Chapter 8=====At the bus stop====Jurina waits patiently a few meters away from the bus stop that Rena and Airin are sitting at.
She watches the two like a hawk and never leaves them out of her sight.
Everyone passing by Jurina avoids her at all cost. It was because she was exuding a deadly aura.
"How many minutes has it been Airin?" Rena asked impatiently.
Airin checked her wristwatch and said, "15 minutes. It should be here by n-....oh look that's our bus!" Airin stood up and pointed at the bus coming there way.
"Thank goodness, I thought we missed it already." Rena sighed.
The bus stopped in front of them and the two of them stepped in.
Jurina immediately got ready as she saw the bus. Gathering all her energy to follow the bus.
Airin stepped in first and was fascinated to see how huge the bus looks inside when it doesn't really look that spacious outside.
Rena followed her and remembered her happy memories in buses.
Airin sat at the very back where 5 persons can sit on it. She sat near the window on the right and Rena sat next to her a few inches apart so that she won't be too close.
"It's been a while. I missed this." Rena smiled widely.
"It's my first time so I don't really know how you feel Rena-san." Airin said to her.
"Oh right, then let me tell you some bus pointers." Rena said seriously.
"That button right there, you only click it if you are near your stop. Don't play with it or you'll face some serious consequence." Rena made a serious face then laughed.
"Hai!" Airin nodded as she listens intently to Rena's every word.
"If there are elders or people with disabilities and there are no more seats left. You have to give them your seat. They always come first." Rena continued.
"Hai!" Airin just nodded again.
"Hmm...what else...I guess that's just about it." Rena laughed.
"Can I ask you something Rena-san?" Airin hesitatingly said.
"Sure" Rena replied.
"Why do you like buses?" Airin asked curiously.
"Hmm...I wonder why...There's nothing really special about it right? Years ago I used to go home late at night because of swimming practice and I would be the only one left in the bus as my home back then was at the very last stop of the bus. I would open the window and I would close my eyes and feel the wind on my face. It makes me feel like I'm flying. And I just liked that feeling. I guess that's why I came to like riding buses." Rena reminisced as she looked around the bus.
Airin stared at Rena and just savored every second.
The bus stopped and more people came inside the bus and it filled half of the seats.
Jurina stopped as well to catch her breath for a while and glared at the back seat where Airin sits.
She immediately moved when the bus moved too.
"So... you were in a swimming team?" Airin asked curiously as she heard her talk about swimming practice.
"Yes, I was. Not to sound proud or anything but I was quite good. I was entering competitions and such. I won second place the last time I competed. I could've won if only I didn't had cramps back then." Rena said suddenly feeling the regret of not winning.
"How about you Airin, were you in any clubs?" Rena asked.
"No. We travel a lot back then and I didn't get a chance to enjoy school that much so I didn't join any clubs as I knew I wouldn't really stay long." Airin said with a sad smile.
Rena wanted to pat Airin's head but couldn't make herself to do it, so she just stared at Airin.
"Ah! But it was totally fine. I don't have any special skills anyway!....Ah! I can draw! But there weren't any drawing clubs in the schools I went to." Airin said as she tries to explain to Rena.
"Our school has an art club right? Why don't you join?" Rena said eagerly.
"Does it? I didn't know that. That could be fun." Airin smiled widely at Rena.
The bus stopped again and this time more people than before came in and the seats are all occupied now as there are some people standing.
Some people went to sit at the back and a guy sat next to Rena.
The guy sat too closely to Rena that she can feel his arm touching hers.
Rena suddenly trembled and sweat coldly.
"Rena-san...? Are you alright???" Airin was surprised as to why Rena suddenly became like that then she knew why. Since there are more people than the number of seats. The 5 people seater they are seating at suddenly have 6 people on it. And this guy was sitting too closely to Rena.
Airin immediately stood up and tried to grab Rena by the arm but stopped halfway. She clenched her fist but then she saw Rena's expression looking worse and worse by the second. So Airin grabbed Rena's arm for real this time and dragged her gently to make her sit on her side while she sat on her place instead.
