CHAPTER 20:
AT THE CLUBHOUSE- LOUNGE ROOM
Jun arrived at the clubhouse tired and exhaust as he tried to look everywhere for Rena. He dragged himself to go upstairs to his room, but as he walks the hallway, the door at the lounge room where open, where Tomo, Kuu and Riku was just chatting, until they saw him, drained and worn out.
“Hey, Jun!” They called. When Jun ignore them and continue to walk, the guys hurriedly stood up from their seat and went to his side.
“Hey, what happened? I thought you’re at some party with Rena?” Kuu asked.
“I screw up.”Jun weakly said
“What do you mean??? What did you do?” Riku worriedly asked
“Come on guys, before we start asking questions, we should let him sit first.”Tomo said as he help Jun to walk to the couch together with Riku.
“Ok, I’ll get us some cold drinks and food too.” Kuu dash to the kitchen, which is just next door, looking for some cold drinks and food. Then minutes later, Kuu came back with a cart full of food and cold drinks.
Jun told them what happened as they eat and drink. He told them about how he totally forgot about Rena when he saw and catch up with his first love, Watanabe Mayu for the first time since she left a few years ago. How he called her phone, her friends and her home phone. How he’d looked for her for hours, every place he knew she would go to even at her house, but he couldn’t find her.
“Someone’s maybe helping her to hide from you, cuz if not; you could have found her already.”Tomo said
“Yah maybe…….”Jun just sigh
“Do you know anyone that might help her, aside from her closest friends and family?”Tomo asked
“No, but I got the feeling that her butler is acting suspicious.” Jun remembering how the butler acted when he come to Rena’s house.
“But it’s really stupid of you Jun.” Kuu said
“Hey, Kuu is there a need to rub the salt on the wound?”Tomo glared at Kuu.While Kuu just rolled his eyes.
“So what are you plans now, Jun?” Tomo asked
“I don’t know, isn’t why we’re here talking. So you guys could help me.”Jun losing hope
“I would love to help you Jun but you know I also have my own problem too.”Tomo sadly said
“Speaking of that, how are things with you and Tomo~mi?” Jun asked
“No progress at all, she hasn’t picked up her phone and even when I called at her house, the maid only answers it.” Tomo sigh
“What about Tomoka-san? Did you talk to her, about the engagement?” Kuu asked
“Ahh, yah, we talked about that. “Tomo massaging his migraine
“So, what did she said?” Kuu pressing on the matter
“She was also surprise and didn’t think that will be engaged to each other. This is all planned by both of our fathers. She was surprise that one week
before my party, my old man and her father both call her and asked her to come home without explaining reason. “Tomo sigh again.
“So did Tomoka-san agreed to the engagement?”Jun asked
“No, she didn’t and I already cancelled it too! “Tomo said
“What about your and Tomo~mi’s father, what did they say about it?” Jun asked
“I don’t know, I’ve only talked with Tomoka-san about it. I’m too angry to talk to them right now. My priority is to fix this misunderstanding with
Tomo~mi then I’ll tell them about me and her.”Tomo said
“What! You never told them about you and Tomo~mi! Now I know why Tomo~mi’s isn’t answering you phone call and also hiding from you!”Kuu shocked at what he heard.
“You’re unbelievable Tomo….”Jun also surprised
“Look, I’ve got a reason why I didn’t tell them about my relationship with Tomo~mi ok!”Tomo retort
“And what’s this reason you’re talking about? Care to enlighten us?” Kuu mocking Tomo
“What do you know! You brainless pig!” Tomo getting angry
“What do I know?! Ok, I’ll tell you what I know you coward! “Kuu retort back
“Don’t call me coward, you coward!”Tomo itching to punch Kuu on the face
“Ok, guys enough with that.”Riku stood up from his seat and cooly seperate Tomo and Kuu
“So why didn’t you tell them, Tomo?”Jun asked it this time once the Kuu and Tomo calm down
“I, I know this may sound silly, but don’t laugh ok! I’ll kill anyone who dares!”Tomo threatens
“Yah! Yah! Just spill it already!”Kuu get impatient, Tomo glared at him but Kuu just ignore him
“It’s just, introducing a girl to your family means that you’ll marry her. That’s why I still haven’t introduce Tomo~mi to my family yet. I’m still not sure
if, I want to marry her and spend my whole life with her.”Tomo shyly confess
Jun and Riku quickly covered Kuu’s mouth before he starting laugh, but to their surprise Kuu didn’t and he suddenly looked serious, Jun and Riku slowly pulled their hands from Kuu’s mouth.
“Well, after what happen do you still doubt that she isn’t the right one?”Kuu looked at him in the eye
“I know that! But…..”Tomo a little bit hesitant
“Then, there’s your answer. As cheesy as this may sound, don’t think about unnecessary things and just follow your heart.”Kuu said.
“I know what Tomo feels but, you know Kuu, it’s not easy.” Riku said
“Ok, I know I’m not the best example to give this advice to you guys, So why not take Kai’s example instead? Do you remember what Kai said to his father more than a week ago?”Kuu asked
“Of course, we remember it. “ Jun, Riku and Tomo said in unison
“But we are not Kai…..”Jun said
“I know we are not Kai, but you know it wouldn’t really hurt to be serious and stop caring what people will think of us just once….”Kuu just sigh
The guys suddenly become quiet, taking in all what they just talked about and re-think about their points of views. After sometime they heard someone running down the hallway and shouting ‘Rikunyan’. Then seconds later, Yuko happily snuggled to Riku.
“Rikunyan I missed you!” Yuko smelling Riku.
