The first “Rurouni Kenshin” shown last year reportedly broke the record for any Japanese movie in the Philippines. Satoh plays a legendary assassin turned conflicted hero Kenshin Himura during Japan’s Meiji era. The Warner Bros Japan film is the first of a two-part finale of the franchise based on the popular Japanese manga “Rurouni Kenshin.”