Jurina who was following the bus at the back saw Airin stand up and drag Rena. She immediately tried to pedal faster.
She was now struggling to be side by side with the bus. She saw a glimpse of Rena's expression through the window and it didn't look good. She was so tired but her worrisome personality gave her enough energy to keep on pedaling.
"Neechan...Fight it...." Jurina thought to herself as she too fights against her own will power.
Airin tried to make enough room for Rena to breathe so she unknowingly kept on pushing the guy sitting next to her. The guy noticed it and was irritated so he pushed Airin too, "Hey, it's already cramped here so move to that side!". The guy gave her a strong push so she ended up bumping to Rena.
"Sorry, Rena-san." Airin could only apologize as she can't do anything about their situation.
Rena didn't seem to notice that Airin bumped into her as she was still trembling and having a hard time breathing so Airin opened the window near Rena.
Rena who was clutching on her dress felt the sudden wind so she looked up and saw that it was open. She looked at Airin and mouthed her thanks. Airin just smiled at her.
For the next 30 minutes they both sat there not uttering a word. Airin kept on gazing at Rena to see if there are any changes in her expression even though she was fine now. Rena had her eyes closed the whole time as she feels the cold wind coming into the window. Rena opened her eyes and saw that they are near their stop so she clicked the button near her.
It echoed a loud buzz and soon after the bus stopped.
Half of the people in the bus were stepping down as well so the two of them waited until everyone else did.
Soon after they paid and stepped down the bus.
Airin continued to gaze at Rena as they walk and asked worriedly, "Rena-san are you alright now?"
Rena who was spacing out looked at Airin and gave her a wry smile, "Mm. I guess I still can't ride buses."
Airin saw her smile and it made her sad so she said, "But you did well back there, you were able to be back to normal." Airin smiled at her.
"It's all thanks to you Airin. If you weren't there to help me, I don't know what could've happen to me." Rena looked at Airin intently.
"I didn't really do much Rena-san!! That guy kept on pushing me!" Airin suddenly felt irritated because of the guy.
"No, really! You did a lot. Thanks Airin." Rena smiled sweetly at Airin.
"So where do we go now?" Rena had her hands on her back as she titled her head and asked Airin.
Airin blushed at the sight of Rena's cute gesture and stumbles on her words, "Eh....Eh...Where is the n-nearest bookstore here...L-Let me check!"
Airin opened her bag and took out a large map and a little notebook. She accidentally dropped the little notebook as she struggled to open the large map that's double the length of her arms.
Rena saw that little notebook that she dropped so she picked it up for her.
The notebook has Gundam as its cover. She flip the cover of the spring notebook and saw the notes that Airin made. Notes like, the cheapest restaurants, stores that sells a lot of cute things, different sweet shops, famous drink stalls, bookstores, famous clothing stores and others.
Along the side of the notes are the little drawings of emoticons that Airin drew. It's so cute, Rena thought.
At the very end of the page she saw something encircled in red and it reads, "COSPLAY CONTEST ON JULY 27!!!! MUST SIGN UP!! would be glad if Rena-san will sign up too~~~~"
Rena laughed loudly so it got Airin's attention from the map that she's trying to figure out.
Airin saw what Rena was holding that she got red and became frantic.
"AHHHHH!!!! No!!! not that!!!Rena-san please give it back!!!" Airin asked for it and waited for Rena to give it to her but Rena just laughed and raised her hand in the air along with Airin's notebook.
"Get it if you can reach it." Rena smiled.
"Eh??? How can I???? Eh?????" Airin was surprised by Rena's actions and words.
Rena was taller than her plus Rena's arms are long so it was impossible for Airin to reach it without touching her by the shoulder.
Airin didn't know what to do. She tried to jump all the while avoiding to have any physical contact with Rena. Rena who was just watching in amusement at Airin plays with Airin more as she exchanges the notebook between her hands.
