Segment#2: Rena X Jurina[Part2]
“I want to spend my future with you, Jurina.” Rena said as she let Jurina’s head lean on her shoulders.
Jurina had a guilty look on her face, but Rena had not noticed it. “I …” as Jurina was going to tell Rena something important, Rena interrupted Jurina by occupying Jurina’s lips with her’s.
Jurina thought to herself “Her lips are so soft. She smells so nice. Ah, I missed you, Rena. So much.” Jurina was going to tell Rena what she’s been up to in the past 4 years but she didn’t want to ruin the mood.
Meanwhile, out in the hall, the door which had a white tinted glass only showed a silhouette of two figures embracing eachother. “What the heck? What ridiculous children would be here so late afterschool?” Mariko asked to herself as she peeked open a crack to see who was in there. Mariko was shocked to see it was Rena and Jurina kissing (you’ve only been there for a day and your already in trouble? What a bad teacher, Rena).
“Oh boy,” Mariko wondered what she was going to do with this situation “If the others find out … I’m screwed.” She closed the door and entered the room beside theirs. As though she was guarding the door without suspicion. “Oh Rena, you idiot.”
As Jurina buried her face in Rena’s chest, Rena stroked her hair (I wish I could do that). “Jurina, I wont leave you this time.”
Still feeling guilty, Jurina was happy, yet she couldn’t accept it. “You can’t, Rena. You’re a teacher now, you’d lose your dream job.” She shook her head “You can’t.”
“But –“ Rena still couldn’t think of an excuse to be with Jurina other than the fact that she loved her (wow you suck at these, Rena).
“Rena, don’t think I threw everything away to be with you. I still have pride and talent. Do you even know what this school is?” Rena felt a little stupid because she was employed here yet she didn’t even know the name of this school (baka).
Jurina questioned Rena “Don’t you find it suspicious that the school’s name is Gakuen48? Or that the chairman of the school is Aki-P?”
“What?! It is?!”
Jurina face-palmed “You didn’t know?”
Rena shook her head “Nuh uh.”
“And even though I left SKE, I was moved to AKB. And this school is meant for 48 members. The idiots in our class couldn’t recognize you because they’re part of a new group called JPH!P48.” (Yes, that’s right, I couldn’t think of anything original so I used JPH!P).
“So, your saying you want me to get married?” Rena couldn’t contain her sadness because of the fact that they should not be together.
“Of course not! I never said that. I’m just saying that we shouldn’t be together like this. Because our relationship is more noticeable this way … if we were in SKE I could be all over you and no one would care. But people would find it strange for a student and a teacher to be so close to eachother, regardless of our history.”
Rena forced a smile “Yeah, your right.”
Suddenly the announcements went on “Matsui-sensei, you have a visitor in your office.”
“I guess that’s your cue to leave.”
Rena, still holding tightly onto Jurina cried out “No! I don’t want to go. I want to stay here with you.”
Jurina pushed Rena away “You can’t!” she yelled and ran out the door. And her tear drops which still floated on the air gleamed and sparkled from the shine of the sunset.
“Are you guys done now?”
“Mariko-san!” Rena was surprised of Mariko’s entrance. “So … you heard everything?”
“Hey! I’m not
that nosey! Kk, well from the part where she said you can’t give up your dream. It’s not like I wanted to eavesdrop.” Mariko said as she walked over to Rena crossing her arms.
Mariko let out a big sigh “Haa … Rena, what am I going to do with you?” the situation seems to be out of hand “Gomen na sai.” Rena bowed in apologise.
“Matsui-sensei, please come to your office. You have a visitor!” a male voice from the announcements roared.
“Really?! Who could that be?!” Rena shouted as Mariko laughed at their predicament (it’s so obvious it’s her fiancé but she’s so busy thinking of Jurina she forgot his existence).
As Rena walked to her office and bumped into
him in the halls. “Honey! Where have you been?! I’ve waited for you for so long!” He said after he gave her a hello kiss on the cheek.
“Please, not in school.” She said to him cautiously, hoping that Jurina wouldn’t see the affection he just gave to her.
“Are you done here? Lets get your things and go!” he said cheerfully, not even noticing Rena’s worried expressions (he’s a nice guy but a bit oblivious).
