Gives just enough to satisfy, while leaving enough out to make the imagination go crazy, to make one want even more ;D

But seriously, it's not bad. I definitely wanna see how the rest of it goes before saying anything so definitive about it lol

Annnnd as always, my personal commentary that we can all live without: http://wp.me/pgObk-tq

I have no doubt the Dance Shot ver is released earlier being that it's easier to make than the actual, proper MV

but tbh I don't see the point of it seeing as it's just a 'lite' version of the live at Girls Award
Wouldn't have been better to clean up the 'graininess' & static of that live & use that? :wth It was awesomer & had green lasers!

I've been lurking at the video and watching the comments stream update constantly. The response from the Japanese fans has been very encouraging and it makes me even happier to see that even the first generation fans are slowly coming back to the fold, with several commenting that they might actually buy this single for the first time since 10 years ago.

Words cannot express how much I love this in general, because I love this new Momusu to bits. Riho is amazing, Ayumin is amazing, so much love for everyone, even the ones I'm not looking at. The real surprise for me here was Eripon, whom I hardly had any expectations for. That is usually the case. They always surprise me when I least expect it. XD

The only real downer is how the English-speaking fans are almost always uniformly negative and/or whiny. Is it not enough to love the group? Must you nitpick endlessly about line distribution? I might be biased, of course, since I adore Riho and Riho is right in the front and has a lion's share of the lines. But it's not as if the other members are completely invisible. Hell, I was watching this with rokun and he and I notice completely different people in the same video. It's called selective attention, and I'm more interested in the cohesion of the group as a whole and the charms of those that manage to catch my eye, rather than bitch about how so-and-so doesn't have enough screentime. Again, I repeat that I might have a bias, since my favorite has tons of screentime, but I'm just saying how frustrating it is to read English speakers whine on the official video about how "oh, Reina again? I'm sick of hearing Reina" or "Oh, you mean Momusu had more than 2 members?" Comments like this really hurt the fandom, and it hurts my pitiful little wota heart, who just wants to have fun and love the girls. At least the Japanese fans are basically rejoicing in how the new girls are shining in their own ways, pointing out the good things and generally living it up. That's not to say criticism is a bad thing, but really. At least nitpick on more important things, will ya? And even when the Japanese fans like the girls with less screentime, they don't whine and blame Tsunku and demand more screentime. They are more like "GANBARE!!! WORK HARD SO YOU CAN HAVE YOUR DAY IN THE SUN!!". I like this attitude so much better.

Sorry about the rant lol. It gets annoying to see the English speaking fans making a ruckus about the usual uneven line distribution, when Momusu has ALWAYS had uneven line distribution. I mean, it goes all the way back to when it was Nacchi feat. Morning Musume. It's not new, it's not going to change, and at least now the kids actually get more screentime compared to before. Is it not enough to love and support them? I know I'm having fun watching the view counter frozen at 308, and the likes counter climbing steadily. 4400+ likes in a 7 hour period. That's progress. Renai Hunter on the official channel only has 11k likes, total. After how many months? We're not even past the first 12 hours and we're already halfway there for this one. I can't help but be caught up in the insane enthusiasm shown by the commenters. XD

Also, my real purpose of commenting here is to post this:

The songs list.

「The Matenrou Show」Lyrics:Tsunku Music:Tsunku Arrangement: Suzuki Kensuke
c/w Morning Musume Rokkies 「Watashi no Jidai! (My Generation!)」Lyrics:Tsunku Music:Tsunku Arrangement: Hirata Shouichirou
c/w Morning Musume 9th gen 「Aisaretai no Ko... (The One I Want to Love...)」Lyrics:Tsunku Music:Tsunku Arrangement: Hirata Shouichirou
c/w Morning Musume 10th gen「Seishun do Shin chuu (In the midst of Youth)」Lyrics:Tsunku Music:Tsunku Arrangement: Ookubo Kaoru

Fun fact: Ookubo Kaoru also did the arrangement for songs like Nanchatte Renai and Kimagure Princess. XD I had a look at the others, and they were involved in songs that I really like, not just from H!P, but outside it as well. :D This looks promising.