"R-Rena-san this isn't fair!!!" Airin still trying to grab the notebook while trying to avoid any physical contact with her.
"You look so funny Airin." Rena laughed. She then dropped her hands and gave Airin her notebook.
"Mou...Rena-san! That wasn't fair!" Airin pouted and tried to hold the notebook as if her life depended on it.
"I'm sorry Airin. You are just so fun to tease." Rena smiled widely.
"D-did you read it?" Airin asked nervously.
Rena just smiled at her and then walked away.
"Ehhh???? Wait a minute!!! Rena-san answer me!!!!" Airin run towards Rena.
Jurina fall behind as her legs were giving up on her. She lost her speed and the bus.
Jurina was catching her breath as she looks around for the bus that she was following.
"Where is that bus??? How can I miss it!" Jurina said irritatingly. She pedaled slowly and looked for the bus but she already lost it. She kept on looking left and right to look for the bus that she didn't notice it was a stop sign and that there were some people crossing.
Jurina looked at her right and spotted Rena walking with Airin.
"Ah!" Jurina shouted happily but that was then replaced by a worried shout as she saw what was in front of her.
Jurina tried stopping her bike immediately but she still bumped into a girl.
"Ouch! The hell?" The girl yelled as she fell to the ground on her butt. Jurina immediately aided to the girl," I'm so sorry miss I wasn't looking. Are you hu-.... Akane????" Jurina was surprised so she said her name loudly.
"Juri-chan???" Akane was surprised as well but she immediately stood up and remove the dirt from her pants. As she stood up she felt pain on her ankle so she winced a little.
Jurina took her bike and Akane to the sidewalk and said worriedly, "Are you alright? It seems like you hurt your ankle."
"It's fine. I can manage." Akane said as she smiles.
"Are you sure? It looks like its swelling." Jurina asked.
"No it's fine! look!" Akane jumped and she almost fell but Jurina caught her in time.
"Don't push it. It will become worse." Jurina held Akane by the waist to help her stand up again.
"Where are you heading? I'll take you." Jurina looked at Akane and asked.
"I was about to go to the grocery store." Akane said as she winced.
"I'll take you then but first let's go to a drug store first." Jurina said.
"Eh? There's no need! it'll be fine after a while." Akane said to Jurina.
"No. It's my fault you're like this so I will take responsibility." Jurina said seriously.
"Ehhhhh...So Juri-chan can be quite cool too~" Akane smiled menacingly at Jurina.
"S-Shut up! Sit behind me and let's go!" Jurina said irritatingly.
Jurina pedaled to find the nearest drug store while Akane sat behind her. Akane was clutching on the sides of Jurina's shirt.
"So....What are you doing out?" Akane said.
"I was followi-... Ah!!!!" Jurina stopped pedaling as she realize what her reason was in the first place.
Jurina looked around to look for Rena and Airin but they were nowhere to be found.
"Following who? Are you stalking someone? That sounds so creepy~" Akane said jokingly.
Jurina was so irritated but then started pedaling again. She can't do anything about it now. She has lost them and she'll just have to wait to see her sister later at home and pester her about their date.
"Jurina..?" Akane asked Jurina but she didn't respond as she was in deep thought. She kept on calling her name but Jurina is still unresponsive so Akane decided to take some action.
Akane hugged Jurina tightly from behind and leaned on her back.
Jurina was surprised by the sudden action from Akane that she unsteadily moved almost making them fall off the bike.
"Akane...?" Jurina said in a low tone.
"Somehow hearing my name from your mouth sounds so nice." Akane hugged Jurina tighter.
Jurina blushed and her heart started beating faster, even faster than how she pedals.
It took her by surprise and she didn't know how to respond so she just stayed quiet.
It took her a while to find a drug store but at least she did.
"Just wait here." Jurina said to Akane as she entered the drug store. Akane stayed outside by the bike.
After a few minutes Jurina went out of the drug store.
"They said you can apply this and the swelling will lessen then wrap it using this bandage." Jurina hand Akane the medicine bag but Akane didn't move.
