He finished the season with a .229 batting average and 24 RBIs. Despite the stats, he was a huge hit with fans who loved his enthusiasm, quirkiness and attitude.The Jays made three other moves Friday, exercising options for closer Casey Janssen ($4 million), first baseman and designated hitter Adam Lind ($7 million) and infielder Mark DeRosa ($750,000).Sources said Kawasaki, now a free agent, will likely go back to Japan, where he will sign with a team for $2 million.