“I can’t. I have … umm … work to mark.” Rena quickly said (and clearly, it was an excuse not to go), because Rena wanted to find Jurina. She didn’t want things to end like that.
“Aww but why? We’re getting married in 12 days! What am I going to tell our parents if we don’t show up to dinner tonight?” he whined.
“What?! Your parents are coming?! You never told me anything about that!” Rena didn’t want to be troubled by all of this. Her head was only filled with Jurina. “Where is she right now? I want to go see her. Is she crying? I can’t keep on making her cry.” She kept thinking to herself.
“Well … technically I did tell you, because I texted you last evening, remember?” he said in a lonely tone. He was sad that his soon to be wife didn’t bother checking his text.
Rena looked at her phone and it was there. “Oh sorry! I’ve been busy with school.” And this was true, she tried hard to study the names of her students on the attendance and managed to remember the As to the Hs. “I’m sorry, you’ll just have to go alone. I … I have something important I have to do.” She said with confidence in finding Jurina. She took her coat and ran out the school.
She looked everywhere until she finally found Jurina sitting on the swings of a nearby park.
“Jurina!” Rena shouted as she ran towards her.
Jurina tried leave and ran away but she wasn’t fast enough and Rena caught her by the wrist “Wait! Jurina, why are you avoiding me?” Rena tried to convince Jurina to stay and listen to her.
Shouting with the tears running down her cheeks “Why don’t you just go back to your fiancé?!”
“You saw?” Rena thought to herself “Man, I’m the worst.” She didn’t know what to do so she acted on her feelings “Jurina, I don’t even love him. I love you.”
Jurina shook her head “No, you’re lying. You’re only saying that out of sympathy.”
Rena held Jurina in her arms to reassure her that it was true “No, I’m being honest.”
And Jurina knew Rena was being honest and knew that her feelings were true, she just couldn’t be with Rena because she didn’t want Rena to give up her dream. “But you’re a teacher, and a girl. Nobody will give us their blessing.”
“It’ okay. I don’t need to be a teacher. My dream was to give hopes and wishes, not necessarily be a teacher,” she said as she petted the worrying head on shoulders “They will just have to face the fact that the person I love is a girl who’s extremely cute and worries a lot. I don’t want you to stop me from loving you, just because of how prejudice other people are.”
Jurina couldn’t hold back her tears and was so happy she tightly held Rena “Okay, Rena. I will be a good girl then.” meaning she will accept their relationship without worrying what other people thinks (about time).
A few days past and everything was about normal. No one noticed their relationship and went about their average routines, but every lunch time in that private room with the white tinted door there’s always a silhouette.
“You’re going to get married in 4 days and you still haven’t told him.” Jurina pouted.
Rena chuckled “I told my parents and his parents, but it’s harder to tell him because …” (because what Rena?) “Because he’s sensitive to those kinds of things.” (yeah, but who cares? He wasn’t even important enough to have a name in Mari07’s fic >_>)
The day of the wedding. Everyone attended except for Jurina and … the groom?!
It appears that Jurina has tied the groom in his underwear and has stolen his tuxedo (oh my :S).
“It’s a little big, but it’ll do.”
In the ceremonial hall everyone whispered in curiosity where the groom could be. “He shouldn’t keep his bride waiting.” They said.
And then, in that moment you could hear the huge doors creak open. Crrrrk.
Walking in was a girl with a smirk on her face wearing a baggy tuxedo.
“Sorry to keep you waiting, my darling.” She bowed to her bride in waiting.
“Jurina …” Rena said with tears of joy.
The priest was shocked “What? What is this blasphemy?!” he jumped.
“Oh my god.” Mariko face-palmed and shook her head.
The two held hands and ran down the aisle giggling to one another.
“How did you like the performance?” Mariko asked the audience.
“Oh, that would explain why their parents aren’t here!” everyone agreed.
The students who attended were confused. "I knew it, as expected of an all girls' school" (Ishida Anna said that?!)
Mariko sighed and found the tied groom (and I don’t know what she did with him).
Jurina smiled to Rena “Jurina, I thought you would miss it. You had me worried!” Rena said in relief, Jurina laughed “That’s ridiculous! I would never marry off my Rena to some loser!”
