Chapter 02
Meet the other members
Aachan’s POVWe went to their headquarters located in manga café. We went to room number 48 and one of them typed something in computer. The floor opened which make us fall and sliding in a tube going to underground.
“a a “ I shouted but a hand covers my mouth to stop me from shouting.
“shhh, they might here us” takamina said
“gomen” I whispered
After few seconds we arrived on the place.
“wow this is wide and it’s so wonderful” I said
The headquarters was wide. It was painted with white with a lot of gadgets and machines. There is also a wide screen where a lot of equations or formulas are written. We continue walking and heard someone.
“this time it will be tigers” a girl with a long hair said while painting tigers in her drawing book and said “there will be life” while swinging the drawing book
“roar” the tigers from the book was brought to life
“c’mon attack me” the tall girl said while getting her weapons at her back. She pressed something on her weapons and it changed its sizes and features. It became swords.
The tigers attack her and just a few seconds it became an ink. It was sliced by those sharp swords that the girl is holding.
“mayu, yuki please gather in the assembly area. We have a visitor or we found a person who is the same with us” Takamina ordered
“alright, Yuki let’s do your sword training later ok?” the girl who drew the tigers said
“ok, no problem” the tall girl responded
“oh by the way where are the tomotomo?” Kojima asked
“they are in the their training room near the assembly area” the tall girl replied
We again continue walking and stop to the room where the tomotomo are staying.
“tomochin take a bath now” a girl shouted
“stop it, don’t you ever dare to do it tomo~mi or else I will make you a frozen human” the other girl whined
“hahaha you are so cute when you are angry, here” the girl named tomo~mi said while forming a water balls in her hands and shouted “water balls” and swing her arms multiple times to the direction of the girl named tomochin.
The girl named tomochin just covered her face while accepting the water balls that makes her totally wet.
“I told you not to do it” tomochin angrily said and shouted “storm gust” an icy storm was developed in the room which make the temperature below 0.
“hey what is going on here?why is it so cold grrr” yuko said while quivering
“it’s freezing here” takamina stated
“it’s tomo~mi’s fault, she wanted me to take a bath and use her power to me. Look I’m soaking wet” tomochin responded
“I was just teasing you, hmmp ok alright here” tomochin said while placing her both hand to the direction of tomochin and said “wind manipulation level 3”
“thanks, now I’m dry” Tomochin said
“wow nice hairstyle hahaha” Yuko teasingly said
“shut up squirrel” tomochin responded
“alright enough for that, let’s go now to assembly area coz Mocchi sensie is now waiting for us and someone here don’t know what is happening to her” takamina said while looking at me
“alright, alright” they both said and headed to the assembly area
Everybody took their own sits and a tall girl with a laboratory suit pressed something and a wide screen appeared.
“let’s start now the meeting about the event coz you are now complete” the tall girl with lab suit said
“wait, what event? And what is this complete thing about?” I asked with a confused look
“it’s an event for people like you” she replied
“Mocchi sensie she still in shock, she don’t have information about this. I think her parents hide it from her” Yuko said
“oh, I see, sorry for that well let me explain you about your situation” the girl named Mocchi said.
“you, including these people around except me, do have powers. It’s to prevent the world from alien invasion. The scientists who study about superhuman abilities, the ones that made you like that, made an event called “the survival”. Each group must have 8 members. You must complete the 5 oridecons and combine it to make the emperium which will allow you to make a wish but as you can see this group is incomplete. They need you to complete this group” Mocchi sensie stated
“but” I said
“sorry, it’s part of your destiny. You can’t run away anymore. It’s a cruel part of people like you, the products of their study. I’m sorry about this but there is no backing out. This is my obligation, to register this group to that event. I also have to watch you, to train you and to guide you so that you will survive this game. This is my destiny and I can’t run away with it because my parents are also scientist. It’s hard to see people die in front of me or testing some newly born children. I’m lucky that I was assigned on this group who have a wish to end up this kind of suffering that we have” mocchi sensie explained
“we can end this suffering of ours? Or changed this unwanted destiny?” I asked
“yes, if you can beat the other groups and complete the oridecons that I told you about earlier” Mocchi sensie responded
“I’m still confuse about this” I said
“don’t worry, I will help you and answer your questions” takamina smilingly said
“what is her power?” yuki asked
“ohh she can move things or people through her mind” Kojima answered
“it’s called telekinesis but we still have to do some study about it so that we can really give the right answer. I mean there is another one power called psychokinesis which she can still use telekinesis and other powers for example teleportation” Mocchi sensie informed
“cool, I want to copy that but it’s hard coz it involves mind. I can only copy power that can be seen with my naked eyes” yuki said
“better luck next time yuki” mayu teasingly said
“by the way what are their powers?” I asked Mocchi sensie
“oh sorry for not telling you, Mayu who is sitting next to kojima is an animation user. She can bring her drawing into life”

“The girl next to Mayu is Yuki. She can absorb or mimic the powers of others but only the powers that can be seen to naked eyes. It must not involve mind”
“welcome to the group”
“the girl beside you is tomo~mi, she can manipulate 2 elements, the water and air”
“want to take a bath? hahaha”
“and the girl who is sitting next to her is Tomochin, she can make you a frozen human or make the temperature of this room below 0 in short she is a cold and ice manipulator”
“do you feel hot? Do you want me to make the temperature cold?”
