- French Kiss - Kakkowarui: 56334

Based on the numbers DiVa is doing great and the weekly sales should be around 85K.

Thanx for the comparision numbers, Barrie.

I'm sad anyways. I knew they wouldn't beat Katun, but I really hoped they beat Perfume and be number two. Plus, their debut number only surpasses No Sleeves and I can't see that with good eyes.

Perhaps I should be celebrating, but... I don't know.

So much has changed since the first release of WH and No3b, it would be pointless to compare it to those sales.

However, all the more power to DiVa for keeping up with the latest releases of the other units.

- Diva is still knew, whereas No3b has been around for a long time and consists of some very popular members. Beating them with a debut single is quite an accomplishment imo.
- They can still take #2 and beat Perfume... it's only a couple 1000 apart, anything can happen.

More important than numbers, DiVA has a different music style compared to all the other sub-groups.
Meaning overall AKB is now covering a bigger range of listeners.

Remember that DiVA is a Dance and Vocal unit, which is different from No Sleeves, so a direct comparison is somewhat useless!

#1 fave sub-unit = No Sleeves - NyanNyan
#2 fave sub-unit = DiVA - Yuko/Sayaka

Would love to see a "friendly" competition between No3b and DiVA

Keeping in mind that this is their debut single they did really well imo. I was expecting around 50K and they got 73K!
As far as debut sales go, only Not Yet beat them, so who knows what DiVa can achieve in the future.
