Thanks for leaving comments, thank yous, or even just reading my lame, crappy fic! I can't thank you enough!     So here's the next update! The second part of Ch5. I was saying before that I'll be introducing new people in the next update, but I actually meant the next chapter. I'm sorry if I disappoint you guys, but hope you have fun with this one. Douzo!


Chapter 5 Part 2




A train passed by some beautiful sceneries with a very moderate speed. Two girls were looking out the window next to them. They seemed to be enjoying the scenery, but they were actually in their own world. One of them was smiling, sometime blushing, and then was smiling again, while the other one was in a very confused state, and sometime she looked pale. They both were sitting in the First Class of the train with no one else there. Well, they actually paid for the whole carriage just for them, that explained why there’s no one in there except those two. Finally, the girl who was smiling all the time broke the silence.


“Nee Kumi-chan. Are you okay? Why do you look so pale?” Rena saw Kumi startled. She was looking back at her. Kumi’s mouth was opened like she was going to say something, but no words were coming out. Rena saw her sighing before she replied that she was ok.


“Really? Is there anything you wanted to tell me but you couldn’t?” Rena asked concern. She never saw Kumi hesitated with anything before. ‘There must be something serious on her mind but what is it?’ Rena wondered.


“Nothing. It’s nothing, Rena-sama.” Kumi shooked her head. She yelped when she felt a smacked on her head.


“Ouch! Hey, what was that for?” Kumi asked. She can’t believe her eyes, Rena was grinning widely at her.


“Serves you right! I told you many times not to call me with ‘sama’, right?” Rena made a ‘hmph’ sound and crossed her arms on her chest. Kumi sighed while rubbing her head. ‘Why mad at me when you yourselve act like a princess?’


“Nee Kumi-chan. Aren’t you hungry? I’m so haanggreyyyy~” Rena rubbed her stomache. Kumi watched her in disbelieved.


“But we just had breakfast, right?”


“Now that I remember, I don’t even get to finish my meal.” Rena pouted sadly.


“Serves you right, Rena~CHAN! Haha. Who asked you to leave your meal halfway like that? And speaking of that, I have many questions to ask you--”


“Wait! If you want to ask questions, please let me eat something first. Mou~ Do this train sell anything to eat?”


Kumi sighed again. She grabbed a menu list and handed it to her princess. Rena took it happily and her eyes wandered over the whole list. Suddenly she grinned widely when something strucked her eyes.


“Kumi-chan, mitte mitte! Look, they have melonpan in here!” Kumi snatched the list from Rena’s hand and searched for the one that Rena said. Rena was hopping around, feeling overjoyed.


Kumi sighed. She grabbed the phone that’s in the carriage and made an order.


“We’d like to have 20 packets of melonpan, please.” Rena stopped her hopping and looked over to Kumi. She rolled her eyes. Kumi, knowing what it meant, continue speaking.


“I’m sorry, make it 30 please. Hai. 30 packets of melonpan. Yes. Hey, this is not a joke! Please send it here as soon as possible. Thank you.” Kumi slammed the phone back in its place. She saw Rena had a wide grin on her face. Rena was back in her place. She looked like a girl who can’t wait to get her favorite candy.


‘What a spoiled princess I have here.’ Kumi sighed for the nth time. After a while, someone came to send the order that they placed just now. Rena’s stomache started grumbling at the sight of so many melonpan. She quickly grabbed one and started eating them happily, not to care of some melon jam stuck on her face.


Kumi chuckled on the sight of Rena enjoying her meal. Rena really looked like a child when she got a melonpan, her favorite food. Kumi grabbed a napkin and wiped the dirt on Rena’s face. ‘Now I look like a mother taking care of her child.’ Kumi smiled. She liked seeing Rena happy. She will do everything she can to make sure of Rena’s happiness.


Suddenly another groan was heard. Rena stopped her eating and looked over at her friend. Kumi’s stomache grumbled again. Rena laughed while Kumi was blushing and soon ended up joined the laughter too. Rena grabbed a few melonpans and gave them to Kumi.


“So, what was it that you wanted to ask me just now?” Rena asked while munching her melonpan.


“First of all, where are we going?”


“Do you remember what Uncle said this morning? That my late Aunt was from Town AA?” Kumi nodded.


“I made an investigation. And my men told me that someone from my Aunt’s family is still living in the town.” Rena started munching another melonpan.