“hi nice to meet you, I’m Maeda Atsuko but you can call me Aachan and to your question tomochin, thanks but the temperature is fine”
“ok now all of you knows each other now. Let’s now begin the meeting and decide the schedule for your group training. It will be Akicha who will train you for 2 months and a half before the event. The event is fast approaching and I would like you to concentrate on your abilities and on how you plan and also for fighting without using powers. The first part of the event is the elimination round until 5 groups are left. Each of the 5 groups who won the elimination round will be given 1 oridecon. After that the groups will be sent to a place called “the survival forest”. All you have to do there is to fight with other groups and steal their oridecon. It means the last group standing will win the event and have the chance to wish. As of now your rival is Mariko’s team. The training will start tomorrow. Ok dismiss” Mocchi sensie informed
“and takamina please guide Aachan to that place” Mocchi sensie added
“but I have to go home” I said
“no, this is your home now Aachan. Members of the group must live in one particular place” Takamina stated
“don’t worry about your parents. I will inform them that you are here” Mocchi sensie told me
“let me lead you the way” takamina politely said
We passed by some rooms and Takamina always type codes in the middle right part of every room. It’s like it have passwords on it. We are still walking now for 8 minutes until we reached a room with a name “HOME” on it. It still needed something for us to enter but this time it’s not a code or something but a hand print. Takamina puts her hand on the given space on the middle right and immediately the device scanned it.
“Hand print matched. Ms. Takahashi Minami welcome to “HOME”
The device stated and opened the door
“it’s cool” I muttered
“I know, later I’ll tell Mayu to put your hand print on that device coz she is the only one who is obsessed with technology and knows the codes and equations for that” Takamina said
“ohh, alright, thanks and wow this place is beautiful. It’s like you are really in your home” I said amused
“this is our favourite part of this underground headquarters. That is why we call it “Home” Takamina informed
“ohh I see, by the way why there are only 4 rooms here? We’re 8 right?” I asked
“hehe, it’s just that they decided it to have only 4 rooms because to tell you the truth those 6 members that you met are in a relationship with each other. Kojima and Yuko, Mayu and Yuki and the TomoTomo” she explained
“whaat? Like for real?” I was shock
“yeah for real, don’t worry you are not out of place coz I’m here” she shyly said
“what do you mean by that?”
“oh nothing I mean, I’m also single” –(geeez I thought I can make my move- takamina’s thought)
“so this is our room. My bed is in the left corner and yours will be the right. You also have your own study table. Don’t be worry about your clothes just open that wardrobe near your study table and find some clothes that will suits you and that other door is for shower room.
“ok, thanks, I will take a bath first. Thanks for guiding me” I said while bowing
“alright, we will just wait you in the dining area for dinner” she said and closes the door.
After I took a bath I headed to dining area and meet the other members. We ate our delicious meat feast dinner and had some chats with each other. We got to know each other more. The night got deeper and we went to our rooms.
“takamina don’t turn off the lights”
“I can’t sleep if the light is on”
“I can’t sleep if the light is off, so please turn on the light”
“why you can’t sleep if the light is off?”
“I’m afraid”
“but I can’t sleep if the light is on”
“if that’s the case can I sleep beside you? I’m afraid of being alone in darkness. I can’t also sleep without someone beside me. I always sleep at my parent’s room. Please?”
“alright but the light must be off”
“alright thanks, uhmm can I hug you?”
“you have lots of request Aachan but ok fine if it will make us both fall asleep”
