Candace Bailey (born May 20, 1982) is an American actress known for roles on Nickelodeon, the TV series Jericho, and as of January 2011 is a co-host to Attack of the Show!.

Bailey played Skylar Stevens on the CBS series Jericho from 2006-08.[1] Prior to that, she was on Nickelodeon's U-Pick Live from 2002-2005.

Other TV appearances have included episodes of Ghost Whisperer (January 2010, Episode 5.12), The Sopranos, Robot Chicken, As the World Turns, Slime Time Live, and a co-hosting slot on a kids-focused 2004 Super Bowl pre-game show.

On January 11, 2011, Bailey joined Kevin Pereira as the new co-host of Attack of the Show!.

Bailey is a graduate of Gulf Breeze High School near Pensacola, Florida. She also attended Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. She is also a former Junior Olympic gymnast.

Where are you from?

I was originally born in Birmingham, Alabama...but moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida at the age of two. I lived there through high school, and moved to NY for school/acting after that.

How did you get the gig?

I wanted to be an actress for as long as I can remember. I used to ask my mom when I could be on TV and she thought I was crazy. But when a modeling convention came into town, she, my sister and I went. We got picked to join a modeling company in NY, and went that summer (when I was 12). When I was in college, I went on my first hosting audition. It was for a show on Nickelodeon called U Pick Live. I ended up booking that job, and that's where I realized my love for hosting, as well as acting. My first year of living in LA, I booked a pilot and a show on CBS called Jericho. Unfortunately, the writers strike killed Jericho after a year...but it had such a cult following, that the fans went nuts and sent thousands of pounds of NUTS to CBS, and con- vinced them to pick it back up. However, even through all the efforts, the show only lasted another 7 episodes, and was finished. After Jericho, while auditioning for other acting jobs, I realized how much I missed the hosting aspect of the business, and decided to try and get back into it. I auditioned with G4 a couple of times, and they sent me on a job to Vulcan, Canada

What's your favorite thing about Kevin?

His ability to draw you in and make you want to listen to what he's saying. He's very bright and quick...he ALWAYS has a smart remark. I love that!! On top of that, he's a doll. He's had my back since day one, and I just feel very fortunate to be able to work with him every day now. I think we're going to have a lot of fun together!

What's your trickiest dismount?

I was always best with twists in gymnastics. I could be a foot off the floor, and twist like it was no one's business! I'd say my most difficult dismount was a quadruple twisting quadruple back, while landing in a handstand, on one hand, with my legs in a split position. I still don't know if anyone's ever done it to this day.

If you had an ice cream flavor named for you, what would be in it?

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my sweets. It's actually kind of a problem. I eat candy or cookies or dessert multiple times a day. I think it would be vanilla bean ice cream with brownies, caramel, strawberries, and nuts, mixed together...with whipped cream and another drizzle of caramel on top. It would be named Sweet Candcoction.

What would you cosplay as?

Next time I cosplay, I am dressing as CATWOMAN. She is so badass! Ever since I saw the movie, I wanted to be her. I think it had something to do with the flips she could do and how hot she looked in that tight black suit...and I think Michelle Pfeiffer is one of the most gorgeous women alive. I can do the flips, now I just gotta get the suit. Bring back the latex!!!!

What are you bringing to AOTS?

Well, I did a live show years back for Nickelodeon. The vibe was actually very similar to that of Attack of the Show. However, because it was Nickelodeon (and for children) we weren't able to do most of the things that I can do here. But they did put me through the ringer over there (in a good way) and I think it paved the way for me to get this job. I definitely don't hold back and am not afraid to look like a fool. This is who I am. I'm a huge dork!

What's playing on your iPod right now?

An artist that I will constantly listen to is James Taylor. He just never gets old to me. I remember seeing him live in concert when I was twelve years old. We had floor seats and were so close to him. I was blown away. I finally say him again this year at the Hollywood Bowl and it may have been my favorite concert ever. His music just really makes me smile.

What would we be surprised to know about you?

My nickname is Cackie. It doesn't really have too much meaning behind it. When I was an infant, my mom started calling me Cackie, and every time she said the word, I'd crack up. So it stuck. To this day, my family and childhood friends still call me Cackie.

Candace is fuckin' hilarious. I never really watched AOTS that much, mostly just if they had an interesting segment, but lately I've been sitting to watch the whole show.

^Hell yeah, man. I bust out laughing so hard at some of the things she does/says. It makes me worried about drinking while watching. One of my favorite moments deserves its own post.

^That shit was hilarious. I didn't start watching AOTS regularly until after Candace started, but from what I've seen of Olivia, I think Candace is just as funny. (Maybe funnier)

candace is funny in part cuz of her ditzyness and wtf moments (i think at least once a day kevin is like  :huhuh cuz of something she says or does lol) and even more when she gets hopped up on redbulls  XD...olivia was funny but in a different way, i can't really explain it properly but yeah...tbh i was kinda worried when they were looking for a new co-host, cuz i was afraid that they were gonna choose someone who didn't really fit with the geek/dorkyness of the show.