“So, are we going to meet that person?” Kumi asked and got a nod in reply.


“Yes, but I don’t know her full name. I just know that their family’s name is Furukawa. It might be a bit hard.” Rena sighed. Kumi gave a warm smile to Rena, reassured her that everything’s going to be fine.


“But why do we have to dress like this? What if someone know about us?”


“Isn’t this like a disguise? No one knows that the royal family actually has a daughter. Plus, what if the assassins know where we’re going? They might even kill people who are not involve. So this might be the safe way for us to investigate. Isn’t it?”


Seeing how calm Rena was, Kumi just kept silent. Maybe what Rena was saying is truth. Maybe it’s better if they dress like this. Maybe.. ‘I won’t let my guard down. I’ve made a promised to my parents. If anything happens, I’ll do anything to make sure Rena-sama is safe.’

Meanwhile, Jurina was having a good time. After the incident happened at the train station, she finally met the person she was looking for. It was Akimoto-san, the founder of the school that she’s going to transfer to.


Jurina’s school principal before told her that Akimoto-san will be picking her up himself after she arrived at the city. She wondered why would Akimoto himself wanted to pick her up?


‘He could just send someone else to pick me up, right? Like a teacher, or a student.’ It felt like she was getting a special attention from the man.


‘This is weird. Don’t tell me, he’s a pedo!’ Jurina gasped but shook her head afterwards.


‘There’s no way, right’ She smiled. However weird it may be, Jurina just shook her feelings aside, not wanting to ask anything.


So far, there’s nothing bad happened. Jurina was brought to the fanciest shopping mall in the city. She got to buy some clothes. She felt hesitated at first because she had never in her life bought expensive clothes before.


“Ano, Akimoto-san. This place is expensive. I don’t have money to pay even for a single cloth.” Jurina’s words touched Akimoto’s heart.


“Don’t worry. I’ll be paying for them. Just pick anything you like.” Akimoto gave a very warm smile and patted the girl’s head.


“Really?” Jurina shocked. She couldn’t believe her ears. Seeing a nod from Akimoto as a reply, she couldn’t help but feeling eager to try every single thing in the mall. She hopped from a store to another store, enjoyingly looking at everything.


Akimoto was just watching the girl with a smile. He chuckled when sometime the girl’s actions became amusing, like arguing with the shop’s workers about her sense of fashion. The workers kept persuading her to buy more girly clothes since she’s a girl. However, Jurina had alwasy love to wear boyish style of clothes since many people said she look incredibly handsome for a girl.


After they finished with the shopping, Akimoto brought Jurina to one of the most expensive restaurants in the city. The restaurant served every kinds of dishes all over the world. Again, Jurina was shocked in excitement. She tried a lot of foods that she had never tasted before. Akimoto watched her happily.


“Ano, Akimoto-san?” Jurina called after she finished eating she ordered. She felt so full that her stomache felt like a big balloon going to burst anytime soon.


“Yes, my dear?” He watched Jurina pursed her lips while playing with her fingers.


“Ano, thank you for everything!” The girl said a bit loud and bowed to him. He was shocked of her action. He touched her shoulder, making the girl held up her head again.


“Thank you for what?”


“Thank you for buying me all the expensive clothes that I have never wear before. Thank you for treating me to expensive foods which I have never tasted before. Thank you for picking me up today when you can actually asked other people to do it in your stead. Thank you for allowing me to go to your school despite that I don’t have any money to pay for the expenses. And above all, thank you for being very, very kind to me. No strangers have been so kind to me like this, unless they have something bad in their mind.”


“Well, I’m glad if you like it. Or else, I don’t know what I should do.” Akimoto replied calmly with a smile on his face.


“What do you mean?”


“You know, your ex-principal, Togasaki-san was actually my student. It’s been a long time already, but he always told me about you. He told me how proud he is with your academic success. That you are a genius with talent who should not be wasted. He always knew about your bullying cases, but he couldn’t do anything about it. Everytime we met, he will always cry when he spoke about you. He thinks of you as his own child, so he asked me to help you. You should thank him instead of me. Plus, I think of you as my own child too, since I don’t have a children. My wife has died already, and I was left with two nephews. So, it’s not wrong for me to add another one into the family, right?”


Akimoto explained while looking at her. She listened every words he uttered with a very touched heart. Her eyes were getting wet. Tears dropped along her cheeks while she mumbled the word ‘yes’ and nodded her head a few times. She felt that her life was full of happiness with so many people watching her and love her.


