Hi all~ here is chapter 1
Hope it's not too boring >.<
Chapter 1
Yuria arrived at the principles office and was greeted by her homeroom teacher. She was lead to the classroom and she found the classroom very quiet. She hung her head down the whole time and stared at her shoes because she did not know how to react to new classmates.
“Class, this is kizaki Yuria – san. She will be joining us from today onwards. Kizaki-san please introduce yourself.” The teacher said.
Yuria had no choice but to look up. She started to introduce herself as she look around the classroom. It was definitely not as bad as she thought it would be. Her classmates all had a small smile on their faces and seemed happy to meet her.
“My name is Kizaki Yuria, I’m 16 this year, nice to meet you.” Yuria bowed.
The homeroom teacher told yuria to take a seat.
“Kizaki-san please take a sit beside takahashi-san. She is the class president. If there is anything that you don't understand, please feel free to ask her. I believe she will be more than happy to help you.” The homeroom teacher pointed at the seat beside takahashi minami.
Yuria glanced at the seat and then to takamina and she received a small smile in return. She walked towards her seat, which was at the second last row of the classroom. There was an empty seat beside her.
“Yoroshiku ne.” Takamina smiled at yuria.
“Yoroshiku.” Yuria smiled back.
“Anyone know where yagami-san is?” The homeroom teacher said as she looked at the empty window seat beside yuria.
“… Yagami… it can’t be.” Yuria thought to herself.
The classroom was silent and no one answered the teacher’s question. Suddenly a girl raised her hands and said: “She said she will be late today.”
“Thank you Oshima-san.” The teacher said.
The class was about to start when the door opened.
“…” The girl outside the door remained silent.
“We are starting class now, please take your seat.” The teacher said as she shakes her head.
The girl stepped into the class and yuria recognized her. She was the girl that she saw when she was at the gate. The headphone was still around her neck even though homeroom had started. Her cool figure walked into class and immediately attracted everyone’s attention.
“Kumi.” Takamina said as kumi walked towards her seat.
“Yo…” Kumi raised her right hand and said.
“Don't you Yo me. You are late again!” Takamina said.
“Don't mind don't mind” Kumi said as she gave a small smile.
Takamina just sighed and looked at her textbook.
“… Yagami… Kumi…” Yuria thought to herself and she had a sudden flashback.
FLASHBACK.
“Yuria! Don't run too fast! You will hurt yourself!” Yuria’s mother said worriedly as the 5 years old yuria ran towards the playground.
“Mum! Hurry up!” Yuria said as she did a 360-degree turn happily.
Yuria’s mother sighed and gave a small smile.
The playground was now empty and yuria was happy because normally, if there was anybody there, she was afraid of getting bullied just like she was in school.
“Yuria, I’m going to buy some drinks. Don't hurt yourself! I will be back in a moment.” Yuria’s mother said and left when yuria nodded.
Yuria had fun on the slides and the swings. This was the only moment that she enjoyed. School was difficult to stay in because the kids would just laugh at her. She had no friends.
“Heh look who is here. The chubby cheek girl” A bunch of girls approached yuria.
Yuria was scared. The group who always bullied her was now standing in front of her. She was alone. Sometimes she wondered why they would pick on her of all people. She hated it.
“… W-what do you want” Yuria said courageously.
“Nothing~ We just want to play.” The girls smirk as they surrounded yuria.
They pushed her to the ground and started kicking sand.
“S-stop it! * Cough*” Yuria coughed as she tried to stand up but was pushed down again.
“Hahaha! This is fun!” The girls continued.
Yuria was helpless and her face stated to tear up. The girls were still laughing and they did not show any signs of stopping.
“Ouch!” One of the girl suddenly said and then the other girl’s followed.
“W-what happened!?” The girls looked at each other and their faces were filled with mud.
“W-who did this!” They looked at yuria angrily.
“I-I don't know…” Yuria said as she hugged her bag.
“It must be you! How dare you dirty my face!” The girl shouted angrily. She was a spoilt brat. Just because her family was a bit wealthier, she thought that it was ok to bully.
“N-no it’s not me!” Yuria started crying.
The girls surrounded yuria again but this time, before they could surround her, they heard a jingle.
“huh?” The girls looked around as they kept hearing a jingle sound.
“You looking for me?” a girl appeared and stood in front of yuria.
The girls turned their head and there was a hooded girl standing in front of them. They were the same age.
“Was it you! The person who smudged mud onto my face!” The girl asked.
“Bingo.” The hooded girl then raised her hands and flicked a bell on her hood.
Yuria looked at the back of the hooded girl with tear filled eyes. Finally someone was here to save her.
“You will pay for this!” The girls then surrounded the hooded girl but they were no match for the hooded girl as she kicked the sand on the bullies and they ran away in tears and anger.
“You okay?” The hooded girl bent down and helps yuria stand up. She led her to the bench and gave her a handkerchief.
“Don't cry. Stay strong and they will not bully you.” The hooded girl said as she patted yuria’s head.
“U-uwahhhhh!” Yuria could not hold in her tears and cried it all out.
“E-ehhh?! Didn't I tell you not to cry!?” The girl shook her head in a panic and she suddenly took of one bell from her hood.
“Here I will give you this as a present. Don't cry” The hooded girl handed yuria the bell and smiled.
Yuria looked at the bell in the hooded girl’s hand and she smiled.
“Wow, pretty bell.” Yuria said as she took the bell from the girl.
The bell was emerald green and there was a beautiful pink cat in the middle of it.
“Kumi-sama. It’s time to go home.” A man suddenly appeared behind the hooded girl.
“Ok.” Kumi took the man’s hand and followed him to the car.
“Ah, wait.” Kumi ran back to yuria.
“What’s your name?” She asked yuria.
“K-kizaki yuria.” Yuria answered.
Kumi smiled and said: “Yuria-chan~ you shouldn't cry. Because when you smile, you look cute. I bet that’s the reason why they bully you. They are jealous hehe” The hooded girl smiled and yuria felt her cheek burning. This was the first time someone had told her that.
Just as the girl was about to leave, yuria asked.
“What is your name?”
“It’s yagami kumi! Hope we meet again, yuria-chan~ bye bye!” Kumi waved at yuria and smiled before leaving with her butler.
“Kumi-chan…” Yuria was a little disappointed to see her leave. Their meeting was short but kumi had left something for yuria. Yuria looked at the bell in her hands and said to herself: “Positive, positive.”
From then on, yuria did not see kumi again but the bell was always with her.
END FLASHBACK.
“Yagami… Kumi…” Yuria whispered.
“Yes? You called?” Kumi said as she looked at yuria.
“E-eh? N-no…” Yuria said as she blushed.
“hmmm~ Sorry I must have heard wrongly.” Kumi said as she looked at her textbook.
Yuria was just sitting beside kumi and kumi’s presence was so familiar. Yuria was unsure if this was the girl who saved her back then.
“Yagami-san, please answer this question.” The homeroom teacher said.
“…hai” Kumi stood up and walked towards the whiteboard.
* Jing. Jing *
Yuria’s head shot up as she heard the jingle.
“It's her.” Yuria whispered again when she saw kumi’s earring. The same emerald green bell with a small pink cat in the middle.