Akane tried to reach her ankle without any effort at all. "I can't reach it. Apply it for me." Akane pouted at Jurina.
"Huh???? Are you kidding me???" Jurina was bewildered.
"Please~~~~" Akane batted her eyelashes at Jurina jokingly. Jurina blushed at the action.
"Fine!" Jurina said as she blushes and knelt down.
"Eh???? You're doing it for real??? Wait! I'm just fooling around!!" As Akane was trying to explain herself, it was already too late as Jurina removed Akane's sandals and held her foot gently.
She started applying the medicine on her hands and gently massage it on her ankle.
Akane became embarrassed and she was flustered by Jurina's actions. It was a first for her to be treated this way and it moved her.
Akane just stared at Jurina lovingly and smiled genuinely.
After Jurina massaged her ankle she wrapped it with the bandage she bought then gently place back her scandals and stood up.
"There. It's done." Jurina was looking at Akane's foot when she felt something soft and wet touch her cheeks. Akane had kissed her on the cheeks.
Jurina blushed and was speechless as she stares at Akane who was smiling sweetly.
"A thank you kiss." Akane winked at her.
"T-That wasn't necessary! I-It was my fault you were hurt in the first place." Jurina said as she looked away.
"Juri-chan look so cute when she's stuttering and flustered." Akane said as she hugged Jurina and ruffled her hair. She stops her actions and whispered at Jurina's ear. "Thanks".
Jurina became red. Akane released her from her hug and they stare at each other for a few seconds until Akane broke their eye contact.
"Let's go to the grocery now. I have a lot of things to do later." Akane smiled at Jurina normally as if nothing happened earlier.
Jurina was still stunned and she was still staring at Akane.
"Are you just gonna stand there?" Akane asked.
Jurina immediately took her bike and waited for Akane to sit behind her. Akane clutched on the sides of Jurina's shirt. This action somehow disappointed and confused her. She tried pedaling faster but Akane didn't hug her, she just held tightly on her shirt.
"Ne, Airin can we stop to buy some drinks? I'm thirsty." Rena asked Airin sweetly.
"Hai! Eh...." Airin opened her notebook to look for the most famous drink stall in the city.
"Airin?" Rena said looking at her.
"Yes...?" Airin said without looking at Rena as she continued to read her little notebook.
"Can you keep that away and don't open it?" Rena said.
"Eh?" Airin looked up this time surprised.
"Let's just explore the city and enjoy ourselves, okay?" Rena smiled sweetly.
Airin was embarrassed but she just nodded at Rena. They walked together side by side and enjoyed themselves as they stroll around the city.
"Look!" Airin pointed out as she saw a stall selling fruit smoothies.
"Perfect." Rena said as they walk towards the stall.
"What do you want?" Rena looked at Airin and asked her.
"Same as what you'll have, Rena-san." Airin said.
"You sure? Okay then. 2 melon smoothies please." Rena said to the counter.
"Note to self! Rena-san likes melon flavored smoothies!", Airin thought.
After a few minutes they got their drinks and paid for it. They went to stroll the city again keeping an eye for a bookstore. Airin kept on looking at Rena as she watch her sip her drink so cutely.
"How can someone be so cute just by drinking? Ahhhh~ I want to take a picture!!!" Airin thought to herself.
As she was looking at Rena she suddenly saw in her view a store.
"Ah! Rena-san look!" Airin pointed to the store and Rena followed her gaze.
"That's a manga store, I don't think we can find the book we are looking for in there." Rena said to Airin.
"Ehhh~ but can we at least take a short peek? Just a very very short one?" Airin said to Rena almost pleading like a little kid.
"I guess we can." Rena smiled at Airin's cuteness.
"Yay! I've never been to a manga store! I always just order my mangas online." Airin said as she skip around as the two of them walk towards the said store.
Rena just smiled at her and watch her skip as she walks. She is so cute, Rena thought.
As they entered the store, Airin have a big smile on her face as she saw all the mangas in front of her.