I guess each version will have the different b-sides located separately. This should be entertaining...

loved it, as usual Eripon shows full awesomeness and intensity.  Fukuhime really stood out to me in this video.  I dont have any beef about the vocal arrangements just yet, I prolly will when Maachan gets better at singing xD.

i loved it as well, i couldnt keep my eyes on 1 girl, like every angle i could see someone diffrent. granted tehre were sometimes you could barely see haruna or maachan or zukki in the end corners near teh back but when they came to the front/middle they made an impact. i was pretty awed with eripon too, she was clearly giving her best, and whenever i saw ponpon together during a certian move(i cnat remember the time right now >3<)it just looked flawless! i really cant wait for the pv to come out now! and i am so gonna learn this dance XD

Tsunku's comment on the song from his blog! http://ameblo.jp/tsunku-blog/entry-11269289099.html

「One・Two・Three」
- This time I really cut it close to the last minute to complete this song. Even after deciding on a theme, the image I had kept slipping away from it, and everytime I tried something it didn't work out, and I had to start over again. After countless changes, I finally settled on the current style.
The heroine the lyrics are based on is a pure, lovable, and reserved sort of girl, who wants the person she loves to care more about her, but is too shy to say it. Even then, her heart is unwavering in her love, and a girl who will work hard and wait patiently to be loved.
Why such a style for this song? This is after I looked at every single of the current 10-member group, assessing their faces and voices, and tried to pick something that will work for them as a group. Instead of assigning individual sentences, I assigned parts in a way to allow all 10 of them to shine wherever they stand. Some of the girls might have shockingly few lines, but as their voices overlap there is no sense of unease, and even within the out-of-place-ness there is no discomfort (?), and the song continues to evolve, becoming something you can hear the heart of.

I also added vocal effects (damn you, autotune, it was your idea tsunku?!) without hesitation.

It might be difficult to reproduce the desired effect live, but first I wanted to produce something like this.

The dance this time is also set at a higher level as a challenge to the members. 9th and 10th gen have only been in the group for around a year at most, and while they might not be moving in the same way as pro dancers, they are giving it their all at their current experience level (100% every single time), and this is what makes them Morning Musume.

==========================================

There's more on the other songs, but it's past midnight here and I figure I should translate the parts regarding this song first. XD Go Tsunku! You are consciously trolling us! Good! At least you know! Damnit!

People are still harping on line distribution? Come on, it wasn't °A-iri SHOCK bad! XD

But yes Tsunku should know that the autotuning really does get under us english-speaking fans' skins

But if it ends up selling well in Nihonland (like oricon #2 or #1 first week) then who are we to critique? :P

mmm... i like the dance. lotsa catchy group-sync stuff and formation switches. The song is good after a few listens too. nice job. :thumbup

Nitpick. I think someone, anyone, should go all "woooah-woah~~" when there's a "woooah-woah~~". I always keep trying to find the person singing it. XD

^Riho's the one doing most of the "woah"s. XD Except I can't see it sometimes. >_> Hmm. XD

I swear I will sleep once the video hits 5000 likes! Only 6 more to go! :D

^Yeah, between the two of them I guess. Can't seem to see Reina lipsynching it in the video though. Or maybe it's too grainy to tell at parts. *squints*

And yay over 5000 likes! I can sleep now!

Now I just have to wait for it to go OVER NINE THOUSAND.

I agree with Estrea, I love the attitude of Japanese fans (very generally said of course, not every J-fan is positive etc). I don't like it when foreign fans poison topics with bitterness and cynicism.

LOL I've said this before, but my fav member is Eripon and she won't be leading songs possibly ever. But so what. And hey she has moved from the far end corner to the side of the semi-front! That's what it's about! KEEP WORKING HARD ERIPON!!

Couple of thoughts:

1 - That combination of dance moves from other singles went better than I would think (except for the JKM one which looks out of synch)
2 - Background. Ew. That gold / brown color clashes completely with the girls' outfit. And it's a pity, because:
3 - The visual effect of the black/white plus different colors of the outfits when you watch them in movement is spectacular.
4 - AYUMI. Damn that girl can D-A-N-C-E.
5 - OK, I'm not a good dance critic because I don't understand a shit about dancing, but some say that the dance looks messy and I can't see it. Granted the JKM - like movement looks awkward, but as for the rest it looks great and smooth. Better than most MM choreographies we've seen where all you have is flail arms / change position / sing, more flailing arms / kick-jump-whatever / back to position.
6 - LOVE LOVE LOVE the chorus. And again, Damn AYUMI
