Probably because the 'code' tag ignores Unicode characters? In any case, '￥' is typed with '\' on the keyboard, which may be the reason behind it.

And holy rich wotas. :panic: Though it's probably not accurate, since buying the single wasn't the only method of obtaining a voting ticket.

Wished Yuko would be top again , damn sad that didn't come true. What surprised me even further is that Sae didn't make top ten! And Sayaka also getting only 17 :(
But I am wondering whether a a full video download/torrent would be released for the senbatsu 2011??

^Those were only 20 minutes iirc, but the whole thing was released on AKB48 DVD Magazine Volume 1 (IIRC).

So far, the Ariyoshi special showed the most footage, so definitely check that out. Secondly, I bet the whole thing will be on another DVD mag, but no official word or time frame on that release yet.

^ Actually, Volume 1 was the 2009 election results.  Volume 4 was the one for 2010.

But yeah, I'd be surprised if these results didn't show up on a future volume.
