Part 2In school yard, a 7 years old girl was surrounded by some boys of her elementary school students. The girl squatted and tears were running down from her eyes. She covered both of her ears with her hands, not wanting to hear what the boys said.
“Haruna-chan is so fat!! Hahaha”
“Yeah. Look at Haruna-chan’s cheeks. It’s very big.”
“With that big cheeks, I’m sure no one wants to marry Haruna-chan!”
“Let’s call her Fatty!”
“Ah, that’s sounds good..”
“FATTY!”
“FATTY!”
“FATTY!!”
The only thing that Kojima Haruna could do was just crying. No matter how tight she covered her ears, she could still those boys’ words.
“HEY! Stop it! ” A boy’s voice was heard
The boys were looked at the owner of the voice.
“Oh, the midget is coming!”
“I’ll tell the teacher!! I’m sure all of you will get punishment!” Oshima Yuu, Haruna’s classmate, warned the boys.
“Don’t ever try to tell teacher!”
“Then get off from that girl now!” Yuu yelled
“Okay, we leave now! You midget is no fun!”
“The Fatty and Midget..Hahaha..Such a perfect couple!”
Then the boys left, leaving Haruna and Yuu..
Yuko approached Haruna. Yuko squatted down and released Haruna’s hand from covering her ears.
“Don’t worry. They already left. Don’t cry anymore”
Haruna looked at Yuu..
“They called me ‘Fatty’ ” Haruna said in weep
“Don’t listen to what they said. Haruna-chan is beautiful.” Yuu tried to console Haruna. “Haruna-chan is as beautiful as Juliet”
Haruna tilted her head “Juliet? Who is she?”
Yuu answered “I watched a movie last night. I forget the movie’s title. I also didn’t understand the story. The only thing that I remember is there’s a girl named Juliet. She’s soooooo beautiful. Just like Haruna-chan”
Haruna blushed after hearing Yuu’s words but suddenly she became sad again “But, they said that no one will want to marry me..”
“I said don’t listen to them. I’m sure many people will want to marry Haruna-chan”
“Yuu-chan is not lying, right?”
Yuu wiped Haruna’s tears with his fingers and said “If there’s no one who want to marry Haruna-chan, then I’ll be the one who will marry Haruna-chan. Don’t worry.”
“Really?”
Yuu nodded. A smile appeared on Haruna’s face. Yuu stood up and extended his right hand to Haruna.
“Let’s go back to the class..”
Haruna reached Yuu’s hand and stood up. Both of them walked to their class with holding each other’s hand.
1 year after that, because of Yuu’s parents’ decided to move to another town, Yuu and Haruna had to be separated. In the last day of Yuu’s attendant to the school…
“Gomen ne, Haruna-chan. But I have to go now..”
That was what Yuu said to Haruna who couldn’t stop crying..Haruna’s hand gripped Yuu’s shirt tightly. She didn’t to let him go.
“But, Yuu-chan had promise to marry me..” Haruna said between her crying.
Yuu patted Haruna’s head “Daijoubu. Haruna-chan is beautiful just like Juliet. Haruna-chan will find another boy who will marry Haruna-chan”
Haruna shook her head “But, I just want Yuu-chan..”
A teacher came and broke Haruna’s grip to Yuu’s shirt. He grabbed Haruna’s hand and try to drag Haruna into the classroom “Let’s go back to classroom now, Haruna-chan..”
“Yada!! I don’t want to!!” Haruna tried to release her teacher’s hand from her hand, but a kid’s strength couldn’t beat an adult’s one. Yuu was just standing and watching Haruna cried out and being forced to enter her classroom.
9 years later…
Haruna wasn’t a fatty anymore. She had grown into a tall and beautiful woman. She was one of the most popular girls Lilian High School. With her ‘almost perfect figure’, no wonder many person wanted to be her lover. Not only boys, but also many girls, had confessed their love to Haruna, but Haruna rejected all of them.
Differ from Haruna who had transformed into pretty girl, Yuu was still had problem with his body height. Okay, he wasn’t a midget. He was just had body height below the average. When he was a child he believed that his height will increase when she grows up and someday he became a tall man. But, he had to satisfy with his height now. Yuu was popular as one of Akihabara’s pretty boy because of his cute face.