"Let's go look around. I've been wanting to buy some new mangas too." Rena said to Airin, who was already looking at the mangas in front of her.
The two of them walked silently as they enjoy looking at the mangas.
"Ah!!!" Airin screamed as she saw a new volume of her fave manga that she doesn't have yet.
"I didn't know it's out already!" Airin said excitedly.
"Eh...So you like those kinds of mangas?" Rena asked.
Airin was holding the new volume of "Hentai Kamen" in her hands.
"Can I read it here?" Airin asked Rena as she watch other people read their mangas on hand.
"I think so." Rena said as she watch other people reading too.
"Ehhh... I didn't know we can read it for free! This is so cool!" Airin said happily as she reads her manga.
Rena smiled at Airin and said, "I'll just go there." Rena pointed to the other side of the shelves.
"Mm." Airin was so immersed on her manga that she jut nodded at Rena.
Rena smiled as she saw Airin being so focused on her manga.
Rena walked and observed then she saw a cover that caught her eye.
It was a cover where a young girl was eating a cake very cutely.
Rena blushed at the sight of the 2D girl and stared at it without thinking of grabbing the manga.
She was in awe how cute the 2D girl look like and started rubbing her cheeks. She thought that she may look disgusting from another person's view so she shook her head and decided to move on away from the manga.
It took them at least 30 minutes inside that store and Airin bought a lot of mangas while Rena bought none.
"Sorry for buying a lot and taking most of our time, Rena-san. We should really go look for that book now." Airin said shyly.
"It's fine, Airin. I had fun taking a look around as well. I wanted to buy a manga but I only have enough for the book it seems. I didn't really consider buying anything other than the book." Rena said as she checked her wallet and sighed.
"I can lend you some if you want to buy something, Rena-san." Airin said.
"No, it's fine but thanks for offering. I'm saving up anyway so I guess it's better this way since I won't be able to waste more money." Rena said but then she looked at Airin who was now looking shy and tried to hide her plastic bag full of mangas.
"Ah! I didn't mean to offend you or anything. Sorry." Rena said.
"I-It's fine, Rena-san! Don't worry." Airin waves her hand as she tries to show Rena that she wasn't offended.
She really wasn't offended but she suddenly felt shy and embarrassed for buying a lot when she can definitely use it for something useful later and save up just like Rena-san.
"Ne Airin, Are you hungry?" Rena asked as she looked at Airin.
"Not reall-" Airin was interrupted by the sound of her growling stomach definitely wanting attention to be full.
Rena giggled but was also interrupted as her own stomach growls as well.
They both laugh loudly at each other.
"I guess we better eat something. It's almost lunchtime anyway." Rena said as she rubs her cheek in embarrassment.
"Yeah we better!" Airin smiled but not because of their attention seeking stomachs but because of the sight of Rena rubbing her cheeks. She really likes seeing Rena rub her cheeks. She looks like a kitten rubbing her face with her paw. It was so cute, Airin thought.
Jurina grabbed a large cart at the entrance of the grocery store. Akane stopped her from moving as she climbed onto the cart and sat inside it.
"Now, you push." Akane grinned at Jurina.
"What are you a 5 year old? Out now!" Jurina said irritatingly.
Akane pouted again and raised her foot showing Jurina her bandaged ankle.
"Argh! Fine! Just don't move too much!" Jurina felt helpless and just pushed the cart with Akane in it.
"So what are you going to buy anyway?" Jurina asked Akane as they stroll around the veggies and fruits area.
"Just a week's worth of food for 1 person." Akane brought out a list and hand it over to Jurina.
Jurina grabbed it and asked, "Just for one? Are you all alone? You don't have any family?"
"Yup. Just for one." Akane replied simply ignoring the question about her family.
Jurina didn't asked any further about it and just continued to find the food that's on Akane's list.
Jurina checked the list again and notice that it's all junk food.
"These are all junk food. It's bad for your health. Don't you cook?" Jurina asked worriedly.