“Missed me? I was just with you helping you practice a few hours ago.”Riku said as he didn’t really mind Yuko smelling him unlike before, but from time to time his tsundere character will appear and wouldn’t let Yuko do her perverted things to him
“Yah, I know that, but I really missed you!” Yuko still smelling Riku. The others just watch and quietly laugh at them
“Ohh, you guys are here.”Yuko just notice the guys
“I’ve been here since the beginning Yuko.”Jun just rolled his eyes
“Ohh really?!” Yuko doesn’t really care
“Yah, but you only got eyes for Riku that you didn’t really notice us.”Tomo simply said
“Sure, so what were you guys doing?”Yuko looking comfortably and satisfied as she just finish smelling her Riku.
“Just talking a few things, and what about you, don’t you have to practice? The summer Olympics is getting nearer. And what about Sayaka, she let you out….no I doubt that. Did you sneak out?”Riku showering Yuko with question one after another, worried that because of him, Yuko is getting distracted, and he wouldn’t forgive himself if Yuko lose to this upcoming summer Olympic because of him.
“Don’t worry about it Riku, and for the record I didn’t sneak out. Sayaka actually us give a break, since too much training and practice isn’t really good. We also need to rest, cuz if we tired ourselves so much, things can happen and complicate matters more.”Yuko explain.
“So now that’s settled, how about we all go out tonight, let’s party!”Yuko happily suggested. The guys looked gloomy. Yuko knew about Tomo’s case but with Jun not yet.
“What’s with that face Jun! Tomo is one thing but you? What happened?” Yuko asked Riku and Kuu
“Well, he and Rena got a little misunderstanding.”Kuu said
“Ohh, well, I guess this is bound to happen. Since Shiriri-chan comes back together with Sayaka like weeks ago.”Yuko nodding as she understands Jun’s dilemma
“Why didn’t you warn me then Yuko-chan!”Jun said shout
“Hey, chill Jun; you know how busy Yuko is right now! And it’s not really her fault! You’re the down who ignore and forgot about Rena.”Riku voice a little bit angry but control.
“I’m sorry Jun-chan! I’ll try to talk with Rena, Ohhh… I know, how about I invite her tonight.”Yuko suggested
“You’ll do that, Yuko-chan?”Jun suddenly looked hopeful
“Then Yuko, since you’re calling the girls, can you call Tomo~mi for me too?”Tomo who’s been quiet for awhile spoke.
“Of course! Hold on, let me call Rena first.”Yuko dialed Rena’s number, as Yuko dialed Rena’s number, Kuu’s already sent an email to Sae, asking if he
and Yukirin will come with them tonight at Master’s bar-club.
Ring Ring*
“Hello?” a cracky and a bit hoarse voice answer the phone as it’s like been crying for awhile now
“Rena-chan?”Yuko asked, unsure of the voice who answered the phone
“Yah, what is it Yuko-san?” Rena sniff
“Hey, are you crying? Is everything alright? Do you want to talk about it?” Yuko asked. The boys silently listen.
“I’m fine, is there something wrong Yuko-san?”Rena doesn’t really want to talk about what happened a few hours ago.
“If you say so, say are you free tonight? “Yuko asked
“Ummm….”Rena don’t know what to say
“Come on! Let’s go out tonight! Let’s forget about our problems and just party! OK! Riku and I will pick you up at your house around 7pm. Ok! Then see
you later!”Yuko without waiting for Rena’s reply hang up the phone.She then looked up at Jun and beamed at him.
“Is she coming?”Jun asked
“It doesn’t matter whether she wants to come or not, I’ll drag her with us, I told her, me and Riku will come to her house and pick her up around 9pm.”Yuko smile to him
“Yuko-chan you’re really quite something.”Jun beam at her, now he got a chance to explain himself to Rena.
“Now, I’ll call Tomo~mi.”Yuko said as she dialed Tomo~mi’s number this time.
Ring Ring*
“Hello! Yuko-chan!”Tomo~mi excited greeted Yuko
“Hey, are you free tonight wanna go out and have some fun!”Yuko getting excited too
“Totally, I’m getting bored here! Chiyuu. The usual place right?”Tomo~mi asked
“Of course, meet us there around 9:30pm?”Yuko said
“Ohh sure, Bye, see you in a bit!”Tomo~mi happily said.
Tomo, who’s been looking at Yuko the whole time she’s talking with Tomo~mi waited for Yuko to tell him whether Tomo~mi will come or not.
“I didn’t even put much effort!”Yuko showed Tomo a victory sign
“Thanks Yuko! “Tomo went to Yuko’s side and kiss her on her cheeks as thanks and Riku glared at him but Tomo just ignore it, he’s really happy right now that nothing can make his mood.
“Hey, Kuu did you email Sae and Yukirin ?”Yuko turn her attention to Kuu
“Yah I did, I just got their reply just now, they said they’ll come . They will just meet us there.”Kuu said
“What about Mariko-sama and Kai and Acchan??”Yuko asked
“Well, Mari-chan will definitely come, but Kai and Acchan, I don’t know. Ok now I’ll go and tell Mari-chan about it, so see yah there guys.”Kuu walking towards the door.
“Yah, see you there, now, I’ll go and get myself ready too.”Tomo stood up from his chair and starting heading to his room
“We’ll see each other there.”Jun followed Tomo out of the lounge room.
“Let’s just leave those two; they haven’t seen each other in awhile seen Kai’ been acting so emo for the last few days.”Riku said.
“I guess so…Now time to get ready too.”Yuko get off of Riku and starts heading towards Riku’s room
“Where are you going Yuu-chan? I thought you’re going to get ready too?”Riku knew Yuko’s up to something.
“Of course, Rikunyan will help me get ready.”Yuko grinning mischievously
Riku just rolled his eyes as they head for his room.
