Well season started for some yesterday, for us Mariner's fans it started today and we began with a bang! Moyer pitched awesome and gave up one unearned run, Ichiro was awesome as usualy and Sexson hit 2 homers and batted in 5 RBI's! w00t, we are awesome! There goes our 99-loss season.

Anyhow, discuss Baseball!

5-1 was it?? Damn...I only caught like half of yesterday's Yankees-Red Sox game. Hideki Matsui just continued to light em up and The Big Unit was mowing them down. How are they gonna replace Pedro?? Not with a collective that includes David Wells. Man he stunk!!

I have to tune in some highlights later but the Mets lost despite Pedro pitching well and Beltran going 3-5 with a homer?? At least Griffey came out in one piece

And whaddya think of the 38 minor leaguers being suspended for roids?

a day after some chump from the Devil Rays got busted? Bold PR move by MLB Brass that's for sure. At least Giambi sorta hit well, but he got hit with more pitches than swings.

Anyway, thank GOODNESS the Tribe sacked up and pounded Shingo Takatsu, aka Mr. Zero except when he faces the Indians, for 3 solo homeruns and then scored 6 in the 11th to get win #1. The bullpen was straight balls going 7.2 scorless.

This is one of the more bizzare stories I've come across in the last couple weeks. I wonder how this would have played on ESPN if he was still with the Mariners?
