Okay.. I'm a newbie here, which is obvious
I just have this idea when I watch the Japan Request Award that AKB48 won couple days ago
So you guys might see me again, might be not.. as this is a one in a life time that I wrote something, not less a fic

THREE MONTHS LATER.....click..
A lone figure stepped in to the appartment quietly, a sigh escaped her lips as she put her shoes on the rack. Walked straight in to the living room, she dropped herself to the comfy couch, too tired to pick up her bags on the floor.
"Why can't they just... let it go?..let she go? it's been freaking 3 months already..." - she mumbling, tears threatening to fall out of her now closed eyes.

[Flash back]
"Congratulation AKB48 on the Japan request award!!!" - said the MC
"Ah, thank you very much. This is such an honour to us, being loved by everyone. We will try even harder in the future, so please continue to support us!" - She cheerfully reply, slightly bow toward the audience, bright smile on her face. It's been a wonderful night, they won the Japan request award, and Wasamin even won one for herself as newbie in the Enka industry. She was so happy for everyone.
"It's must been really hard for everyone, right?" - The MC continue on the talking
"It was worth it, in the end, the fans recognised our hard work, that is the best award that we can ever ask for!" - Yuko smile, helping her answered the question, they were AKB's representative for the night anyway.
"Ah, such passion.. How was everyone coping with Maeda Atsuko-san's graduation? I think it's really tough.. right? but you guys were still trying your best, no wonder why AKB48 is so popular!!" - the MC smile at them
She froze. A slight twist in her eyes brows. Her smile felt a bit with a tug in her heart at the mention of that name.
"We were sad, of course, she was our Ace and been there since the beginning.. but we are okay, we have to continue with our new dreams and beginning after all. Im happy for her now that she can fully focus on her acting career!" - Yuko, realised that she wasnt going to say anything, jumped in and cover for her.
A hand touched her shoulder.
A warm, sad smile from the oldest member as she turned to see who that was.
A nod from Yuko when she met her eyes.
"Everything else aside, we are so happy today, thank you very much for your support!! and the next song we bring here today for you, is our new 29th single - janken single EIEN PRESSURE!! please enjoy!" - she shouted out, finally be able to keep herself in place.
[End of flash back]---------------------------------
"I miss you.. " she whispered to herself.. tears already rolled down her cheeks.
It wasnt that hard not seeing her partner at theatre show, or AKB48 work. She got used to it long time ago, since the other girl always busied filming and all. But whenever she accidentally looked up to the members' frame in the theatre hall, an undeniable pain immediately shot through her heart as the familiar smile couldnt be seen at the usual spot. In fact, she hardly recognised the other girl's presence in the theatre anymore, everything was so well removed.. As if the girl was never be there, never dancing and singing with them on the same stage, sharing the same dream.. for that long 7 years..
"I really miss you.. why didnt you even come back to visit once in a while?"
She knew. She knew that it's hard for the other girl, too. It was a tough decision after all.. and she also knew that the girl couldnt bear to return to their once-was-home theatre after she graduated, but she couldnt help it. It's freaking 7 years long, not 7 days! She was so used to have a rightful Ace as her partner, so used to their duet opening line of River, of Ponytail to Shushu together, so used to have a childish friend always clinged to her whenever she had chance, so used to be a pillow for her to sleep on, so used to be a human-tissue for her to cry on when needed.. so much that she couldnt bear the thought that the other girl wouldnt need her anymore. She felt so helpless..
As her mind continued on with all their memories, her fatigue slowly creeped in, it was a long day.. and her eyes lid started to get heavier.. until she couldnt fight it anymore. Not even bother that she was on the couch, she decided to just sleep there, with tears still on the cheeks, a visible pain still in her chest.. it's not that much different to sleep on the bed or couch anyway, since the other girl didnt visit her as often as she used to. No, scratch that, she didnt even visit her after that day at all.
"Why can't I just hate you.." - mumbling the last words, she drift off to sleep, hoping to see a certain smile in her dream.

