I couldn't understand him in his press conference.

Yea I think no other team in MLB history has come down from a 20 game under .500 deficit.

The Marlins Franchise is a total  2 World Series titles yet they are always a joke - no one predicts them to be hot.

BONDS got 731 - I bet he's gonna keep playing another year. He's SO DAMN close to Hank Aaron's record. 25 more to beat.

And what do you think of the debate - if Ryan Howard hits 62, is he the official HR king? I say fuck that, who knows what kinda regimen he's on?

Barring a sudden change of heart, I believe Barry Bonds WILL find a MLB team that will pay for his services in 2007.  I don't know if he WILL make it to #756 but it'll be a heck of a time seeing if he can beat Father Time to the punch.

And he might be in the playoffs come Fall. Man - that would be quite the scene when he's hitting 756 in Tropicana Field XD

Don't look now, but the Tigers are slipping while the Twins are rising. Yohan Santana on the mound!

Sheesh, Johan Santana was ROBBED of a second straight Cy Young award last year by dunderhead "writers" who have (in the words of Bill James) an infintile fascination with the "win" column and all that it DOES NOT represent.

HANDS DOWN, the best pitcher in the American League is Santana.  If he doesn't win the Cy Young for 2006 then...  well, you know the terrorists are winning the war.

That is all.

Here is your YANKEE HERO!!

Dude got a single in his first game back in like FOREVER! 4 for 4! Yanks have the AL East wrapped up so tight like the cloth in Rika's hot pants that why the fuck do we need to watch NYY-BOS series this weekend?

You know what, I just noticed there's a spelling mistake in this thread's title

the NL wildcard is just too close to call... how can a team with the smallest payroll in baseball be in the thick of things, i think Florida will somehow pull off the wildcard spot

the mets are the best in baseball, but i wonder how their starting pitching staff fair in post season

What a helluva story, and one that all of Nippon can be proud of.  New York LOVES your boy!!

In other news, Francisco Liriano blew out his elbow again, is probably kaput for the season and may under go "Tommy John" ligament replacement surgery.  OUCH!

My condolences go out to all Twins fans.  Beware the snickers from White Sox backers...

OUCH Tommy John, ligament replacing switching YOUCH! Poor Twins.

I know this cuz Tommy John used to be the manager of the local AAA team.

Hiya fudog!! Yeah man, Mets are lucky to have Tom Glavine throwing heat!! But he has never beat the Marlins lately, and not tonite either. The best thing they did was keep Jose Reyes and ship off Little Matsui XD

Barry Bonds crushed career homer #732 in the 9th inning of Wednesday's game against the Rockies' Brian Fuentes.

The Giants lost, 9-8.

That NL West lead is slimmer than Reina Tanaka at the Hello! Project cafeteria.

Is it true that Travis Ishikawa of the Giants is Rika's cousin? He was doing pretty good till he got hurt diving into the dugout.

I thought the Braves comeback against the Marlins on Sunday was nuts.

Now...  this Dodger victory in 10 innings over the Padres last night might have trumped the Sunday contest.  I think even Vin Scully's heart went pitter-patter.

That was crazy. I heard the replay on ESPN Radio All Night. Back-to-back-to-back-to-back. THEN the walk off to win it. WOW.

Congrats to the Mets! Finally the Braves streak is over.

and lol no zoolander. Rika has no famous cousins in MLB.
