Just like DaViNCHI mentioned it's basically a new radio show for the other half of Berryz. Risako won't be appearing every week, though, if that means anything. o:

Berryz工房メンバーの強い意志

Dang, it seems like the early Berryz years were pretty cutthroat. It's like one of those back-stabbing reality shows!
I definitely remember in my own elementary school years that the different grades avoided each other like the plague, so I always did wonder how that kind of tension was resolved in Berryz at first. (Not to mention C-ute, which was probably even worse...) I don't think I ever talked to a single third grader while in sixth grade.  :sweatdrop: Even our softball teams were never more than two or grades apart.

Berryz Koubou - 2009.06.21 - Mini Concert Live in Korea 2/3

The camera work is  :tama-mad:, sorry.

Risako's voice FTW.  :w00t: Miyabi's, on the other hand...Although, it seems like Risako's was the only voice not to suffer too much from the LQ audio. I guess deeper voices don't get pitch-warped as easily.
Oh boo, they cut the Munasawagi interlude.  :tama-mad:

As much as I was happy that they did their serious songs, this concert made me feel uneasy. If they want to make an impact on the Korean scene they need to either beat the competition at what they do, or offer a different alternative. Getting railroaded into a "happy and silly fun" niche group might seem bad, but this was the other side, and there is no way they'll be able to upstage the likes of the Wonder Girls or SNSD like this.
Obviously there's the vocals issue, but more important is the dancing. They need to be scary in sync, make the poses clear and the transitions crisp, especially with the lock-based arm movements, and be able to WORK the curvy moves(think Tell Me). The mini-concert looked like a mess at first, with good choreography nixed for fist pumps  ( Scarlet interlude...), and formations reduced to "one line across the stage", which looks plain amateurish without perfect sync, and even the second half would be under-par for other Korean girl groups. The moves are there only after a second CLOSE look, which a non-fan will not give them.
And even their happy songs need GREAT dancing to back them up, as Gee showed that even bubblegum isn't exempt from needing good choreography.

I'm watching the Sono Subete no Ai ni concert with my sister... her expressions say it all XD

She's never heard of Berryz before let alone seen them - plus she's not into idol music at all - so this is and interesting experiment in the Berryz Appeal! She's nodding quite vigorously along to Yuujou Junjou oh Seishun  :D

The best thing about it though, is her reaction to the girls themselves. She hates Momoko's voice and loves Miyabi and Risako (I'm inserting the names for her here...) just like me.
Witty Comment...

Due to the 'neon lights dance club' feel of both PVs, on a whim I decided to play Big Bang's Gara Gara Go over Dakishimete Dakishimete.  Yeah, :huhuh weird, right?

[/noembed]
It fits, oddly enough. Pause the Dkdk video right before the music starts. Mute it. Start playing the GGGo video. Then start the Dkdk video again right as the music starts. Watch the Dkdk video.

Similarly, though I noted this quite a while ago, play DkDk over the[noembed] .[/noembed]  :O Again, so that the starts of the music match up. Eh? Eh?
