Part 28 END10 years later…“Mom!!!! Nami’s not playing nice.” a child whines to her mother running from the other room.
“What is it Atsu? What did Nami do this time?”
“Nami Takahashi Maeda, get in here right this instance!” Atsuko yelled out to her other daughter.
Nami walks into the room with her head hung low from the fear of getting yelled at.
“Now, Atsu tell mommy what Nami did.”
“Well..we were play getting married and she won’t let me be the bride.” Atsu pouted.
“Oh, is that all?” Atsuko chuckled.
“But mom..I really want to be the bride and wear the dress!” Nami opposed.
“Girls let’s have a talk.” Atsuko sat them on the couch with both daughters on opposite side of her.
“Now, now. It doesn’t matter who gets to be to be the bride or wear the dress, as long as you love the person. Am I right?”
Both girls smiled. “Like how you love Papa?” Atsu asked.
“Un..”Atsuko nodded
“What was yours and papa’s wedding like?” Nami added.
Atsuko blushed because all the memories came back to her.
*FLASHBACK*“Atsuko, will you take Minami to be your lawful wedded wife?”
“I do.”
“And Minami, will you take Atsuko to be your lawful wedded wife also?”
“I do.” Minami smiles despite wearing a tux she had not agreed to wear.
“If anyone can show just cause why this couple cannot be legally joined in marriage, let them speak now or forever hold their peace."
Everything was in complete silent.
“Okay then, Now you may kiss.”
Minami blushes and leans in for the kiss.. before their lips touched..
“I object!” someone yelled out.
The crowd was stirred up trying to see where it’s coming from.
“Miichan?” Minami was confused with her best friend actions.
“Minami, I'm glad you won her heart but if you ever hurt her I will hunt you down and kill you!” Miichan says in a terrorizing way.
Minami’s face went pail cause of fear. ”Don’t worry, I promise not to hurt her.. I love her too much.” Minami smiles..
“Okay, let’s get on with the ceremony. Again, Now you may kiss”
Minami was really happy this is happening, they’re finally going to be married. She again leans in for the kiss…
“I object!” another person screamed out in tears.”
“Mom!!!!!!!!!!!!” Atusko whined.
“I’m sorry, it’s just that my little girl is growing up and leaving us..” her mother sobbed.
“I don’t want you to stay here in New York.” She frowns..
“Mom, I promise I will visit whenever you want.”
“On demand?” her mom stopped crying and asked innocently.
“Yes mother…”
“Okay..if there are no other objections, let’s get on with the ceremony.”
“For the third time, Now you may kiss”
Before their lips met.
“I object!”
“WHAT NOW!????” Minami yells in anger with a terrifying look.”
“I just wanted say that hehe!” Yuko chuckled, although scared at the same time.
“Okay..if there are no other objections, let’s get on with the ceremony. Now you may kiss”
Minami hurried and closed the gap between the two before someone can object again.
They kissed slowly and very passionately.
*FLASHBACK ENDS*“Honey I’m home!” Minami yells out entering the front door.
“Hi kids! Look who I brought here today.”
“Auntie Tomochin!” the girls yelled in unison and ran to her for a bear hug.
“Papa, mommy was just telling us about your wedding day.”
“Heyyyyy, what did I tell you guys about calling me papa, its mommy also!”
“But you look and act like a papa” Nami shrugged.
“Wow, I can’t even tell you girls apart anymore!” Tomochin says while tickling them. The girls giggled constantly. ”Auntie Tomo..I’m Nami!” “And I’m Atsu.” They said trying to gasp for air.
“The perks of being twins huh?” Atsuko laughed.
“So what did we learn today?” Minami asks her kids.
“That it doesn’t matter who gets to wear the dress or be the bride as long as you love the person you’re marrying.” The twins again said in unison.
“WHAT!??? SHE SAID THAT!???” Minami shouted. Minami stood there with FAILLLLLLLLL written all over her face.
“You forced me to wear that tux although we agreed to both wear dresses! What happen to as long as you love each other it doesn’t matter what we wear??”
I always get my way.” Atsuko smirked.
ENDA/N: the twins are tomochin's biological kids from a sperm donor..she let atsumina adopt them.