"Who are you my mother? No, I don't cook and it's fine as long as I can put something inside my stomach." Akane said irritatingly.
"Why don't you learn to cook then?" Jurina asked ignoring the irritated sound from Akane's voice.
"I can do cup noodles, that's considered as cooking right?" Akane said jokingly.
"That's not funny at all. Can you at least fry something like eggs or hotdogs? Anything?" Jurina asked totally bewildered.
"I tried and I almost burned down my room so I won't ever do that again." Akane said seriously.
Jurina looked at Akane, somehow this Akane that was in front of her was so different than the Akane she meets at school. And for some reason she wants to protect the Akane in front of her.
Jurina went to go look for some raw meat in the meat section.
"What are you doing here? I can't cook remember?" Akane said as she looked at Jurina.
"I'll cook for you." Jurina said in a serious tone as she looks at the selection of meat in the freezer.
"That's not necessary. You're not responsible for me. Helping me out here is already enough." Akane said in an irritated tone.
"I'm doing it because I want to. I'll go by your house tomorrow and cook for you. By the way where do you live?" Jurina asked as she looked at Akane who had her back to her.
"I said it's not necessary so you don't have to cook for me or go to my house." Akane said angrily.
"Why are you so mad? I'm offering to cook for you, shouldn't you be grateful or something?" Jurina said as she grabbed a meat in the freezer.
"Being grateful is not really in my vocabulary so thanks but no thanks." Akane said still angry.
"Whatever, I'll still cook for you." Jurina put the meat inside the cart.
"Why are you so stubborn?" Akane glared at Jurina.
"Why are YOU so stubborn?" Jurina glared back.
"Hey! You just repeat what I said! Fine! Whatever! Suit yourself!" Akane faced forward again with her arms crossed.
Airin and Rena found a restaurant to eat in and sat at a table near the window. The waiter gave them their menus and went back to the counter.
Airin immediately grabbed the menu and used it to cover her blushing face. It was because they were sitting facing each other and Rena was staring at her.
Rena finally stopped staring at Airin and decided to read the menu.
Airin lowered her menu to look at Rena and then she caught a sight that she definitely want to capture using her phone.
Rena was looking at her menu that was placed on the table. Rena had her right hand under her chin while the other one was used to flip the pages of the menu.
She stared at Rena's facial features intently. Those long eyelashes, that mole on her left rosy cheek. Those luscious lips and that beautiful cleft chin.
"She looks amazingly beautiful..." Airin thought to herself then without any hesitation she took out her phone and made sure it was in silent mode before taking a picture. She immediately lowered her phone as she stares at the beauty that she just captured on her phone.
"Haaa... so beautiful~~~" Airin thought to herself.
"So what do you like to eat Airin?" Rena asked not looking at Airin as her eyes were glued at the menu.
"Ah!! Ah...a-anything you want is fine by me, R-Rena-san."Airin was so surprised when Rena suddenly asked her that she immediately hid her phone in her bag.
"I don't really eat meat so any veggies will be fine." Rena said as she finally look at Airin.
"You're a vegetarian? Why don't you eat meat?" Airin asked as she placed her menu on the table.
"I just hate the taste of meat." Rena had a look as if she was disgusted.
"Ehhh... So Rena-san hates meat. No wonder you're so thin..." Airin said subconsciously.
"I guess you could say that. So, How about a hot pot? a spicy one? Do you like spicy foods?" Rena asked with glittery happy eyes.
"You like spicy foods?" Airin asked totally bewildered. She didn't particularly hate spicy foods but she didn't particularly like it either.
"Mm!" Rena nodded happily.
"I wonder how spicy level 15 is..." Rena said as she stares at the menu.
"Level 15?! A-Are you for real, Rena-san??" Airin was wide-eyed as she looks at Rena who was still happily looking at the spicy hot pot section of the menu.
"This could be fun. Let's try it, Airin! Like a challenge or something." Rena said as she smiles at Airin.
"A challenge? So that means there will be a reward and punishment right?" Airin asked curiously.