Mean while...
A girl stood in the hall way of an appartment, a content smile on her face.
"Do you really want to hate me..?" - she asked softly to no one as she walked to a couch that had a tiny girl curved up in her slumber.
Atsuko had been in Minami's appartment for a while, she knew the small girl already home thanked to a squirrel, a cat and a troll's text messages. She decided it's time to see the girl and make their life less miserable. She was.. not a coward, but she just didnt have the courage to face the girl after her graduation. Even when she knew that nothing would change between them, that the girl would always open her arms for her no matter what, she still.. afraid.
She missed her.. more than anything. More than those dance lessons, more than dinner with all members, more than sharing a laugh with everyone.. She missed the way Minami hugged her, she missed that bright smile, she missed every moments she spent with Minami. But all she did, was working, staying home watching stack of DVDs, working, more DVDs.. even when her heart screaming of going to see the girl, she still.. afraid.
Afraid that Minami wouldnt see her the same anymore. Afraid that the girl would have had another Ace in the group to taken care of. Afraid that.. she wouldnt accept her feeling.
But today was different. Atsuko knew about the award, so she decided to watch it, she was happy for them. Then she saw it. The flinch moment of Minami at the mentioned of her name and her graduation. The hidden support from the other member toward Minami.
All it took was a few texts to her closest friends an hour later, and she knew Minami was home already. As she tried her best to not making any noise when she opened the door to Minami's appartment, thank God Minami still let her keep the key, she realised the older girl was lying on the couch and mumbling things to herself. Decided to eardropped, Atsuko just stood there in the hall way, listening to her friend soft sobs and in-coherent words in between.. And she found herself smilling at the cuteness of the other girl, even when she was crying.
She waited until all the sobbing replaced by an even rhythm of her friend's breathing to actually walk over to the couch.
"How can you're still so cute when you're crying?" - she gently poke Minami's puffy cheek as she smile at the girl "Do you even know how much I've missed you?" - Atsuko let her fingers traced along Minami's law line, then cupped the girl's face in her hand.. and she placed a soft kiss on her cheek.
"I think I love you. You idiot midget!" - Atsuko said, laughing lightly at the confession. She wanted to bring the girl to the bedroom so that she could lying next to her, watching her sleep.. but knowing Minami is a light sleeper,even a little noise could wake her up, Atsuko just sat down next to the couch, hear head lied on one arm, hand gently intertwined with one of the sleeping "midget".
She made a promise to herself, as she listened to her friend's breathing, that she would talk to her the next morning, no matter what.. That she would let Minami know her feeling. She would ask for Minami's forgiveness. She would ask for a chance to even just be like the old days again. And maybe, with a glint of hope, that may be, Minami would accept her..love. No matter what was the consequences, she would just let it all out..
Even if Minami rejected her, which she knew that would never happen, but if it did, she could always planning on getting her back. Now that she's not in AKB48 anymore, no one could stop her from chasing the girl. Right?
With a happy sigh, she let the dream land, that surely had a certain someone in there, slowly took over her mind.

"uhhum..? hand..?" - Minami woke up the next morning, only to find her hand was occupied..by a familiar softness. Not just the softness then..even the face was familiar.
"Urr.. I would never sleep on the couch again.. my heart hurt that I have illusion now.." - she thought -
"there's no way in the world that she's here.. I probably still dreaming? just need to wake up.. " She closed her eyes, count to ten, opened again, the sleeping face of an angel (a dark angel, according to her view) was still there. She pinched herself, hard.
"Ouch!!" - she groaned
"Wh..whha happened?" - a groggy Atsuko got up, eyes half opened, tried to look around.
"I'm not dreaming..? ATSUKO!?? what are you doing here?" - Minami , finally accepted the fact that she's not in her dream-lala-land, started to panic. She didnt know how to react, hell she didnt even know when did the girl come.. and why. Why now? Hundred of questions slashed through Minami's mind, so much that she could only stared at the girl now awoke infront of her.
"Oh.. so I need a reason to visit you now?" - Atsuko couldnt help teasing the smaller girl since she seemed to freak out a bit.
"No!! I meant.. of course you dont need any reason.. just.. it's been so long. I thought.." - Minami left mid-sentence, unable to get it all out as she found her throat dried at the thought only.
"Hey, I was just teasing you.. geez.." - Atsuko gently pat her friend's shoulder to sooth her down - "Anyway, why dont you go wash you face? I'll make us breakfast? Then we can talk while eating?"
Minami froze. Atsuko? Cooking? That's it! She must had still dreaming. There's no way in the world that Atsuko would cook. When they were living next to each other, on their days off, all Atsuko did was lying on either Minami's or her own couch watching movies and Minami did all the cooking. Not to mention..
"Atsuko.. since when do you cook? And I really dont want to have 3 dishes of tomato's variation for my breakfast..." - Minami said in a really serious manner
"MOU! I was about to cook you katsudon! but if you dont want it, fine!" - Atsuko pretended to pout, knowing well that Minami would never say no to her when she did so..
"I didnt mean that.. but... I.. meh, I'll wash my face, you can cook whatever you want to then.. " - Minami gave up, also knowing SO well that she could NOT resist her friend on anything with that face of her. She knew that she's a sucker for cute face.. no, precisely, for Atsuko's cute face.
"Minami" - Atsuko called out
"Hmm?"
"I love you" - she blurted
"..."
".."
"I think I love you, too" - came the reply in the simplest way Atsuko could ever imagine.
"Not in a friendly way! I.. "
"I know. I think I heard someone confessed to me last night, even called me midget...?"
"I thought you were asleep!!"
"And I thought I was dreaming..?"
"..fine.. cheater."
"Hey.. " - Minami turned around to face Atsuko, took her hands in hers, she looked straight into Atsuko's eyes with determination - "I'm not even sure myself that I love you the way you love me.. all I know is it's ... more than friendship to me.. I felt so helpless not be able to take care of you, to be your pillow or a shoulder for you to cry on... Now that you're here with me, I really, really dont want to go through those feeling again anymore.. So whatever this is.. can we figure it out together?"
Tears pricked Atsuko's eyes with overwhelming emotion from Minami's honest confession. That was more that what she could ever ask for. That meant they could start everything again, that meant she could be on her side again, that meant.. so much that she couldnt explain by mere words. So she nod.
"Un.."
"Hey.. dont cry.. " - Minami stepped closer and hugged her friend, or may be soon-to-be-girlfriend, gently pat her back - "even when I dont mind eating katsudon with your tears, I cant handle you crying.." - she smiled satisfying as the comment earned her a laugh from the girl in her arms.
Atsuko returned the hug, enjoying the fresh morning air and the warmth from Minami, something that she now sure that she could hardly live without. The two stood there for a long time, forgot whatever plans they were about to do, just holding each other.. and silently promised each other, to stay together in any situations, no matter how hard it was, as long as they're together, everything would be fine.. just as they did in that 6 years and 8 months..
