will start in April.
This drama is based on a ongoing manga, “Asuko March!~Kenritsu Asuka Kougyou Koukou Koushinkyoku~” (written by Akiyama Kaori), in female comic magazine, “YOU“, and it’s a story about a girl who failed her examinations and ends up going to technical high school where all of her classmates are boys.
Takei is currently playing one of the main cast members in the ‘Getsu 9′ drama, “Taisetsuna Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshietekureta“, and she is definitely one of the most remarkable young actresses.
She recently commented about being casted as the lead, “I was happy, but surprised. Although I’m little anxious to be the lead star, I also feel very excited at the same time.”
The cast for Takei’s classmates will be announced later.