"Hmm, nice idea. For the reward, we can grant the other a wish." Rena said happily.
"A wish? Okay that sounds great!" Airin was already imagining what her wish to Rena will be. She will wish for her to enter the cosplay contest with her. Just imagining it makes Airin so excited. She imagines Rena cosplaying a princess or a maid or a teacher. She's already drooling just the thought of it all.
"For the punishment...it's up to the winner...whatever it is, it must be obeyed." Rena said seriously.
Airin suddenly felt scared so she drank some water.
"So.... you game?" Rena said smiling.
"Game! Bring it on!" Airin shouted as she lifted her fist in the air. She suddenly felt stupid doing so, so she became embarrassed.
Rena laughed and then asked for the waiter.
Airin grabbed one of her newly bought manga as they waited for their order.
Airin saw that Rena seems to be bored as she was just sitting there and looking around the place.
She grabbed another manga and slide it on the table towards Rena.
"Here you can read this while we wait, R-Rena-san" Airin said without taking her eyes off of the manga.
"Thanks." Rena grabbed the manga and read it silently as they wait for their order.
After a few minutes their order came and they hid their mangas.
Rena looks so happy seeing the spicy hot pot while Airin is already dreading accepting the challenge.
Rena opened the cover of the hot pot and smelled it.
"Wow that smells dangerous! This will be fun!" Rena excitedly said.
It was the first time Airin saw Rena this excited and she looks kinda scary.
"I doubt it..." Airin looked sacred as she stares at the spicy hot pot.
"I'll taste it first." Rena said happily as she picked up her chopsticks and bowl.
She took out a small amount and tasted it.
"It's deli- *hic* -cious!" Rena said.
"Ah! I got hiccups so *hic* this is really spicy! I only *hic* got hiccups if it's really really spicy!" Rena was so embarrassed by her sudden hiccups so she cupped her face.
"Ehhhh???? that's so adorable!" Airin said and not wasting anymore time she grabbed her phone again and recorded Rena on video.
"Do you mind if I record this, Rena-san??? It's too precious!!!" Airin said not hiding her excitement over Rena's cute hiccuping fit.
"Ehhhhh????? This is *hic* embarrassing!! S-Stop it! *hic*" Rena tries to cover the camera lens with her hands but Airin dodges them easily and captures every hiccuping moment that Rena had.
After a few minutes Rena's hiccups were gone but Airin was still recording Rena.
Rena who seems to got used to Airin recording her didn't mind it at all and grabbed Airin's bowl to fill it up with the spicy food.
"Now, It's your turn. Give me the phone." Rena said seriously and handing out her hand to Airin.
Airin gulped and stopped recording and dropped her phone a few inches above Rena's hand.
Rena started recording Airin on video and said, "Now it's your turn." Rena smiled sweetly.
Somehow seeing Rena smiled so sweetly gave her the creeps. Airin hesitatingly picked her chopsticks and bowl.
She smelled it but immediately backed away as the spiciness got through her nostrils.
"Ah! *coughs* This is dangerous!" Airin was wide-eyed as she looked at Rena who was just smiling behind her phone.
"A challenge is a challenge and you agreed to it so you should finish it." Rena said.
Airin imagined Rena cosplaying for her and dig in to the spicy food. She was just putting the food on her mouth but not chewing it. Her face was turning red and her eyes were becoming teary. She couldn't help it anymore and coughed. As she coughed she spat some of the food on the table.
Rena was laughing but she kindly gave Airin a tissue while still holding onto the phone.
Airin couldn't help her tears anymore as it continued to flow down. She grab the tissue and wiped her tears and then use it to wipe her mouth as she tries to chew the food.
"Do you really want a wish so bad? You can just ask and I'll gladly do it." Rena smiled and looked at Airin lovingly.
"Really??? *cough* That got recorded you know so I will definitely take your word on it sometime." Airin smiled at Rena lovingly too.
"Mm" Rena just nodded and stopped recording. Airin was cleaning the food that she spat on the table and Rena helped her.
