Atsumina: Strong
Because of all the recent graduations AKB has lost a lot of it's original members. First it was Atsuko and then Kasai, Mariko, Sayaka, Itano and now even Haruna is thinking about leaving. AkB is losing so many members and many holes are now left empty. No one will be able to replace them and the thought of eventually all the first generation members leaving is just heart breaking to the small captain. She knew that they all left for their own reasons and as the head she was there for their departure wishing them the best. However now AKB faces a more serious problem for most of the popularity was focused on the first generation members. When they're all gone Minami doesn't really know what she is going to do in terms of popularity. When people aren't as interested in AKB then they don't make as much money. Not enough money means no paycheck and eventually they'll get laid off. Minami's fears and anxieties were stressing her to her limit where she wasn't eating or sleeping. All the girl did was work with no breaks in between. Whether it was performing or managing the girl was always on her feet.
One day Minami was walking in the hall when her good friend Yuko pulled her over and tried to have a conversation with her.
"Hey Takamina wanna go out to eat after rehearsals tonight?" she asked.
"No thanks Yuko I have work to do." Minami said.
Minami was trying to divert Yuko's attention and try to get away but she grabbed her and pulled her back.
"Come on Takamina you need to rest. I've seen you working nonstop so I think one tiny break will do you fine."
"I don't have time for a break now let go Yuko."
Minami shook Yuko off and quickly got away. She walked into her main office and locked the door so no one would disturb her. Then she started the many many piles of paperwork that came with being the general manager of AKB. She would work for hours on in sometimes staying all night. Minami always went straight from practice to the office working and using all her time. After hours of paper work Minami finally finished her work but at the price of no sleep. The girls would be showing up for morning practice soon so Minami quickly ran to the bathroom to wash her face and make it look like she had actually went home. She changed into her practice clothes and then went to the dance room. Just as she was showing up the others started to follow one by one. Once everyone was in they started dance practice.
"1,2,3,4!"
The rigorous dance routine began and everyone was on their feet moving with the beat of the music. Everyone was able to keep up however for Minami she was starting to struggle. The effects from not sleeping and eating were starting to hit the small captain as slowly she felt her body start to fall apart on her. The room started spinning and her breathing became shorter and shorter. Eventually everything suddenly stopped and Minami fell onto the ground.
When she woke up she found herself in the infirmary laying in the bed. She tried to move but she was too weak and fell back down. Just then the curtain opened and Yuko came in with a very angry look on her face. She sat down and said,
"Minami you need to rest and relax. You're pushing yourself too hard and you're hurting yourself. You need to rest."
"I don't have time to rest I have to work." Minami said.
"I know which is why I called someone who you will listen to since you're obviously not listening to me."
Yuko walked out and the person who came in was someone she hadn't seen in a long time. There sitting there in the chair next to her was Atsuko which was unexpected.
"What are you doing here Atsuko?" Minami said.
"I came because Yuko called me and said that you were hurting yourself." Atsuko said.
"Well you can go back to work I'm fine but thanks for coming."
"Minami you and I both know you're not fine."
Minami stared at Atsuko for a long time and was about to say something else but then suddenly Atsuko reached into her purse and pulled out a small box. She opened the box and pulled out a stick. Then she pulled out a lighter and lit the stick before putting it in her mouth. It was then Minami realized that Atsuko was smoking.
"When did you start smoking?" Minami asked.
"A while back. The stress of work was getting to me and I couldn't take it." Atsuko said.
"Atsuko that isn't good for you. Especially since you sing."
"I'll be fine I only smoke two cigs a day."
"No Atsuko you're not smoking anymore throw them away."
"You can't tell me what to do!"
The two were furious with each other and were getting ready for a fight. Minami took a better look at Atsuko though and saw that she had the same signs she did. She looked like she hasn't slept in days and she had lost a lot of weight. Her hair was a little messy and she wasn't even wearing that much makeup. The girl look exhausted and to add smoking onto that was going to make things worse for her. Minami knew that if she didn't do something then Atsuko's condition could get worse. Therefore Minami had decided that she would try to be the better person and help Atsuko in anyways she could. Later on that day she called Atsuko's manager and said that she was going to take her out on a little vacation. She argued how they both worked extremely hard and needed the rest if they were going to do better. Therefore the management agreed and Minami had full control of Atsuko. The next day Minami drive by Atsuko's house and picked her up. Before she started the car she said,
"Alright hand them over."
"Hand what over?" Atsuko asked.
"Hand over your cigarettes."
"Fine."
Atsuko pulled out two packs and handed them to Minami. Minami looked at Atsuko with a serious stare and said,
"All of them."
Atsuko rolled her eyes and pulled out two more packs and then placed them in her hand.
"All of them Atsuko."
Atsuko grunted and then pulled out two individual cigarettes from her hair. And another pack from her bra.
"Thank you."
Minami took the cigarettes and put them in a bag which she then put on her shoulder away from Atsuko.
"If I see you smoking one cigarette I'm locking you in a windowless room for two weeks. Understand?"
"Hai.."
"Good then let's go!"
Minami started the car and they set off for whatever Minami had planned. Minami took Atsuko to a small beach resort off the coast. Minami parked her car and then checked into the facility. They went up to their room where they unpacked and then Minami said,
"Alright let's go to the beach!"
Atsuko grabbed her swimsuit and headed to the bathroom and then Minami followed. Atsuko stopped and asked,
"Why are you following me?"
"To make sure you don't smoke." Minami said.
