^ Nice shot of the goods booth when they actually had stuff there.

Damn thing sold out of everything but the CDs after like 50 people (and a lot of stuff after like 10). I was at right around #50... and it still took over 2 hours to get through the line. Then the banner signing....
I have to say, aside from the nice idea with the premium passes (more on that later), this con seems rather horribly run to me, lol. It's like they have absolutely no idea what to expect. At the banner signing, WHILE THE GIRLS WERE SIGNING, one of the chairs of the con comes up and yells "YOU CAN'T GROUP HERE! YOU ALL HAVE TO LEAVE! NOW!" ......as if this wasn't like a scheduled event that any idiot would expect more than a few people to show up to. Well I just have to say, if we can't group where is available, move your damn booth to a better location!!! And while you're at it, get some more damn merchandise in stock!!!
Sorry... It's been a rough couple days in some ways lol. There was Ruby Tuesday last night too... but I don't wanna get into that. Suffice it to say I'll never be setting foot near there again.
Berryz were awesome though, of course. Although I was one of the last to get a bag & CD (before bags sold out), I did manage to get 2 raffle tickets (for the banner) and the priority autograph wristband... though it seems pretty much everyone got one, so we'll still have a nice line for it tomorrow (and it's immediately after the Q&A too... how convenient. Seems at least some people will skip at least most of the Q&A). I also got one of the random signed clear files with the CD, and... it was with Miyabi's signature
Speaking of Miyabi, I am now under the delusion the girl is in love with me.

(Well, maybe not quite that, but...) She was pointing me out to Chinami at the banner signing and whispering something to her before tilting her head and waving... Then she waved and smiled more at me as we were forced to leave. This is of course after Sakuracon, which I think she's remembering me from, when I had a good bit of interaction with her and knew I was at least somewhat memorable there lol. Ok, enough of that >.> lol.
Tonight was the concert!!! I just flew in from it and boy are my arms tired... lol, or well, my legs. Of course that makes the joke not make sense...
But of course the concert was awesome, and the VIP pass thing did work well (although it's a money sink), since we didn't have to really worry at all about lining up. I thought a bit negative at first about not being grouped with the normal people you hang out with (since it's all done by when you bought the pass, and apparently when they received payment from your bank too), but I happened to meet some cool people, one who was thankful for the blog translations I do and reads them every day, another who says he'll start reading now, and I also met B.G. of
maimilog, who overheard us talking about his site from just down the line!!! We know each other online kinda as we both do C-ute blog translations, so it was another cool meet-up!
The concert was just over an hour long, with an encore of the fan vote winner Jiriri Kiteru and Girls Times, and we had our (now traditional) Berryz riot through the halls of the con and out onto the lawn.

We were being photographed by many people the whole time, so I'm sure you'll see videos of it popping up soon...
Well, that's all for now. Q&A, signing, and banner giveaway tomorrow!!! Wonder how many things will go wrong with those... Apparently we won't be able to group up to watch the banner giveaway, for one...