‘Thank you mom and dad for always watching me from above. Please forgive me for having this blissful feeling.’


“It’s almost dark. I should send you home for now.” Akimoto’s words brought Jurina’s back to the reality. She stood up and follow him to the car.


Along the ride to Jurina knows where, she just kept silence. She looked all around the places they passed by, watching the beautiful scenery of sunset along the way, until they arrived to a building. It was a very huge mansion built with a very grand concept. Every person who get to see it front to front their eyes will definitely go “wow!”. Jurina wondered who lived in this big place, and why was she brought to here. She followed the man while still having the awe look on her face, only to get even worse.


“Welcome back, master!” The big front doors made from finest quality of wood were opened revealing two lines of maid who were standing at the side of the way in. They bowed down to the man who continued walking inside the mansion, leaving the girl who was unsure of what to do. Her jaw dropped upon seeing the sight. ‘This is like a movie!’ She tought.


“Jurina-chan~” She heard her name was called and looked over to Akimoto who was calling her.


“Come here!” She ran towards his direction. The maids were still bowing their heads until she passed by all of them.


“Ano, Akimoto-san. Where are we?” Jurina asked while looking around the place. She was still in awe with the exterior and interior of the building. Everything looked so grand, and so new to her.


“Jurina-chan, welcome home. This is your new home. You can find almost everything in this place. Arcade, salon, spa, you name it.” Jurina’s eyes widened and her ears perked up. Salon? Spa? Arcade? She’s been dying to go to those places for all her life.


‘Am I dreaming? I must be dreaming right now. I need to wake up.’ She suddenly slapped her cheeks couple of times and groaned in pain. Akimoto chuckled upon seeing her reflections.


“You’re not dreaming, Jurina-chan.” Jurina pouted.


“But I was told to stay in the dormitary?” She asked, remembering what her ex-principal had said before.


“Yes, you will be staying in the dorm. I’m just saying that this is your new home. You can come here anytime you like. Feel free to stay here anytime. Just don’t forget to go to school and participate in school activities!” He warned with a serious face and tone, but laugh afterwards. Jurina was just smiling.


“Go back to work, all of you! Except Yuki and Kanon.” All the maids bowed their heads again before they went back to their works except two girls.


The taller one looked older than the other. She had a very beautiful raven hair, tied in ponytail with white scarf on her head that did not block her bangs. The shorter and younger one’s hair was a bit brownish and was tied in twin-tail style, also had the same white scarf on her head that did not block her short bangs. She looked even cuter with the dimple on her right cheek when she smiled, though it wasn’t very deep.


“Girl, this is Matsui Jurina, your new mistress. Jurina-chan, these girls are your personal maids. Kashiwagi Yuki, and Kimoto Kanon. If you need help with anything, you can just call for them.” Akimoto introduced them to each other.


“Kimoto Kanon desu! You can just call me Kanon or Non-chan, Ojou-sama.” The shorter maid bowed her head.


“Kashiwagi Yuki desu! Just call me Yukirin. Welcome home, Ojou-sama!” The taller maid said with a smile and bowed her head too.


“Matsui Jurina desu! Just call me Jurina-chan, no need to be so formal. I’m not used to it anyway. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!” Jurina returned the greeting and bowed her head too.


“Okay girls, bring Jurina to her room. And please take her belongings in the car and bring them to the room too.” The girls nodded and made their way to the car outside.


“Jurina-chan, take a good rest tonight. You have a school to go to tomorrow. And this is a gift for you. Make good use of it.” Akimoto handed a small bag to Jurina who took it with a confused look on her face. He already gave so many things to her, so what else would it be?


Jurina took out a box from the bag. She opened it and saw a rectangular shaped thing, not knowing what it is. She looked at the man, tilted her head to one side with furrowed brows.


“What is this?”


“That is a handphone. I bought it for you. There’s a manual book in the box. I have already saved a few numbers in there in case of emergency. There’s my number, here. See?” He pressed some buttons which then showed some numbers with his name on the screen. Jurina just nodded her head, not knwing what he just did.


“Thank you, Akimoto-san. I can’t thank you enough.” Jurina’s sudden hug shocked the man, but smiled afterwards.

“I’d love it if you could just call me Uncle instead.” He said while patting the girl’s head.


“Thank you, Uncle.” Jurina said softly. Warm smiles plastered on both their faces.
