^fuck yes! Lmao the first day sales basically outdid some of the entire week's sales for some of the Platinum era singles. I'm glad they got 1st place! So proud ;w;

Now let's hope they keep up the pace and take weekly no.1 as well. I don't doubt they'll break 100k again at the end of the week :3

Edit: I just placed my order for a single. ;w; I haven't bought a single in ages, but I just had to support them this time.

Sayu, Fukuchan and Ayumi as reported on a news channel in Gifu regarding the new single and their handshake event there.

:3 I hope they keep up the momentum and continue promoting aggressively. They desperately need the exposure considering they don't have their own TV program like back in the day anymore. Satoyama Life doesn't really count I think...anyway

Even better: "Help Me" sold more in its first day than the first week sales of singles 28 through 49--that's everything from "Chokkan 2" to "Renai Hunter"! And that first day outsold the total sales of almost everything since 2005, the exceptions being "Wakuteka", "One Two Three", "Nanchatte Renai", "Kanashimi Twilight", "Iroppoi Jirettai", and "The Manpower"...and a few of those will definitely be surpassed within the next day or two if they haven't already.

I just had a look at the chart. SuJu's total single sales so far for first and second day combined is only around 55k, and estimating that MM sold around 3-5k in 4th place, that still puts them ahead for the weekly ranking (their first day sales still put them ahead lmao.)

There's actually a reason for the drop in sales. Most of the major music stores are completely sold out on the single. Yes, SOLD OUT. I think they didn't expect the demand. People have been tweeting Tsunku today saying that several places simply don't have it in stock anymore. Places like Sapporo are completely sold out

So it's not that they aren't selling as much, people just can't get a hold of it.

That's good news, right?

Correction: Regular versions A and B are the ones that are completely out of stock. I'm not surprised, because most of the major news sites in Japan keep using those single covers for display pictures.

^ Quite a few of us on H!O have been talking about how even though we pre-ordered their copies they still haven't been shipped yet. Realistically those of us who pre-ordered really should've had our copies shipped first. They really need to re-stock and fast.