"Alright."
The two walked into the bathroom and then Atsuko started to change right in front of Minami. She knew that Minami couldn't change in front of others let alone be in the same room as them so she knew she would leave. However before she could take anything off Minami pushed Atsuko into the shower and shut the door. The door was tinted so she couldn't see anything and then Minami said Atsuko could change in there. She threw over Atsuko's swim suit and then stood outside the door and waited. When Atsuko said she was done Minami told her to wait inside so she could change. Atsuko couldn't believe Minami was actually changing in the same room with another person and was certainly something she had never seen before. It was hard to see but through the tinted glass Atsuko could make out a little of Minami's body. She could see her take off her shirt and bra and there Atsuko imagined Minami's small mounds. When Minami took off her panties Atsuko started to imagine Minami's lower parts. She stood there watching as Minami changed frustrated that she couldn't see beyond the glass.
"All finished!"
Atsuko came out and was surprised to see Minami wearing a pink two piece with pandas on them. Minami was very shocked when she saw Atsuko wearing a black two piece that barely covered her body. Her assets were showing very nicely though and Minami couldn't help but take a moment to admire. It had been a long time Minami had seen Atsuko in a swimsuit and she was afraid to admit that she actually missed it. While staring at Atsuko's lovely swimsuit Atsuko said,
"What are you five?"
"No! I just thought it was cute."
"You look like you're a little kid."
"Hey!"
Minami's face turned into a pout and that was one of the things Atsuko missed. She missed the cute little pout that Minami would make whenever she teased her on things. Atsuko giggled a little and then said,
"Come on let's go~"
The two walked onto the beach which was very beautiful. The sand was soft and the sun was hot shining high in the sky. The ocean was a lovely shade of blue and stretched on for what looked like forever. Eager to get in, Minami ran into the water where she soon realized the ocean wasn't as warm as it looked. Shivering and yelling Minami quickly ran out and over to Atsuko.
"Wah that's cold!!"
"Of course it is baka."
"At least I went in. Now it's your turn!"
Minami started to push Atsuko towards the water but then Atsuko stopped her.
"I can't swim remember?"
"Oh yeah! That's why I got this~"
Minami ran over and grabbed a pink inflatable tube floatie with pandas on it.
"I am not using that." Atsuko said.
"Oh yes you are."
After a half out of struggling Minami finally managed to get Atsuko into the water and swim around. She could tell Atsuko was nervous so she was holding her hand the entire time never letting go. Atsuko was still nervous but Minami held on as a wave came by and swept the two away. Then Minami would kick them back put only to be pushed back by the wave. After about an hour of that they switched where Minami was in the tube. When Atsuko saw Minami in the tube she couldn't resist saying how cute she looked holding onto it.
"Aww Minami~ you like a little kid~" she said.
"Shut up Atsuko!"
Atsuko pushed Minami out and decided to play a prank and leave her there. She pushed her way out and then started to swim back with the doggy paddle style she recently learned. Minami noticed and starting to calling Atsuko who only ignored her and kept moving. She made it to the shoreline and got up walking over to her chair. She grabbed her towel and wrapped it around preparing to turn around. Those cries turned in to sobs for when Atsuko turned around Minami was there sobbing her eyes out. Feeling bad Atsuko went back out and brought the small girl back. As soon as Minami was able to stand she grabbed Atsuko's head and forced it into the water. Atsuko came back out gasping for air and coughing up sea water.
"What the hell?!"
"That's what you get for leaving me."
"I wasn't going to leave you!"
"Sure you weren't."
The two went back into the room where they had dinner and both showered. To make sure she didn't smoke Minami made Atsuko wear her swimsuit and the two showered together. Once that was done they went out onto the front patio where they sat together and watched the sun set together.
"Sure is pretty nee?" Minami said.
"Yeah.." Atsuko said.
"I'm glad you came Atsuko. Aren't you happy to finally be able to relax?"
"I guess so."
"Good! Then wait here I have a treat for us~"
Minami ran into the room and then came out with two bowls filled with ice cream. She handed one to Atsuko and then a spoon. When Atsuko took a bite she tasted strawberries and cream with a little chocolate syrup on it. She liked the taste so she continued to eat.
"How is it?" Minami asked.
"Good." Atsuko said.
The two ate ate their ice cream together and when they finished they went inside and got ready for bed. Minami pulled Atsuko in for a warm hug and the two fell asleep soundly. However about a half hour later Minami woke up to the sound of glass breaking. Minami ran into the kitchen and saw Atsuko throwing glasses all over the place.
"Where are they where the hell are they?!"
"What Atsuko?"
"My damn cigarettes!"
"Atsuko calm down you know you're not getting them."
"Minami give me my fucking cigarettes!"
Atsuko threw a glass and threw it at Minami. Luckily Minami had dodged it and the glass shattered on the wall. She was about to throw another one but then Minami ran over to her and grabbed her holding her tight. The two started fighting and struggling until Minami got on top of her and pinned her down.
"Atsuko you need to calm down!" she said.
"Minami you don't know anything!" Atsuko said.
"Atsuko you just need to calm down. This is just withdrawal you'll be fine."
"God just get off me and let me smoke!"
"Atsuko!"
Minami slammed her lips into a painful but powerful kiss calming the wild girl down. She held Atsuko close and calmed her down as she began to cry. She kissed her cheek and said,
"You'll get through this Atsuko.."
Minami knew Atsuko was going through a rough time. All Minami could was be there for Atsuko and be strong.
